Back For My Daughter

Chapter 316 - He Came For Me!

"How can my birthday be happy with you here."

Ji spat while cursing under her breath and a feeble smile.

She sighed and lost all hope that her cousin sister would come to wish her at the party.

It had already been so late and in just a minute or so she would have to cut the cake and let the party start, but none of this mattered to her, if she was not able to celebrate her birthday with her Big Sis then she won't feel like she had even celebrated her birthday.

Even if she were to celebrate her birthday with her with just a simple cake and a few friends it would have been so good for her, she remembered that the last year her Big Sis celebrated her birthday in a similar manner and the two went to an amusement park that day and the day before, she was surprised by her Big Sis and her friends.

But this place filled with hundreds of astounding figures and a cake which was even heavier than she still made her think that none of this gave even a tiny bit of pleasant happiness to her than what her Big Sis did for her last year.

She continued to stare at the small bubbles which were popping on the surface of her wine with her eyes gloomy and lips pursed.

She was about to tear up while feeling sad when she heard a commotion at the entrance of the hall.

At first, she thought that it might be because of some brain dead donkey young master who was looking for trouble in order to show off, and so she didn't have the interest to even glance at the entrance as she was already sad enough that no joke or commission would attract her attention.

She was already disheartened by the fact that her Big Sis who was always on her birthday with her was not there this year.

She gloomily looked at the entrance of the hall with the corner of her eye completely uninterested in even studying what was happening.

"So it's just an idiot who is messing with the guards by the entrance."

She mumbled with her lips pursed and again placed her head on her hands while about to start looking at the tiny bubbled in the wine.

She was about to start them counting when she heard a familiar voice which made her heartbeats speed up.

"He came on my birthday!"

She quickly stood up and was about to rush to the door but was stopped by a voice.

"Cousin Ji, where are you going to, come its time for you to cut the cake and celebrate your birthday."

She didn't need to look around in order to recognize the person to whom this voice belonged.

How could she not recognize that hateful and vile fellow whom she had to call her cousin?

She gritted her teeth and turned only to see that as she had thought, it was the same person, he was surrounded by many of the young masters of this city who wanted to lick his feet in order to get acquainted with him.

She spat a few curses under her breath which would have made anyone puke blood if they were to hear those words.

No one would believe that this young woman who would curse so many bad words came from a big family which was powerful and well respected throughout the whole country.

She forced a smile on her lips and then turned to him and continued.

"Cousin, let's see what's wrong there, I don't want anyone to be get beaten on my birthday."

She seemed to be telling that she didn't want to have any harm befall anyone in case they had come here just in order to wish her for her birthday.

But only she knew what she was thinking in her heart.

She felt her heart tighten and was worried that the person whom she was waiting for so long would suffer a lot if he were to go against her family's bodyguards.

She understood that they only knew that there was nothing bad for them even if they had to beat someone to death.

To them, nothing mattered more in comparison to someone's life.

She was already worried that with the behaviours of that dumb guy he would only hit an iron sheet if he were to be stopped by their guards.

That guy was just too much of a simple-minded, even she didn't understand how did he even had the courage to even propose to her Big Sis.

She was even afraid that he might have done something that might have angered the guards.

There were no simple guards which were stationed at the entrance, they would not even faze a bit even when they were hit by a bullet in their arms, they were just like some army veterans who were like death soldiers.

"Ohh so cousin doesn't want some pesky life to be lost in vain, it's quite a fortune of that person, I must say."

Her cousin said in astonishment but there was a scornful smile on his lips as he showed pity.

Ji quickly understood that there was no time for her to waste before something were to happen to that dumb guy.

Less when that guy was her Big Sis's boyfriend now and he was something more than that to her as well.

She didn't even answer at the evil smile of her cousin and rushed to the entrance.

Many people around were also who had a smug look on their faces but many were deeply puzzled as to who was the person whom she was so much worried about.

She even rushed in order to help that person.

And of the most interested people, there were 2 who were even more interested to know who the person was.

The first was Ji's cousin and the other was Young Master Le of Shenzhen City.
