94 Diagon Alley

Chapter 80: Festival

Conversation. Harry said that Dumbledore's speech at the school leaving banquet seemed to clear his mind all at once. They talked ardently about what Dumbledore would do now to prevent Voldemort from making a comeback, until the lunch cart came over.

The compartment door was pulled open.

Malfoy took a step into the cubicle, looked at them slowly, a trembling sneer at the corner of his mouth, and said slowly, "Potter is Dumbledore's favorite boy again. very impressive."

    "Get out," said Harry.

"You lost from the start, Potter! I warned you! I told you to be more careful with your partners, remember? That was your first visit to Hogwarts. God, when we met on the train? I told you not to hang out with these bastards!" He shook his head at the Weasleys and Hermione, "It's too late, Potter! Black! The fiend is back, and they're the first to die! Mudbloods and Muggle-lovers first! Next—step two—Digory's—"

It was too late, as if someone had set off a box of fireworks in the compartment. The dazzling light from the spells from different directions pierced Harry's eyes, and a series of crackling sounds almost deafened his ears. He blinked and looked down at the floor.

Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle lay unconscious in the compartment door. He, Ron, and Hermione were all standing, and the three of them had used their different poisons at the same time, and it wasn't just the three of them.

"We want to see what the three of them want to do." Fred said solemnly, then pretended not to stand on his feet, and stomped Gower hard. His wand was in his hand, and so was George, but he stomped on Malfoy on purpose.

"What an interesting effect," said George, looking down at Crabbe and Goyle, "who used the Hairy Charm?"

    "Me," said Harry.

"What a coincidence," said George happily, "I used a soft foot spell. It seems that the two spells cannot be mixed. He seems to have little tentacles all over his face." Then he Looking at Gwen, whose wand was still smoking, "Honey, what spell did you use?"

"I think you still don't know," Gwen shrugged a little embarrassedly, "Probably on Malfoy's body, where he can't usually see, I added a few tattoos to him. ."

As soon as he finished speaking, Ron pounced on Malfoy's clothes. Gwen and Hermione quickly turned their heads. "Okay, I'll tell you. I wrote the Weasleys and Long Live the Weasleys and Long Live Potter."

The whole compartment laughed, although a few boys were still eager to see the real thing.

In the end, George had only a teaspoon of sanity: "Well, let's not leave them here, they're not pretty decorations."

Ron, Harry and George kicked and pushed and rolled, bringing the unconscious Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle to the outside hallway, then went back to the cubicle and pulled the door again superior.

After a while, Harry made up his mind and decided to ask them for clarification. "So, can you tell us?" he said to George. "Who are you blackmailing?"

"Oh," said George sullenly, "that thing."

Gwen also woke up like a dream, "So you were eavesdropping that night."

"Nothing," Fred said, shaking his head impatiently. "No big deal. At least it doesn't matter now."

"We've given up." George said with a shrug.

But Harry, Ron, and Hermione pressed on and at last Fred said, "Well, well, since you really want to know... it's Ludo Bagger. Man."

The twins told three curious little brains how they were deceived by Bagman and failed to collect debts repeatedly. And the love-hate relationship between Bagman and the creditor goblins.

"Finally he's betting on you, man," Fred said to Harry. gambling."

"Oh, no wonder he's always trying to help me win!" said Harry. "Okay—I did win, didn't I? Can he give you your gold back?"

"No!" George shook his head and said, "The goblin is just as bad as he is. They say you're tied for first place with Diggory, and Bagman is betting that you're big. Total victory. So Bagman ran for his life in a hurry. As soon as the third project was over, he ran away."

This episode aside, the rest of the trip was very enjoyable. Ron invited Harry to the Burrow as a guest during the holidays, as usual, and if Sirius didn't pick him up within two weeks, the twins and Ron were willing to go to the Dursleys again to **** Harry himself, "but this time you have to call They fixed the sealed fireplace!" George complained loudly. Gwen also said she could help, but Hermione was about to put her disapproval on her face.

