Chapter 747: Thirty-eight. Ghosts

   Chapter 747 Thirty-eight.

In the weakly swaying carriage, the clay figurine with a crude body staggered to his feet.

The mud villain whose clay and mud color are obviously inconsistent grimaced at Lu Li and screamed: "You are a good person, but I still want to scare you! Wow!!!"

Its movement was too big, the unbonded arm fell off the shoulder, and the silt villain hurriedly picked it up and pressed it back on the shoulder.

"Don't be scared, we have to get out of here right away."

Lu Li said calmly while holding the silt villain.

"why!"

"Your companion said to let the eldest sister teach me a lesson."

The silt villain looked like he was thinking, his crude arms without details rubbed his chin.

"Will you help us?" Katerina asked cooperatively.

"No! Wait for the eldest sister to teach you a lesson!" The silt villain screamed and replied, jumping from Lu Li's palm with a series of low voices, running to the edge of the carriage and jumping off.

"I know where there is high-quality clay." Lu Li suddenly said.

The mud man who had just jumped out of the carriage quickly grabbed the edge of the carriage, revealing a humanistic desire: "Where!"

"Midnight City. But I was targeted by my eldest sister, and I couldn't return to the town if I found it."

The carriage suddenly jolted, and the silt villain was thrown away, leaving only the shrill shouts getting further and further away.

"I'm going to look for the eldest sister!"

"Will it fall to death?" Lu Li frowned, ready to call the groom to stop again.

"This is not its body, and this elf will not die..."

A hissing whisper resounded in the carriage.

Lu Li looked at the answering spell hunter: "Elves?"

"These little guys are elves... the elves of ghosts, don't you know?"

Lu Li turned back and looked at Katerina, she was confused.

"I don't seem to know... Could it be that you are the heir of an ancient family?" The woman giggled, her dark yellow eyes lit up with insect-like greed: "Or a noble in a small place...?"

"We come from Tango Town, which is very remote." Katerina replied cautiously.

"Ghosts" sounds like a division of weirdness, Lu Li wanted to know more, but this woman was not a suitable person to communicate with.

Lu Li still held a pool of mud in his palm. He stretched his hand out of the window to shake off the mud, but there was still some dark mud on his hand.

"It's just mud, just smear it wherever you want." Katerina said to Lu Li, who spread her palms.

   "Can use it..."

The spell hunter handed him a handkerchief. The crawlies under her robes crawled towards the handkerchief along her skinny palms.

"no need."

Lu Li refused, and reached out to Katerina to smear the silt on her clothes.

"Don't worry, the handkerchief is clean and the kids won't run around..."

Apparently the "children" she was talking about were bugs on her.

"thanks."

Lu Li took it before the reptile climbed onto the handkerchief, wiping the mud in his palm.

"Ghosts and monsters... This is our division of them around us." With the sound of poisonous snakes, the voice of the spell hunter sounded in the carriage.

Ghosts and spirits are not the division of weirdness in weird times—or rather, it coexists with the four systems of evil spirits, evil spirits, weirdness, and evil gods, and does not conflict.

It is based on the original foundation of the four major systems, but with one more premise: coexistence with human beings.

Weird times, the line between humans and weirdness has become increasingly blurred. In addition to the thirst for pure-blooded humans, completely hostile to weirdness, and wanting to return to the old glory of Wiener's ice-free port, many towns acquiesce in some harmless weirdness to exist in the town.

And these monsters are classified as ghosts and ghosts.

   "Ghost" represents an illusory and insubstantial weirdness such as a soul, usually in the form of a human, such as a ghost;

   "Spirit" represents the elusive and real weirdness. The difference from "Ghost" is that "Spirit" does not have a fixed form, nor is it a human form;

  “Jing” means familiar things have life, such as a living house, a talking painting, or a ghost in a ghost town;

"Monster" means monster. Such as Creep Horse, such as Ampere, such as Xenomorph and Xenomorph.

Ghosts are similar to spirits, and spirits are similar to monsters, so when it is difficult to distinguish them, people are accustomed to use ghosts or spirits to describe them.

The reason why Katarina doesn’t know about ghosts is simple: Tang Ge Town is in the center of the dark field, far away from the town group, and it is relatively tough in dealing with weirdness.

And the key point: Katarina struggles to survive and has no time to know these things that don't fill her stomach.

In addition to ghosts, Lu Li also wanted to know what the spell hunter represented.

Because Katerina's fear never disappeared, it reached its peak when the woman asked for the handkerchief back.

"We've already soiled it. How much does it cost, we'll buy it." Katerina pressed Lu Li's arm nervously and said to the woman.

Can you cast a curse or spell on the mysterious side?

   Lu Li thought.

"Buy? It's my...favorite handkerchief..." A dangerous hiss sounded.

Perhaps because she was too nervous, Katerina made an impulsive action.

She grabbed the handkerchief and threw it out of the carriage, her body taut, facing the spell hunter: "We will pay you!"

   "Compensation...?"

The woman's dark yellow eyes blinked through the film, staring at Katarina coldly like a viper. The delicate doll climbed down from her legs and walked stiffly towards Lu Li and Katerina.

At this moment, a dark shadow descended from the sky. Lu Li had time to react, but let the shadow fall on him.

An indistinguishable scream of fear, the delicate doll seemed to meet a natural enemy, and fled back to the spell hunter, burying his head and shrugging his ass, shivering outwards.

The    woman also showed deep fear, fell into silence and dared not look.

The source of the spell hunter's fear is a double braided puppet with a hideous mask standing on Lu Li's leg.

"It's you who bullied the duo!"

Behind the mask, a child-like shrill cry from the voice-changing period came out: "You're still deceiving Clay!"

"Midnight City does have high-quality clay." Lu Li answered the question from "Big Sister".

It is bigger than the pranksters everywhere, and the palm-like height makes the eldest sister's head well deserved.

Big sister's head suddenly came close to Lu Li, and a sniffing sound came from behind the mask.

"You smell so good!" She seemed to have changed her mind. "I don't believe you...take me to Midnight City!"

Before Lu Li could answer, the hideous mask turned to the stunned Katerina: "And you... pay the price!"

An indescribable chill surged beside her, and Katarina's eyes suddenly lost focus, as if she had fallen into an indescribable delirium, trembling with fear.

   "Stop."

Lu Li frowned and grabbed the head of the eldest sister who had done something to Katarina with her left hand.

   "Release! You hurt me!"

The eldest sister screamed, struggling to slap the back of Lu Li's hand with her powerless little hand, and was forced to withdraw the released power.

Katarina snapped back to her senses, gasping for breath as a drowning man surfaced.

   "What's wrong." Lu Li asked.

"Many, many terrifying visions..." Katerina's cheeks were extremely pale, and fear remained: "I didn't call it out just now."

"It's okay to shout, we're almost out of town."
