Back For My Daughter

789 Roller Coaster Of Emotions

Wang Jin who had just sobered up after losing the final hope of curing his father was shocked to hear the words coming out of his phone's speaker.

"What did you say, Uncle Guo?"

"Well, after getting his photo from my friend's mall, I used a few networks of mine in the Police Department to search for this person and ask about his details."

"But the guy is said to have died about 5 years ago in an accident after falling into the valley of Dragon and Phoenix."

Mr Guo seemed to not be able to believe himself as to what he was speaking.

And this was also why he didn't quickly call Wang Jin to say that he had found the doctor's whereabouts.

At first, he was also shocked to see the details that he had received from the person he asked to get the information and thought he was joking and thus called him again asking if the information was real.

But after giving a few documented proofs, Mr Guo knew that there was no way that someone would try to make a fool of him given who he was.

But nonetheless, he was also not able to believe the person he was searching for was registered as dead in the files.

And he didn't dare doubt this since this was not some information from some secret service but a Police database.

"But, Uncle, didn't you say that you saw him a few days ago?"

Wang Jin asked with a frown.

"Yes, of course, I did and I even have proof."

Mr Guo nodded, how could he not believe if the person who was said to be dead had not only been seen by him but even talked to him for a moment?

He was sure that he had not seen things and nor was there any need for him to.

"Alright, I suppose that Uncle should have got his address and other details about his family, I will need to ask for Uncle to do me a favour."

Wang Jin nodded.

Although he could not understand what kind of nonsense was going on, but he was still relieved that there might still be a way for his father to be cured.

"You don't need to worry about that, but I think that it's too late right now and the people might have fallen asleep."

Mr Guo nodded.

"SIGH, alright, I will have to trouble Uncle for this, if possible then bring him to our place so that he can cure Dad as soon as possible."

Wang Jin urged.

If not for Mr Guo's words, he might have already asked for his driver to get the car and rushed to Star City in search of the Doctor.

"You don't need to say that, Old Wang is my friend, and I also have something to do with the doctor."

Mr Guo nodded and then ended the call.

Meanwhile, in the mansion, Wang Jin sighed while shaking his head and glanced at his father who was lying on the bed.

As for the elder nurse and Doctor Lang, they didn't know what they were seeing just in front of their eyes.

And that was because this Young master Wang had been through a roller coaster of emotions in just these few minutes of the call.

First, he looked to be ecstatic as if he had heard the happiest news and then he looked shocked and lost all hope in his life.

And then shocked again and then sighed.

This sudden change of emotions was not something that the two were used to.

Although they had seen many relatives of the patients in great worry and crying for them to help them, but this was the first time they had seen someone going through so many states of emotions in just a short while.

After ending the call, Wang Jin looked a bit less worried and walked out of the room.

Meanwhile, the young nurse walked to the two of them and asked.

"What about us, that guy probably left to sleep."

Hearing her words the elder nurse nodded, although she didn't like the behaviour of this young nurse, it was not wrong to say that they had been paying attention to the patient all day and they were also tired nonetheless.

"Let's wait for some time, the second shift should be coming in a while."

The doctor nodded and walked to the monitoring divide beside the head of the patient and noted the vitals and other signs on the pad.

Meanwhile, in another mansion by the Star City.

"Wenwen, did you do as I asked you to?"

A mature lady asked as she finished her dinner and wiped her lips.

"Yes, Mom, I asked for the recruitment department to post hiring for the Supervisor of the Chemical factory at the east of the city."

A young woman in her late 20s nodded as she sipped onto the glass of water.

Of course, the two were Li Zhiyun, the former CEO of Han Industries and her daughter, Han Xiaowen, the current CEO of Han Industries.

"I posted it yesterday and the applications will be received tomorrow."

Han Xiaowen continued.

"Hmm, that's good, we need to remove the few pawns that your Uncle has placed in the company to not take the command under them, if I am not wrong then he will try to do something or the other now that he has been slapped in front of everyone."

Li Zhiyun nodded with a serious look.

Right after the meeting, she fired a few people which were under the wings of Han Lao and could be said to his dogs so as to not cause trouble for her daughter while she tried to handle the industry with great effort.

"Wenwen, first I wanted to drag you out of this so that you could enjoy your life, but now I think that it is better for you to learn things early."

Li Zhiyun sighed while shaking her head.
