94 Diagon Alley

Chapter 140: Festival

When he came over, he was still puffing at the steak, Tonks watched with great interest for a while.

The next day was a dark, overcast day. Harry and the Weasleys parked in front of the Leaky Cauldron in a special Ministry vehicle.

Gwen saw their gang rush past the fancy joke shop, and Mrs. Weasley was staring at the wonderful poster. Her lips moved silently, silently reciting the words: constipation benevolence. "They'll be murdered in bed!" she whispered.

After a while, they came out. Gwynn thought they wouldn't stop by Ollivander's wand shop, since the Weasleys haven't had to buy new wands for their kids for years. But when she sent off a new Hogwarts newborn, and wrote again to Mrs Longbottom that Neville's father's old wand was really out of repair, the old bell on Ollivander's door rang out crisply. With a sound, a group of people and a huge figure squeezed in.

A mellow witch hurried forward to hug Gwen in her arms, stroking her - this reminded Gwen of George's gesture of comforting her.

"Good boy, you must be terrified. And support a store - I told George eight times, you should go to the Burrow and live with us." Mrs. Weasley said excitedly , patted Gwen up and down as usual, "You little kids can't take care of yourself at all, look you're thin again—"

Mr. Weasley tapped his wife on the shoulder before Gwen could greet them. "Thank you, Molly. But Tonks lives in the store almost at night, and I'm fine now. And someone has to sell wands."

Molly seems to have decided that Gwen is forcing a smile, and can't wait to pack her back to the Burrow immediately and feed her seven meals a day. She barely spared Gwen after Mr. Weasley's repeated reassurances.

"Honey, we're running out of time," reminded Mr. Weasley.

Mrs. Weasley looked anxiously at a list after hearing this, "I think we'd better go to Mrs. Malkin's robe first, Hermione needs a new robe, Ron's school uniform. It's too short, the wrists show a lot, and Harry must need to buy new clothes too, you're growing too fast--well, let's go--"

"Molly, it's not appropriate for all of us to go to Mrs. Malkin's robe store." Mr. Weasley said, "Why don't the three of them follow Hagrid, we can go to the Lichen Bookstore. Go and buy everyone's textbooks, okay?"

"We still need to polish the wand." Hermione said suddenly, looking at Ron and Harry, and the two boys nodded cooperatively.

"I don't know what to do," said Mrs. Weasley annoyed, apparently in a dilemma between wanting to finish shopping quickly and not wanting everyone to separate. "Hagrid, You feel-?"

"Don't worry, they'll have no problem following me, Molly," Hagrid reassured, waving his trashcan-lid-sized palm gracefully. Mrs Weasley didn't seem entirely relieved, but kept everyone apart. She hurried to the Flourish Bookstore with her husband and Ginny, while Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid stayed at the wand shop for the time being.

Olivander's cramped surroundings were too stuffy for Hagrid, and he told Harry without hesitation that he was waiting for them outside the door.

Gwen used the Flying Charm to summon a soft cloth that automatically gave the trio's wands an unwanted polish.

"Don't make me cry." Gwen looked at the three of them warningly, "Don't console me either, I'm working now."

Harry and Hermione were at a loss for words. Ron scratched his hair for a long time, and said, "Alas, Fred and George don't give me a discount, I'm their biological brother. These two miserly scumbags in dragon skins."

Gwen burst out laughing, Hermione and Harry giggled, and the dim wand shop was rarely full of laughter.

"We wanted to chat with you about Mr. Ollivander, but we didn't have much time." Hermione said, wiping away tears.

"According to my family tree." Gwen pulled out a wooden board out of nowhere, as if she wanted to check at any time, and bluntly reported safety, "He is still alive." Gwen Point to a thick olive branch above his name and say.

All three breathed a sigh of relief. Gwen had wanted to remind Harry about the twin cores, but felt that telling him would only add to the annoyance. So she lowered her voice, "We can talk about this when we get back to school—like the old place above Kim Galleon." Gwen understood the concept of the Ministry of Magic sending a car to **** Harry himself, so he didn't want to be in the opposite corner. Lane say more.

Ron saw something through the wand shop window: "Harry, am I dazzled? How are Malfoy and his mother sneaking around?"

