Little Jia glanced at the blue butterfly necklace which looked rather cute and beautiful on her and held it tightly.

"It's fine, there is nothing to be afraid of right now."

Seeing that the little girl appeared frightened, Ye Qian gently stroked her head.

"Hmm."

After nodding, Little Jia looked at Ye Qian and started telling him what had happened.

How she was called out by her teachers and then the snake and how it had fooled the little bird and almost attached her and the necklace forming a blue light around her and how the little bird flew away with the snake.

Ye Qian sighed after hearing all that the little girl had to say.

It could be said that with Snake about to become a Spirit Beast, it had started to gain some intellect as it was smart enough to fool the bird as well.

It had to be known that even if the little bird was a Phoenix and had enough power to even crush Ye Qian, it had the intellect as that of a small child not older than Little Jia.

And given that the World Of Pridid was always peaceful, it might have never faced something like this.

So how could she know the basic instincts of a wild beast who had gained intellect which was already far superior to that of those simple beasts in the jungle?

Hearing what had happened once again, Xiao Ya, this little was shocked.

She had thought that the snake might have just been resting on the tree and thus had left after some time and that was why the scale was still there.

Children these days watched infotainment and thus had a basic knowledge of the behaviour of animals.

And the little girl had always believed that the animals would never attack anyone unless they were forced to, but here Little Jia had not even seen the snake but it still wanted to harm her.

"That snake was a real baddie, really really bad, I am very angry at it."

Xiao Ya yelled while pouting in annoyance.

"Yes."

'It indeed is a baddie, it even cheated our Little Bird."

Little Jia said while gently rubbing her thumb under the little bird's neck.

Usually, the little thing would purr after being tickled on her neck, but now, she only looked down as if too ashamed to do anything.

"Little Bird, you should not be sad, Jia doesn't blame you."

Noticing the sad little bird, Little Jia urged.

"It's indeed right, you should not think that you did anything wrong."

Seeing that the bird had lost all of its cheerfulness, Ye Qian couldn't help but say.

He couldn't see the little bird in such a cheerless way.

Hearing his words, the little thing peeked her tiny head towards his and looked with puppy eyes.

Even if it sounded weird that a Bird was looking with Puppy eyes, it was indeed true.

Ye Qian extended his hand and picked her off Little Jia's shoulder and patted her head gently.

"You know, sometimes you can't change what has happened, but since it already has, then there is no other way but to accept it and don't think about it or feel sad about it."

Ye Qian said as the little thing looked at him with sadness.

"CHEEP"

She chirped lightly and nodded.

"Now, where is our Little Bird who is always happy, or should we go and eat some sweet delicacy."

As if she had suddenly been revived, the little thing chirped in delight and drew a circle around Ye Qian as soon as she heard the words.

"SWEET DELICACY"

After chirping a few more times, she landed once again on Little Jia's shoulder and pecked her beak on her cheek.

"Hehe, hehe, ahh, it tickles."

Seeing the two finally were back to being cheerful, Ye Qian smiled and saw that they had walked to the market in the meantime.

Xiao Ya's grandfather's shop appeared busy as always as people went in and out of the shop while carrying bags of meat.

"Papa, are we going to leave Xiao Ya with her Grandpa?"

Noticing that they were near Xiao Ya's Grandpa's shop, Little Jia asked since Xiao Ya also had her bag.

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded while Xiao Ya said.

"I miss Grandpa and Grandma very much, but Big Sister, I will come tomorrow."

The little girl seemed to be sorry as she said with a sad face.

"Ohh, it's fine, they will also be missing you."

Little Jia nodded and smiled.

By the time the two little girl's stopped talking, the group had walked to the shop and stood in front of it.

Ye Qian pushed the door and then walked in followed by Little Jia and Xiao Ya in his arm.

"Grandpa, did you miss me?"

As soon as they entered, with a cheerful voice, the little girl called out noticing Old Mo busy at the counter.

Upon hearing the sweet and completely familiar voice, Old Mo turned to the entrance in a moment and laughed out.

"Hoho, I thought that you might have already forgotten about this old man and your old grandma."

Although his words appeared as if he was joking, his eyes said otherwise.

His eyes were moist as he saw Xiao Ya's cheerful smile.

It could be said that spending the whole two days without their only grandchild had been really hard for them.

It was as if no matter how much time it went, just even a second was like a whole hour for the old couple.

He had even been threatened by his wife that he should get their granddaughter back or she might not make food for them.

Old Mo of course was threatened, but he still urged her that their little granddaughter would definitely be very happy with teh young couple.

And of course, his words had turned true, he had never seen his little granddaughter so happy in a long time.

It could be said that he had even forgotten when it was the last time he saw her so happy.
