Fire Mage

Chapter 341 - Isla

Chapter 341: Isla

But just as Charles was about to walk towards his next destination, an invisible power came from the sky and suppressed him!

Not only him, but all the citizens of Miner's Den city felt this invisible power.

It was the power of Dominance!

Charles hurriedly looked upward and soon saw a Red Dragon encircling the city!

Charles also sensed strange power scanning his body and soon disappeared.

'The Red Dragon already knew that I came here?' He was startled a little.

'I need to get out of this place. If I was in my original appearance, the Dragon might have found out about me. I'm not strong enough to face a Rank-5 Creature head-on.' He thought to himself and waited for the dominant power to disappear.

After a few seconds, Charles noticed that everything returned to normal and breathed out a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, the whole city went into chaos!

Cries and shouts of Night Goblins, Red Humans, Orcs, and other races continued to echo all over the place.

Charles even saw that many iron armored Red Human guards came from the opposite side and told all the panicking citizens to return to their houses.

'It seems I need to wait for a while.' He also returned to Tebs's Igloo house and waited.

A few hours later, the twilight came, followed by mild darkness!

Although the two suns in the sky were nowhere to be seen, the city appeared bright as ever because of the light from the embers, the Lava Ocean, and the nearby volcanoes.

Charles waited for another hour in the igloo house and then walked out.

After that, he locked the rocky door and started walking on the street road.

It looked more like a dirt path than a concrete road. Charles walked past many houses and soon arrived in front of 10 meters tall Igloo house. The house was so vast that it could hold ten ordinary Igloo houses inside!

It was the largest house in the whole Red Human district!

Charles even saw many Red Human guards stood at the entrance and guarded the house.

'It seems this Isla isn't a normal prophet.' Charles also used the 'Fore Warning' skill to see any danger but ended up failing.

After some thoughts, he finally gave up on meeting her and disappeared from there.

The next second, he reappeared out of the city, looked in the opposite direction, and soon saw a dense forest filled with strange fire-elemental plants, trees, and shrubs.

'Savage Forest…' Charles also saw a lone path moved deep into the forest and continued to walk.

From Tebs's memories, he learned that he needs to cross more than five territories to reach the border of the Twilight Land.

But crossing the border wasn't an easy thing. There was a large valley that separates the Twilight Land from the rest of the Elemental World.

It's called 'Blood Valley.'

There was a unique race live in this land. It's called 'Blood Bees.'

These bees were faster, and their needles were strong enough to penetrate strong metals.

They were capable of absorbing enemies' elemental fire energy and could even kill a Rank-4 in minutes.

But to make things worse, the space in that particular area was sealed and prohibit anyone from using any teleportation-related spells or skills.

'It seems I need to think of a method to counter these bees.' Charles thought to himself and continued to walk.

He could've used [Flame Teleportation] spell or fly spell to cross this forest, but he didn't dare underestimate the Red Dragon.

'I'll go by walk for now.' He thought to himself.

Meanwhile,

In the Miners' Den City.

A Red Human girl descended from the sky, moved towards the Red Human area, and soon landed in front of the largest Igloo house. She had crimson hair, amber eyes and looked around 130 to 140 cm high.

She wore a luxurious silk cloth and held a strange scroll in her hand.

She was none other than the Dawn Child, Isla!

Currently, her face was filled with confusion, anxiety, and a strange fear.

It was the fear of the unknown!

Upon seeing her arrival, the guards who stood at the entrance knelt on the ground and bowed their heads.

Meanwhile, she waved her hand and fastened her footsteps towards the large house.

Within a few seconds, she arrived in front of the house, opened the door, and walked in.

The interior was much larger than a mansion house and was filled with gold ores, crystals, and many pieces of furniture made of rare materials.

She hurriedly moved towards the right side wooden box and opened it.

A blue crystalline orb appeared in front of her eyes.

She then carefully took out the orb with both hands, placed it on the ground, and started to chant.

Unlike the Scar Language, the words that came out of her mouth appeared completely different!

After a few minutes, she ended the chant, made a small wound on her finger, and let a drop of blood on the orb.

The next instant, the bluish orb shone brightly and then revealed an image of a Red Human.

The red human had short carmine hair, light coral eyes, a round face, a little fat body with a small belly, and he appeared around 175 cm high.

He wore handmade fiber clothes, earrings and looked tired.

Upon seeing the Red Human's image, confusion on her face deepened!

"A Red Human? Isn't he the one who gave me Bubble Crystal? What is the meaning of this? What is his relationship with the strange portal and the invisible anomaly?" She muttered in confusion.

After some thought, she placed the orb back into the wooden box, locked it, and started walking out of her house.

After that, she ordered the soldiers to go and look for the Red Human.

Then, she released her wisdom power, rose from the ground, and flew towards the dark sky.

Within a minute, she flew above the cloud, closed her eyes, and released her full wisdom power.

Simultaneously, her body began to enlarge.

Reddish scales appeared all over her body, and soon she formed into a figure of a Red Dragon!

'I went to the Savage Forest to check on something, but… What is this something? How did I forget about it? What is the link between that portal and the Red Human merchant?' Countless thoughts whirled in the Red Dragon's head.

But strangely, she forgot about the invader from the other world!

In truth, she had been observing Charles for the past 18 years!

At first, she thought that a foreigner would bring chaos to this land and thought of eliminating him.

But Charles didn't move out of the Savage Forest and stayed there silently.

Once she learned that the invader had no plan on making a large-scale invasion, she left him alone.

But a few hours ago, she coincidentally bumped into him and thought of checking out his strength.

To her shock, he actually managed to stand against her!

At that moment, she knew that this guy had already grown powerful!

Without any delay, she made up her mind and thought of eliminating him.

Unfortunately, Charles manipulated the space, created a portal, and escaped.

Not only that, but he also erased his existence from everyone's mind.

Currently, she didn't even a thing about him nor about his sudden rise in strength!

A frustration appeared in the Red Dragon's mind.

She then opened her mouth and let out a roar!
