Back For My Daughter

558 A Different Kind Of Parent!

As soon as her name was called, Xiao Ya's heart skipped a beat.

Unknown to her, her eyes were already welled up with tears.

She didn't want to disappoint her Dad as he had come to receive her for the first time.

She was not afraid of the teacher scolding her inf front of her father, but the thought that her Dad would feel sad after hearing her behaving like this during the class.

But little did she know that Ye Qian would never feel bad for things like such.

Studying, was just a matter of a couple of years, there was no need for his daughters to even go to school.

Would the knowledge from Earth even matter for a bit in the Heavens?

Then why care about the simple nursery poems and alphabets which the schools would be teaching them.

With the knowledge he had, Ye Qian would easily be able to compare with the greatest doctors on Earth without any degree or formal education from any of the Medical Colleges.

It would not be a lie to say that Ye Qian might even be able to treat the diseases which were considered to have no cure in the history of Humankind.

And considering that he was thinking of taking all of his family along with him to the Heavens, whether his daughters learn anything even mattered?

The education in the world of cultivation was drastically different when compared to that on Earth.

Here, there were certain subjects that one would find no use in the future of practical life.

As for the education in the world of Cultivation, every moment you lived in it was a new lesson for you.

Who could be a better teacher than life?

Every step he had taken in the Heavens was a test that would either result in him getting ahead or the only result of failure was death.

Of course, this didn't mean that Ye Qian would allow his family to suffer in the dark side of the world of cultivation, he would pave a way for them.

But it should not be too easy for them or it would not be any better than those subjects which were thought on Earth and were useless in life later on.

Just having knowledge was of no use, one needed to know how and when he or she should be able to use it for the welfare of themselves.

If now then his disciples would not be revered so much in the Greater Heavens.

A part of the reason behind it might be because of them being his disciples, but he clearly knew that they had attained all the strength with their own hard work and great will.

Ye Qian glanced at Xiao Ya, whose eyes were filled with tears and sighed.

"This little girl, no matter how naughty you are, you are still so frail."

He glanced at Miss Nan, Xiao Ya's class teacher who had her palm on her mouth and had coughed out.

It was obvious that even she was amused with the way in which the young man had walked out of the crowd.

Of course, she was going to complain about this little girl, Xiao Ya to her father.

But the sudden behaviour of this young man made her amused as well as confused at the same time.

Amusing because this was the first time when she had heard a parent doing such a childish thing, and confused as to why would someone act like this despite knowing that it would be so embarrassing given the number of people in the surrounding.

'Is there a specific reason for him to behave like this in front of everyone despite even knowing that it would be very embarrassing for him?'

She thought but then shook her head.

There was no way that in the current world, someone won't care even a bit about their face.

And Ye Qian's actions were enough to lose him a lot of face.

Of course, she knew that the young man was Xiao Ya's father.

She had heard the gossip in her class for a long time today, how would she not know and then again there was the little girl fawning about her Dad in front of all of her friends.

"COUGH COUGH"

"Mr Luo, would you mind if I take some of your time, it's about Luo Ya."

Ye Qian smiled wryly, it was the second time in the day that his name was changed.

First, it was by Little Jia's teacher and then it was Xiao Ya's.

But Ye Qian couldn't care any less, as he simple nodded and gently smiled at Xiao Ya who was looking at him with a guilty look.

"Thanks."

Miss Nan nodded and then held Xiao Ya's hand lightly and then continued while looking at Ye Qian.

"I am very disappointed with this child's behaviour today, usually she would be very silent and I would be worried about her, but today it was completely opposite."

The little girl gripped her teacher's hand with her utmost strength wanting to stop her.

"Miss..."

"Let me tell about you to your father."

But she could only stay quiet after hearing the stern voice.

"Sniff sniff..."

The little girl heard back from tearing up and looked down.

"This little girl was talking to her friends all day, I don't know what to say, I hope you can tell her a few things, studying is important."

Miss Nan paused here and then sighed lightly while stroking the little girl's head.

"You are a good girl, so you should focus on your studies."

The little girl nodded while her head was still low.

One could see the trail of tears running down her cheeks and then to her chin as it finally fell on the stairs.

Ye Qian sighed in his heart and nodded to the teacher.

"Yes teacher, I will tell Xiao Ya to be good."

"Thanks."

Miss Nan nodded while deeply regretting complaining to the little girl's father.
