Chapter 460: 37. Richard's hiding place

   Chapter 460 Thirty-seven. Richard's hiding place

The leader of the Old Rum Gang was replaced by Big Rum more than ten years ago - he is the eldest son of Old Rum.

However, because of the brain disease caused by Big Rum's childhood fever, the Old Rum Gang is still managed by Old Rum and his youngest son, Little Rum.

When the little boss with a **** face and two broken fingers led Lu Li to the bedroom on the second floor, old Rum was lying in the blanket by the fireplace, enjoying the service of his younger son's leg beating.

"So you made the movement downstairs just now?" Old Rum held his pipe, squinted his eyes slightly, and observed Lu Li and his bruised-faced men in front of the door through the rising smoke.

   "Senior investigator Lu Li."

Lu Li took out the three-eyed black crow badge, old Rum should recognize this thing.

"If you showed this thing earlier, those little brats wouldn't have the guts to offend you." Old Rum sighed, the rising smoke fluttered forward, and scolded the little leader: "Go back down and let the brat who offended the guests bandage it. Good wound, take off all your clothes and go to stand outside for an hour!"

"Yes……"

The little boss withdrew and limped out of the room.

Old Rum winked at a strong man beside the door, the latter understood, exited the bedroom and closed the door.

Old Rum sat up from the soft wool blanket, and the little Rum who beat his legs voluntarily took off his pipe: "Your Excellency Exorcist, I don't know what you are doing with this gang?"

   "About Richard." Lu Li replied.

"A name from a long time ago." Old Rum's old cheeks full of ravines and wrinkles revealed a look of reminiscence.

Lu Li was indifferent to this, and said calmly: "It's been so long that you still remember him and helped him some time ago."

"Just a trivial...help" Old Rum smiled indifferently.

   "Tell me the specifics."

"Of course... of course. I almost grew up watching Little Richard, and then he wanted to go to other places to develop and I let him go. Later I heard that he was beaten into a madman by others in Watch Town? How pitiful …”

Old Rum said a lot of things that Lu Li already knew, Lu Li listened calmly, and waited until he talked about more secret information.

"...Little Richard escaped from the outback not long ago, and found a gang brother to help him hide himself, and he is being arrested by the police. You know, slums have always been synonymous with chaos and crime, hiding dirty Ugly is the easiest thing to do. So the gang guy found him a place to hide."

"Where is he."

"Those who know where Little Richard lives should be among the little brats you taught me, meat!"

Old Rum shouted hoarsely outside the door.

The strong man went back and forth, taking down Old Rum's instructions: "Go down and call for the gold coins to come up."

"Yes."

The strong man retreated, and soon after, the sound of approaching footsteps sounded in the corridor outside the door.

A thin, blood-stained, but not seriously injured gangster was brought in.

He glanced at Lu Li and shrank in a corner away from him in fear.

The scene below is enough to be the biggest shadow in his life - if not a bigger shadow.

Old Rum raised his eyes and looked at the gold coin of the only promise: "Tell Your Excellency the Exorcist where Little Richard lives."

Gold Coin did not dare to look directly at Lu Li, Yu Guang carefully observed and hesitated: "That was my best brother ever..."

Old Rum shook his head lightly: "If the police, the old Rum Gang, approves of you doing this, but this is the official exorcist, I think you understand what this means."

   Exorcist?

Golden Coin finally understood why Lu Li had that kind of weird and terrifying power.

He stammered: "At No. 138 Black Cat Block...the Ruin Block is on the west side. If the police catch him, it's easy to escape."

   "Thank you for your information."

Lu Li nodded, turned around and went downstairs without much pause.

"No... You're welcome..." Jin Coin said in a daze, then suddenly turned to look at Old Rum.

Old Rum waved at him, and the gold coin hurriedly ran out of the bedroom.

"He's cheating on you." Little Rum handed his father a pipe again.

"I know." Old Rum opened his mouth to hold his pipe, pointed at Little Rum and Big Rum, and said, "Remember my children. Just as you looked forward to respecting those police officers when you were a child, now you should look forward to respecting them too. Exorcists. They are doing their best to save our world."

"So, keep some respect for this group of moths that are rushing towards the fire."

"My father..." Little Rum, who was in his twenties, said seriously.

"I will respect the exorcist as your father." Big Rum, who was always silent, replied honestly.

Old Rum's pipe in his mouth began to tremble.

  …

"I don't think Richard is still there."

Back on the carriage, Lu Li took the reins, and Anna's voice sounded in his ears: "He knows we are looking for him, and he knows that the clue of the old Rum Gang will be discovered sooner or later."

"Yeah." Lu Li nodded lightly, and drove the carriage away from the entrance of the tavern. There were also a row of frightened expressions under the wall, who dared not look directly at Lu Li, and only wore shorts to punish the meat sticks.

"You think so too?" Anna's voice was surprised.

Lu Li replied, "Always give it a try. If he didn't leave by luck, we would save a lot of trouble."

  …

Lu Li once passed by the Black Cat Block in the previous battle: when he went to the Ruin Block to receive the heritage of the beak mask figure.

Because it is near the ruined block, it was hit by the fire that once burned the entire block, and it has not eased up to now. Residents are barely half full.

Not only the black cat block, but most of the streets near the old warm block share the same fate. Coupled with some rumors that have spread recently: as midnight approaches, the long street of ruins will envelope the pungent burning smell and flying snow-like ashes, making the surrounding streets even more desolate.

Anna gently picked up a "snowflake" that fell on the carriage, the drizzle fell, wrapped the "snowflake", and condensed into a drop of gray sewage.

"The rumors seem to be true."

Ana said, looking at the looming ruins at the end of the street ahead.

It is indeed much more desolate than the streets that come along the way, and there are very few pedestrians on the road.

"The trouble is here, and the exorcist will fix it."

United will not sit back and watch the weirdness show up in Belfast.

138 is on the edge of the Black Cat Block, very close to the Ruin Block. When approaching, Lu Li stopped the carriage and motioned for the plainclothes policemen who followed behind the carriage to surround the perimeter of No. 138.

Richard is just an ordinary person, and the police are enough to keep him from escaping.

  嘭——

The floor trembled, and the wooden door flew out with debris flying backwards. Lu Li walked into the wooden house No. 138 under Anna's shelter and looked around.

The firewood was still burning, a phone and jumbled notes sat on the desk beside the humble bed, the suitcase rested at the foot of the bed, and the window was open.

Richard, who was hiding here, seems to have just left.
