Harry Potter and the Legend of the Temple

Chapter 240: Concern from Astoria

"Why did Dumbledore come to you?"

"Well, actually it's nothing, just some things about the Triwizard Tournament. As you know, I am a Hogwarts warrior..."

"Then why not call him Harry?" Hermione didn't seem to believe what Louis said as they were having breakfast at Hogwarts.

"Maybe you have more confidence in me?" Louis said vaguely, Hermione is not that easy to fool.

"You are too confident, Louis." She shook her head at Louis and hit his head with the spoon in her hand. "You have to know how dangerous the Triwizard Tournament is. Even Durmstrang and Booth Barton’s two seventeen-year-old students are not sure.”

"Okay, Hermione, I know." Louis couldn't resist her questioning, "Things are not as simple as you think. Dumbledore and I are indeed solving a series of troubles, but this is a secret and I can't tell you yet."

Hermione glanced at him again, without saying anything else, picked up the textbook from the table and rushed to the first class of the fourth grade today.

She was just worried about Louis' personal safety. After all, according to the past practice of the Triwizard Tournament, no one died, and the two great warriors of Hogwarts were actually her friends. This made her anxious.

Students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang joined the Hogwarts learning army. The students they came were all seventeen-year-old students, so they were divided into sixth grade and seventh grade according to their grade.

In order not to miss this year's studies, they transferred to their respective grades. Each grade had a translator provided by the British Ministry of Magic.

The only exception was Gabrielle. Although she was only twelve years old, she completed the two-year course with excellent results in her first year at Beauxbatons, so she was eligible to choose the third-year course.

This surprised Professor McGonagall, who had to choose courses for her. You know, although the academic pressure at Beauxbatons is not as high as that at Hogwarts, the whole Hogwarts would probably be able to complete twice as many courses as ordinary people in one go. Only Hermione from last year could do it.

. . . . .

"Subaru, you put the wrong material. This is the hair of a porcupine, not the tail of a phoenix. Is the head on the butt?"

"McNoff, clockwise, clockwise, not counterclockwise!!"

"And you, Creevey, you are not allowed to whisper in class. Five points will be deducted from Gryffindor."

In Potions class, Snape was still ruthless, dragging his black robes between students.

"You have to know that in two years you will take the O.W.Ls exam. With your level, I can only give you a T."

Professor Snape's requirements became more and more strict, and even the Slytherin students who usually took good care of him complained constantly.

"It's really crazy. Aren't the exams still in two years?" Corrinche guided the dragon root in his hand. "Is it because the Slytherin students are angry because they have not become warriors and are deliberately trying to trouble us?"

Lewis didn't listen to Colin's words. He raised his head and looked in the direction of Astoria.

The white-haired girl was dealing with the sleepy bean in front of her, cutting it left and right with a knife, looking a little absent-minded.

When Snape wasn't looking, Louis snuck up to Astoria.

"Do you need my help?"

"ah!"

The girl seemed to be frightened. She held a knife in her right hand and made a cut on her left index finger.

Fortunately, there was not much movement, and the students in the classroom were all focused on the crucible in front of them.

"It's all your fault." Astoria looked at him reproachfully, her eyes full of grievances, and blood slowly flowed from the wound.

Lewis didn't think much, he took Astoria's injured little hand and put it to his mouth.

"You...what are you going to do?"

Under Astoria's shocked gaze, Louis sucked on her wound in order to relieve her pain.

"The sleepy beans are poisonous, you can't simply make a healing magic." Louis spit out the sucked blood and said, "Fortunately, the wound is not deep, otherwise the consequences would be disastrous."

He looked at Astoria's dazed face, and found that her fair face was gradually covered with flushing, and she suddenly pulled her hand back from Louis' palm.

"Healed as before."

She tapped her finger with her wand, and the wound disappeared as quickly as it could be seen with the naked eye.

"What's wrong?"

Lewis seemed to find that Astoria's eyes were a little lonely.

"Nothing. By the way, congratulations on becoming a Hogwarts warrior."

Although she said this, there was some worry in her tone.

"Are you worried about me?" Lewis squeezed out all the juice from the sleepy beans and put it into the crucible.

"There's a reason why Dumbledore didn't let us participate. I asked my dad about this project. It's very dangerous..."

The two of them were responsible for mixing the potion in the crucible, and Astoria was stirring it inside as she spoke.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Louis assured him, patting his chest, "And it doesn't necessarily mean I won't be able to pass."

"But you..."

"If my life is in danger, I will definitely give up." He smiled, "I'm not willing to die like this. After all, there is such a beautiful lady caring about me."

"You are the only one with a poor mouth..."

Hearing what Lewis said, Astoria smiled, and her face couldn't help but relax a lot.

"One more thing." She suddenly turned around and looked at Louis with a half-smile, "You and that French girl..."

Before she could finish her words, the door of the dungeon teacher was opened, and Professor Flitwick, the headmaster of Ravenclaw, walked in with a very beautiful French girl.

"Professor Snape, a student of Beauxbatons, she is in third-year Potions class today."

Severus Snape walked forward quickly. He stared at Gabrielle for a long time, and then said in a tone that he would not usually use and was already very gentle to him:

"Okay, find an empty seat and sit down. This is Slytherin, and this is Gryffindor."

Her arrival attracted the attention of all the students present. Even the boys were a little eager to get Gabri to come and sit next to them.

"Professor Snape, you can give her my seat. I can just sit here." Louis gestured to Snape, but he didn't seem to agree.

"Don't try to challenge my bottom line, Wiggins." Snape said with a straight face, "Besides, whoever allowed you to change seats privately will get ten points from Gryffindor!"

"No, Professor Snape, it's me..."

Louis grabbed Astoria's lapel, motioning her to stop talking, and then returned to his seat dejectedly under the gazes of the students.

"I don't know about this young lady..."

"Delacour, Professor." Although Gabrielle's English is not good, her voice is like an angel, "Gabriel Delacour."

"Okay, Miss Delacour." Snape pointed to the empty seat next to Astoria, "You can sit over there. Okay, everyone, continue to prepare your damn potions."