After a few seconds, he walked to another window, and there was only one figure left in the picture just now. "Looks like he dumped his mom," said Ron.

Harry said nothing. He was thinking nervously. Narcissa Malfoy herself certainly didn't want to let her precious son out of her sight. Malfoy must have worked hard to get out of her grip. Harry knew and hated Malfoy very well, and he knew that nothing good was going to happen here.

He turned to look, and outside the glass window, Hagrid was standing with his back to them, monitoring the situation on the street.

"Come on, come in." Harry said, pulling out his invisibility cloak from his bag.

"Oh—is this okay, Harry?" Hermione asked hesitantly, looking in the direction of Mrs. Weasley's at the Bliss Bookstore.

"Come on!" said Ron. "Gwen, cover us."

She hesitated for a second, then shook her wand quickly and opened the hidden back door of Ollivander's shop, "Go from here, remember to come back from here later!"

And then somehow, Gwen made Ollivander's dirty glass even more foggy. She stared at Hagrid's back and wondered why Draco Malfoy was heading in the direction of Knockturn Alley.

The last throbbing before school starts

It had been ten minutes since the Invisibility Cloak trio had sneaked out, and Gwen could see Hagrid looking back from time to time to confirm their situation through the foggy window.

This is probably the third time this year that she regrets not learning magic, especially Transfiguration - if Professor McGonagall is here, she will be able to conjure Harry, Ron and Hermione with a chair appearance. And Gwen could only talk to himself and pretend to add tea to a few people, conjuring up three dark figures standing there, repeating "No, thank you." and "Haha, really like a puppet in Ron's voice. ?".

Hagrid looked into the room twice in ten seconds, and Gwen was sure he must be suspicious, after all the three strange shadows barely moved. She was already thinking about what excuse to use to get Hagrid's attention.

"George, George, dear!" Gwen ducked behind the wand shop counter and pulled out the retractable ears in his pocket. "Help! I need you to help me delay time - at least five minutes." He looked anxiously at the back door.

Just as Hagrid's hand had reached the doorknob, and the bell on Ollivander's door made a shocking ding-dong, Gwen's long-awaited voice came from outside the door.

    "Hi Hagrid." George greeted cheerfully.

    "Fred? Or George?"

George jumped abruptly, hooking his long arms around Hagrid's high shoulders, "It's me, George. Mom was there just now, I couldn't find you." Then he faced There was something mysterious in Hagrid's ear.

"Really?!" Hagrid exclaimed in surprise in his low timpani-like voice, "Let me see that poor little fellow."

"It hasn't hatched yet." George took something out of his coat pocket and furtively handed it to Hagrid. "We wanted to keep ourselves in the joke shop, but it was a bit of a hassle."

"Of course it's troublesome!" Hagrid carefully held the two things in his palms, exhaling joyful heat from his nose, "Its singing will make those who hear it lose their senses...only Being put on a Silence Charm... People have to get a permit to keep them, and they have to perform an Enhancement Charm every month." Across the door, Gwen felt Hagrid couldn't put it down.

George patted Hagrid's arm generously, "Old Chuck said they were orange or pink."

"If you're still at Hogwarts, I'll deduct a point for Gryffindor." Hagrid was shaking his beard happily, "Look at this, the brightly patterned eggshell, At least it's just lime green."

George sounded stuck, "Well, before I regret it, Hagrid, put it away."

Haggler squeaked, "Of course you'll regret it, what a beautiful color. Good boy, George, I always thought you and Fred had a bright future..."

Finally, with the click of the back door, three people in invisibility cloaks squeezed into the wand shop.

Ron and Hermione kept fighting, and Gwen could only whisper to Harry what they saw.

"Malfoy ordered something at Borgin-Bock." Harry also whispered, "He's got something to fix...and one that I hope the store keeps for him..." He barely had time to say so much when Hagrid interrupted him.

"Forgive me, George, Harry they've been here long enough." A huge hand pushed open the door. The half-giant Hagrid was obviously relieved to see Harry and the others inside, and then urged them to leave the wand shop and hurry up to buy new clothes at Lady Malkin's robe shop.

After a few little wizards said goodbye briefly, the bell rang again, and George was in
