Harry Potter: The Path of Destiny

Chapter 62 The Snake Whisperer

When they came out of the prize showroom, the three of them were already exhausted. No one wanted to say anything more. They just wanted to go back to the dormitory quickly and have a good rest. But not long after they walked out, an annoying voice stopped them.

"Hey! Isn't this Weasley? I heard that you spit out slugs in front of everyone today!"

Pansy walked over with a proud look on her face. Draco was not far behind her. He looked at the three of them and then turned his head to the side. He had no intention of coming forward to talk. They were also walking with them. Goyle and Crabbe in Slytherin.

"Are you still vomiting now? I really want to see it!"

Pansy said to Ron in a mocking tone, but Ron was too tired now and he had no energy to talk to Pansy. Seeing that Ron didn't respond, Pansy turned to look at Nitya again.

"Hey! Nydia! Are you accompanying Weasley in confinement? You are so considerate! I didn't expect that the relationship between you two is so good! I thought you and Harry Potter would get closer. !”

Pansy's eyes flickered back and forth between Nydia and Ron, and then she secretly glanced at Draco's reaction. However, none of the three people she followed gave her any reaction. At this moment, Nitya and Ron just hoped that Pansy would finish her sarcastic words quickly, and then they could go back to the dormitory to sleep.

"I said Miss Parkinson, what else do you want to say? Say it once and for all!" Michelle said impatiently.

Pansy was obviously a little surprised by everyone's reaction, and Michelle's words made her don't know how to deal with it. How could she say the words she prepared without anyone's cooperation?

"If it's over, then we'll have to excuse you."

After saying that, Michelle stopped talking to Pansy and walked towards the lounge, followed by Nitya and Ron. Draco obviously had no intention of coming over to say anything to Pansy. When he saw Nydia and the others leaving, he turned around and left, leaving Pansy standing there alone in embarrassment.

"Pansy is really as brainless as ever!" Michelle shook her head and said after walking away.

"I just want to go to the dormitory and sleep now." Ron said with a yawn.

"Tear them all to pieces!... It's not enough... I want more... more..."

Suddenly, a cold and vicious voice suddenly woke up Nidia, who was already a little drowsy.

"What's wrong?" Nidia's sudden behavior of looking around caught Michelle's attention.

"No! It's nothing!" Nidia remembered that the sound was the snake's sound she heard last time, so Michelle and the others couldn't hear it. "I suddenly remembered that I need to add some new ingredients to the potion I brewed tonight. You guys should go back first!"

"What? Do you want to go to Snape's office at this time?" Ron looked at Nydia in disbelief.

"Yes, otherwise my whole pot of medicine will be ruined again!" Nidia winked at Michelle and motioned for her to take Ron back first.

"Then you go quickly! Snape may punish you in some way if you suffer too much!" Michelle received Nydia's hint, "Ron, let's go back first! There's nothing we can do to help anyway." busy."

"Sorry Nydia, I'm not as smart as Hermione, so I can't help you!" Ron said apologetically.

"It's okay, go ahead! We'll be back soon." After saying that, Nidia turned around and ran in the direction of the sound.

After she followed the sound for a while, the sound disappeared again. She tried walking around the surrounding area, but she never heard the sound again. From last time to this time, she couldn't see where the snake was. She just felt like it was crawling inside the wall, but she had never heard of any snakes that could pass through walls!

Nidia remembered that the last time she tracked the snake, the sound finally disappeared in the women's restroom in Myrtle. She hesitated whether it was necessary to go there again to check the situation.

"What are you doing? Why don't you go back and rest?"

Nydia was thinking about the problem seriously, and the sudden voice startled her. She turned around and saw that it was Draco whom she had just met, but he was alone now.

"I...I thought you were still angry with me!" Nidia said nervously.

"What's the use of me being angry?" Draco felt a little helpless, "I just want to say sorry to you. I shouldn't have yelled at you like that in the morning."

"Oh! You make me feel even more guilty. It's me who should be sorry. I know you don't need any means to get into the team."

"The broomstick thing came to my father's attention. He felt that since we are a team, everyone's equipment should be unified, so that no one will hold everyone back because of the equipment." In fact, Draco knew that many people were talking behind his back. Even some people in Slytherin House were questioning this matter. He pretended that he didn't care, so he didn't want to explain too much, but he didn't want Nydia to misunderstand him.

"I believe you, Draco! I was really dizzy this morning before I said that."

"I know, because I said unpleasant things about Granger!" Draco said with some frustration.

"Sorry, I only cared about Hermione's mood and failed to consider yours."

"Forget it! Why haven't you gone back to rest? You look very tired." Anyway, if there was another time, Draco felt that Nydia would still be on their side.

"I...I heard a strange sound and ran over." Nidia answered truthfully. "Why are you here again? I thought you should follow Pansy back to Slytherin."

"No, I have been following you. I want to find a chance to talk to you. I don't know what to say when Weasley is there."

"Have you been following me? I didn't notice it at all!" It seemed that I was really too tired.

"What sound did you hear? I didn't hear anything on the way!" He followed Nidia all the way. If she heard something, then he should have heard it too.

"Maybe only I can hear this sound." Nitya looked around and whispered after confirming that no one was around, "It's the sound of snakes talking."

"Snake!?" Draco was stunned for a moment and then said in surprise, "You are a Parselmouth!"

"Can you keep it a secret for me? My father said it would be bad for me to let others know about my ability!"

"Of course! Did you tell anyone besides me?" Draco said nervously. Parseltongue is a very rare existence even in the wizarding world. Nydia has this talent. It may not be a big deal if others know about it. Good thing.

"It's just you now, but I may tell Michelle later, because this snake seems to be dangerous, and I want to remind her to pay more attention." Nidia said, "I think you can also give a proper reminder. Brace.”

"What did the snake say? Did you see it?"

"I couldn't find where it was at all! It kept saying some very violent words, tearing things up and so on. I was thinking about telling the principal about it, but then I would have to let him know that I can understand snake language. "These traits may have made Dumbledore feel more like Voldemort.

"Let's not talk about it yet! You haven't been able to find its location probably because it is too small and is hiding in a crack in the wall. It is just looking for some mice or something to eat!"

"This is also possible! Now the sound has disappeared again. I hope it went outside the school!" Nidia yawned tiredly as she spoke.

"You are so tired, go back quickly!" Draco said looking at Nydia's exhausted look.

"Well, you should go back quickly!" After saying that, he yawned again. It seemed that I could only talk to Michelle about the snake tomorrow morning. Not to mention that I didn’t have the energy, Michelle might have already fallen asleep by the time she returned to the dormitory.