In the blink of an eye, the Hogwarts train was at platform nine and three quarters. The students started to get off the bus one after another, and the corridor was chaotic and noisy again. Ron, Hermione, and Gwen walked out of the cubicle with their suitcases, straddling Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle, sorry, but Gwen might have kicked them a few times. But Harry didn't move.

    "Fred-George-wait."

The twins turned around. Harry opened the box and took out the prize money he had won in the Tournament.

"Take it," he said, shoving the bag into George's hand.

    "What?" Fred said, dumbfounded.

"Are you crazy?" George said, pushing the bag back to Harry desperately.

"No, I don't," said Harry. "Take it and keep inventing. It's an investment in Weasley's magic tricks."

"He's going crazy," Fred said in an almost panicked voice.

"Listen," Harry said firmly, "if you don't take it, I'll throw it away. I don't want it, and I don't need it. But I need some laughs. We Might all need some laughter. I have a feeling we're going to need more laughter than usual soon."

"Harry," George said softly, weighing the bag of gold coins in his hand, "there are five hundred gold Galleons in it."

"Yeah," said Harry, smiling, "think about how many canary cookies it's worth."

The twins stared at him blankly.

"Don't tell your mother where the money came from...though she's not so keen on getting you into the Ministry now, think about it..."

"Harry..." Fred had more to say, but Harry drew his wand.

"Take it," he said with a stern face, "or I'll cast a poison spell on you. I know a few great spells now. Do me a favor, okay? Do you? Buy Ron another dress robe and say you gave him."

Without waiting for the twins to say a word, he left the cubicle, turned and walked past Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle. Malfoy and the others were still lying on the floor with the marks of the curse on their bodies.

Gwen was waiting for George on the platform, intending to say goodbye to him. But what she was waiting for was a guy with erratic feet and a dreamy expression.

George paid no attention to Mrs Weasley, who was a few steps away, leaning over to give Gwen a deep hug, and then kissing her three times hard and loud. And whispered into her ear, "I want you to come to our house in the summer too. Keep in touch, Gwen."

Gwen stared blankly at the Weasleys' retreating backs, and then met old Ollivander who was looking at her with interest.

Merlin, did she forget to tell Garrick her love news in the letter all year?

    Summer of 1995

Gwen has to admit that when she returns to her familiar and crowded 1 Diagon Alley, both You-Know-Who and his lackey are left behind. Garrick doesn't seem to be planning to go out and find new materials for his wand this holiday season, and is preoccupied with being with Gwen.

The witch who experienced O.W.L.s learned several superb housework magics during the review process, so after returning home, Gwen opened a corner in the shop with great interest, intending to personally help the old Austrian Mr. Levander cooks a great meal.

"I'm so touched." Garrick sat at the dining table with tears in his eyes, his silver eyes swept over the dishes.

Gwen herself was very embarrassed, her nose was still stained with the bottom of the pot, and a pair of eyebrows had disappeared suspiciously.

"Stop comforting me, Garrick," she said gloomily, "this lamb chop was overcooked," - actually burnt, "soup thick" - inside The flour was clumped together, "even the potatoes were salty." - a layer of fine salt granules hung on them. "I should stay out of the kitchen for the rest of my life."

Mr. Ollivander hurriedly gathered the plate in front of him and ate it with gusto, as if he were enjoying the best of Diagon Alley's delicacies. "This is very good, child. I'm so old, what else can I do?" Said the old man trying to drink a mouthful of soup, "This is the best enjoyment for me. already."

Gwen was really worried about Garrick's health, so he grabbed it and ate half of it. "I promise," the little witch stretched her neck and swallowed hard, swearing, "I will definitely improve my cooking skills!"

In the days that followed, Garrick passed Gwen shakily and casually, and asked, "How is your little boyfriend? Are you writing to him?"

    "Dear Gary
