Back For My Daughter

Chapter 312 - I Am Happy That You Are Fine!

Meanwhile, as Ye Qian and Yuan Meng sat on the two-seater sofa of the luxurious room of Aunt Qin's food court.

A few hundred kilometres away in the city of Beijing.

A mansion surrounded by a few hectares of open space and garden.

The mansion could only be considered as a luxurious world in itself.

But there was a gloomy silence filled in it.

Though one would be able to know that there were many people in the mansion who either seemed to be busy with their own work, while others were doing some of the other work, it still gave one a gloomy vibe as if the moment they entered the mansion they would be covered in sadness.

By the large balcony of the second floor of the mansion.

A lady who seemed to be in her mid 20's was staring at her mobile with red eyes and shivering lips.

Her body continued to tremble once in a while as she bit on her lips and some tears would run down her cheeks.

Even her grey gown appeared to have turned moist and was sticking to her skin.

One would definitely feel sad after seeing her condition.

She seemed to be crying for a long time as even her eyes appeared to be swollen from it.

She wiped her tears with her palms which had a small paper in them.

It seemed like a newspaper but that was not what mattered.

The newspaper seemed to be pretty old.

While wiping her tears off her sight landed on the newspaper and a bright smile appeared on her lips all of a sudden.

Anyone would be taken aback if they were to see the sudden change in her emotions from being extremely sad to that of being extremely happy in just a blink of an eye.

But there were still tears falling from her eyes and that would give them some relief.

She placed the phone in her left hand by the small table and opened the small piece of newspaper.

The Date at the corner of the paper was a bit blurred since it was old but the month and year appeared to be a bit clear enough for one to read.

December 2016.

The newspaper was no more than the size of a palm and seemed to have been cut apart from the whole newspaper as if it was a very important piece of information.

The headline was.

"A Person vanished in the Valley of Dragons and Phoenixes."

The woman glanced at the headline and then with a pleasant smile tore the paper into tiny bits and below it in the air.

"FFFFUUUUUU"

The air was already blowing a lot faster as it wanted to say that there was something big that was about to happen or wanted to make people aware of the upcoming catastrophe.

"FRRRR"

The tiny bits of paper vanished in a few moments in the vast surrounding with the help of the heavy blowing wind.

The woman stayed there while looking at the surroundings with a pleased smile on her lips.

She looked completely different from that of her previous state when she was crying like a little girl who had been hurt really badly.

"So you have returned to them, I am still happy that you are fine."

She looked at the sky and mumbled in a light voice with a passionate smile but her eyes were closed as if she was remembering something from her memories.

After a few moments, a tear dripped down the corner of her closed eyes but she quickly wiped them off and turned around.

"I am happy that you are alive, and I will always wish for you to be happy with her."

Saying that she entered her room with a different outlook on her face.

It seemed like she had let go of something which was stuck in her heart for a long time.

But when she entered the room through the corner of her eyes she looked at a small box which was kept by the head of her bad.

The box was wrapped in a gift wrap and was placed neatly and it was not opened yet.

She sighed and walked to her bed and sat at its corner and carefully took the box with her trembling hands.

A few hairs fell on her face and she held her head low while she brought the wrapped box near her chest and clutched it tightly and started to cry again.

"SOBBB."

"SNIFFF"

"SNIFFF"

In the bright afternoon, a few small birds also appeared by the balcony and entered the room which was still open as the lady didn't close its door.

"CHIRP CHIRP"

A few sparrows looked at the woman who was crying and sniffing for a long time and trued to each other in confusion.

They looked at her again and one of them flew by the woman's head and chirped.

"CHIRP"

"CHIRP"

Hearing the sparrow, the woman looked up and noticed that a few birds had come in her balcony and many were looking at her in confusion.

She didn't understand what this was but then the sparrow which had come near her flew on her hand and pecked on the wrapped box.

"Huh?"

The woman looked at the sparrow in confusion and raised her brows high.

This box was given to her by that man on her birthday which was the last birthday which she had celebrated when she was happy.

She could clearly remember that day.

She used to study with her cousin at her school.

Though her cousin was a couple of years older than her, they both really loved and treated each other like real sisters.

She always felt that her cousin was very nice and even though she had lost her mother and in their whole family it was only she and her grandpa who would always treat her as a family while others gloated on her.
