Harry Potter: The Path of Destiny

Chapter 19 Black Friday

"What? You were almost caught by Filch in the prize showroom last night?" Nydia learned the truth about last night at the restaurant during breakfast the next day.

"Yes, that Malfoy kid is so abominable. He must have told Filch the secret." Ron said angrily.

"But Malfoy also went there himself. If he informed Filch, wouldn't he himself be arrested?" Nydia couldn't believe it. Did he really think that his father would be fine if he was a school director? So in this lose-lose way?

"He didn't go. I guess he didn't really intend to come over to duel with me." Harry said.

"No, he went. I followed you and met him yesterday." Nidia said.

"Are you following us?" Harry asked in surprise.

"Yes, but to be precise, it should be about ten minutes late. I was blocked by the Fat Lady. You were not there when I arrived. I thought you were persuaded by Hermione to go back halfway." It turns out that I arrived late. Within ten minutes they met Filch.

"He actually went? I can't believe he really went to the appointment. Maybe he just wanted to hide somewhere and watch us get caught!" Ron said.

"He told me that he was going to an appointment. He also said that you didn't go because you didn't have the guts to duel with him." Nitya said.

"What? How dare he say that! Since he really wants to duel, I think we can make an appointment with him again!" Ron was dissatisfied that he was looked down upon by Malfoy.

"I think I need to remind you." Hermione suddenly appeared behind Ron and Harry.

"Are you eavesdropping on us again?" Ron was very impatient with Hermione's appearance.

"I hope you won't forget the lessons learned last night. Maybe you won't be so lucky next time." Hermione ignored Ron's emotions at all and left after saying what she wanted to say.

"How could there be such a nosy person?" Ron complained.

"Is Hermione talking about how you were almost caught by Filch last night? How did you escape?" Nydia asked curiously.

"We did escape Filch, but we encountered something even more terrifying! A big dog with three heads!" Now thinking back to last night's adventure, Ron no longer had the fear he had at that time, but instead felt more fearful. excited.

"A big dog with three heads? How could there be such a creature in the school?" Nitya asked in surprise.

"It's the corridor on the right side of the fourth floor, the place where students are not allowed to enter." Ron became more and more excited as he talked, and seemed to be eager to take another risk.

"Oh my god! You violated two school rules in one night!" Nidia spoke a little loudly out of surprise, and when she realized this, she immediately covered her mouth with her hands.

"We have gained something. I think I know where the thing that Hagrid took back is placed." Harry said mysteriously.

"Are you still thinking about this?" Nidia didn't understand why Harry was so persistent on this matter.

"I can't help but wonder what kind of thing would need to be so closely guarded," said Harry. In fact, he couldn't explain why he cared so much about this thing.

"I think it's either extremely valuable or extremely dangerous," Ron said.

"Or both," Harry said.

"But in any case, you have now confirmed that this thing is safe, right! There is a monster guarding it!" Nidia felt that this matter should not be their concern. "Maybe we should go to class. We don't have much time. Don't forget that we have two Potions classes this morning."

Potions class is still recognized as the most difficult class for all students. Almost everyone has been reprimanded by Snape. Only Malfoy occasionally gets some praise. Everyone thinks this is because Snape is partial to finding excuses for his own school. Add points.

"Miss Field, am I sure you added enough absinthium infusion? The effect of the life and death charm you brewed is twice as weak." Snape asked Nydia.

"I...I added two drops, sir." Nydia was very nervous. She realized that the number of times she and Harry had been criticized by Snape combined might be the total number of times for the entire class. She had tried very hard to memorize these prescriptions, but there were still some omissions.

"Two drops? Do you have a problem with your eyesight? Take a good look at your notes!" Snape poked the notebook open beside him with his finger.

Nitya looked carefully, Oh my God! It was actually six drops. She took a total of four drops less, no wonder the medicine was so less effective.

"Sorry, Professor, I made a mistake." Because she slept too late last night, Nidia was very tired throughout the morning and could not fully concentrate.

"I don't think you'll remember it without some punishment," Snape said. "Starting from today, you will come to my office every Friday afternoon to copy the prescriptions until I think you can remember them well."

"Yes, Professor." Nydia was heartbroken. Two Potions classes on a Friday were already difficult enough, and now she had to face Snape's cold face even in the afternoon.

During lunch time, Nydia was so depressed that she had to go to Snape's office to copy prescriptions in the afternoon and couldn't eat at all.

"Have you heard of Black Friday?" Michelle asked Nydia.

"What Black Friday?" Nydia was confused.

"In the Muggle world, people call Friday the 13th Friday Black Friday. People will be particularly unlucky on this day." Michelle explained to Nydia, "But today is not the 13th. Unexpectedly, today is not the 13th." You are so unlucky."

"I think every Friday from now on will be Black Friday!" Nidia said. "Why are you telling me this? Do you think this will have any comforting effect on me?"

"Of course it's not to comfort you. Do you think it would be effective to comfort you in this situation?" Michelle shrugged, as if Nidia was asking for your own blessing.

"Don't you think this is a good opportunity to improve your grades in Potions class?" Hermione on the side suddenly interjected. Nydia discovered that she did, as Ron said, like to eavesdrop on other people's conversations.

"Maybe if you think about it as Hermione said, you can feel a little more relieved." Michelle said. "Actually, your grades in Potions are not bad. The potions you make every time are much better than many people. There are several times when the effect is not inferior to Malfoy's. I think Snape is deliberately trying to find trouble with you. "

Harry had thought Snape hated him before. Nydia now felt that Harry was wrong, and the person Snape really hated should be herself. At least he never punished Harry for going over to copy prescriptions after class.
