Back For My Daughter

Chapter 202 - You Changed So Much Little Qi!

As the door of the house was opened, Ye Qian walked out while he closed the door with the least sound.

He walked to the gate and walked to the road.

He then walked on the road after taking a glance at the "Beggers" sleeping on the road as his lips curved into a smile.

He nodded and then left to the road on which he had walked with Yuan Meng and Ning Wei in the morning.

Whistling a small note of the song he heard just yesterday which he liked a lot, he walked with light steps on the road.

After walking for about 5 or so minutes he glanced around a few times as a ferocious glint flashed in his eyes.

He tapped on the road with his right toe and in the next moment, he vanished like he was never there at all.

__________

Meanwhile, as Ye Qian walked on the road.

Behind him, within the house.

Grandma Yan was standing by the window of the house looking at Ye Qian as he walked by the road.

"Now he is completely different from what he used to be."

She said while tears dripped down the corner of her eyes.

"My Little Qi, how come you changed so much in just these 5 years, not even your mom is able to recognize you if it were not for your behaviour, and do you feel so much distanced with me that you would even hide something from me."

She mumbled as she saw Ye Qian's figure was not seen from her eyes and even his shadow was not visible under the road.

"Yan, what are you doing at his time, didn't the doctor say you must sleep early, it had been already late."

Grandpa Xiao called, seeing Grandma Yan gazing out of the window for so long.

"Sniff..."

"Hmm"

Grandma Yan nodded while she wiped the tears off her eyes.

She turned back to Grandpa Yan with her usual smiling face and slept beside him.

"I know Yan, you want him t always be in front of your eyes now that he has returned but you must not think much about it, he would not leave again, have faith in our son."

Grandpa Xiao sighed while Grandma Yan sat on the corner of the bed and rested her back on the bed.

"Huh, weren't you the one who was angry with him and now you are coercing me to not be sad about him?"

Grandma Yan was taken aback as Grandpa Xiao sighed while helping her with the blanket and pillow.

"Dear, I can't be biased with one, though I do care for him, but haven't we seen how much our daughter-in-law, suffered when he went missing and we still don't know what was the reason behind his disappearance."

Grandpa Xiao continued to sigh as he glanced at the small photo frame which had four people in it.

In it there was a lady in her mid 20's was sitting in the middle with two people and on both her sides while she held a small baby of about 5 months old in her hand.

The two people were of course Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao, while the lady in the middle was Yuan Meng as she held baby Little Qiqi who had a smoother in her tiny fingers as she held it in her small mouth while trying to bite it.

Grandma Yan also glanced at the photo and a small smile appeared on his lips but there was also slight sadness in her eyes.

"You are right, but Little Qi is trying as hard as he could to overcome what he had missed to do and wants to do the duty of being a nice father since he was unable to see Little Qiqi's childhood."

Grandma Yan said while taking Grandpa Xiao's hand in hers and holding it tightly.

"Hmm."

Grandpa Xiao nodded and then rested his head on the pillow while slowly closing his eyes.

"You must also sleep now; it's been already late to your regular time."

He said with his eyes closed and covered himself with the blanket.

"Hmm."

"Don't say that, I feel much better now, see my child has come back now all the small diseases will run away."

Grandma Yan giggled while closing her eyes and went to sleep.

"I am content with what everything now."

She thought as she went into a deep sleep with a soft smile on her lips and a serene expression.

What they didn't know was, as the two rested in their body many small changes were occurring.

Most of the small injuries which had been caused to Grandpa Xiao while farming had also recovered completely now.

While Grandma Yan's skin was turning smoother and tight with every second that passed and her hairs which had turned silver were also turning back to grey and then dark brown.

But the most noticing and different change was that the small knot-like thing in her spine had also started to decrease by now.

But while all these changes were taking place in their bodies much were to worth noticing, since though her skin was getting like some young woman it was not much compared to before but if one were to compare Grandma Yan from today morning to now they would be shocked for sure.

__________

Meanwhile, as the various changes were happening in Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao's bodies the one responsible was these nice changes, Ye Qian was standing in front of a small abandoned factory.

The small factory was all just a kilometre away from the city, it seemed like it was near to the dump yard and so no one would usually come here.

Ye Qian glanced at the place carefully and found some oddness in it.

He narrowed his gaze and could see some cameras were hidden carefully at some corners of the factory and some poles.

The cameras were so small that people would need to search for hours if they wanted to find anyone of them.
