Hogwarts: Harry Returns From The Witcher

Chapter 51 Gryffindor, soaring to the sky (third update, please read more~)

The moon was dim and divided into two, leaving a perfect semicircle.

Harry snapped his fingers, and a small flame ignited from the Igni Sign. He stared at the flame for a while before turning back to the lounge.

On weekends, he continued to boil the potion, and he almost never left the dormitory.

On Monday afternoon, there is a Defense Against the Dark Arts session.

Lockhart learned the lesson of last week, and no longer claimed to capture any "evil and terrifying" magical creatures.

Instead, he regards the classroom as a stage for his performance.

He needs a few little wizards to cooperate with him in the plot of the novel—of course, the euphemistic name is "Scene Reappearance".

The eaglets looked disgusted.

They don't want to do such a shameful thing.

The little lions raised their hands excitedly, eager to try one by one.

This startled Lockhart. Before that, even the first-year wizards were not so enthusiastic. Something was wrong, something was wrong! After some hesitation, he finally chose Neville, who did not raise his hand.

This honest and honest Hufflepuff who looked like he had sneaked into Gryffindor made him feel at ease the most.

Neville was baffled and forced to play a clumsy snowman.

The performance was very good, he fully embodied Lockhart's demeanor, and won fifteen points for Gryffindor for the first time outside of herbal medicine class.

The lion cubs surrounded him and left, cheering happily.

It was difficult for the young wizards of the other three colleges to understand why Gryffindor still had such enthusiasm and support for Lockhart after he had already made a fool of himself.

The Weasley brothers even wrote a sonnet in praise of Lockhart.

It's unbelievably nasty.

But Lockhart liked it very much, and praised them for their promise in the future. He also framed this poem and hung it in the classroom for other young wizards to learn from.

until--

When they saw the grade gemstone, Gryffindor was weirdly high, and it was only a week since school started, and they were rushing to score 200 points.

Is it because of Lockhart?

After inquiring, it turned out to be Lockhart, who added more than 100 points to Gryffindor in just a few days.

They found out the reason, and quickly burst out with enthusiasm no less than that of Gryffindor College. Lockhart almost floated into the sky. He really thought that he was loved by the little wizard.

until…

Vice-Principal McGonagall had to remind him not to add points so frequently, and not to add two or three points casually after listening to someone boasting that "Professor Lockhart is really attractive".

Lockhart restrained himself a little.

The little wizards had to rack their brains and come up with innovative compliments in order to get points from Lockhart.

Friday.

Harry returns from detention with Professor McGonagall.

Ron held a piece of colored paper in his hand and waved it excitedly: "Harry, look, the flyer that Wood just came over to hand out."

"Quidditch?" Harry took it.

"The team recruits new players." Ron nodded, "I heard from Fred that now Wood is very worried about how to find a qualified seeker. His hair is almost falling out. Are you going to try it? ?”

In the flying class of the first grade, Harry was still the little wizard who was praised the most.

"You can recommend him to try Potter's hair tonic." Harry suggested casually, "The effect is quite good."

Great Britain is a country with many bald men.

His cousin Dudley, who was only twelve years old, looked like Uncle Vernon, showing faint signs of hair loss.

But wizards are different. It is rare to see sparse hair. Quirrell is one of them, but he is in a special situation. Voldemort is planted on the back of his head. It is not a creature that likes a humid and hair-prone environment.

Mr. Arthur Weasley is one, but he doesn't use tonic, not because he likes bald hair, or because he doesn't want to use...

"He's already using it, but if he can't find a Seeker, he'll have to use it for a long time," Ron teased.

"Tomorrow afternoon?" Harry looked at the time, "I'll be there."

He is very interested in Quidditch.

I didn't miss any of the few games last semester, and I was already eager to try.

the next day.

Harry finished with the lacewings that were still boiling, and ran to the Quidditch pitch with Ron.

Wood frowned.

The performances of the few who came to try out today are very mediocre. Maybe... after some training, they can become chasers and goalkeepers, but they can never become seekers.

"Harry, are you coming to the selection?" Fred was the first to spot them.

"I thought you were so busy that you would miss this." George waved, greeted, and followed suit.

Wood turned his head and breathed a sigh of relief: "Potter, I heard from them that your flying talent is very good, which position do you want to try?"

"Seeker," Harry replied.

Wood nodded: "Have you brought the broom?"

Harry shook his head. He hadn't bought a broom yet. Although second graders could bring brooms to school, they generally didn't have the chance to fly.

"I'll borrow it from you!" Fred was very courteous, "Although it only sweeps the Seven Stars, it is a good broom."

Wood lightly patted Harry on the shoulder: "Go fly and show me."

Harry got on the broomstick, kicked off, and immediately flew into the air——

The wind whistled in his ears.

He rode fast, turning deftly in the air, and after two laps, Wood gave George a look.

George understood, and also rode a broom into the air.

Fred released the Bludger and immediately slammed it at the nearest George. As a good hitter, he reacted very quickly, swung the bat hard, and the Quaffle turned around again immediately, and ran. Hit Harry.

high speed.

But this did not pose a threat to Harry, he easily dodged, and even rode a broom, playing with Bludgers in the sky with ease.

"Okay, Harry, you can come down." Wood rolled his hands into a trumpet, raised it to his mouth, and shouted, "George, remember to collect the Bludger."

Harry landed.

Wood couldn't wait to come over: "You fly amazingly! I heard that you are also very sharp? How about dynamic vision?"

"Not bad." Harry replied modestly.

"Gryffindor needs you." Wood hugged him, "How about it, would you like to join the team?"

"This should be in the library if I don't want to." Harry nodded.

Wood excitedly planned for the future: "The first game is in early November, we have a month to prepare, and we will start training next Wednesday, how about it?"

Harry shook his head decisively: "I'm afraid not on Wednesday."

Wood was taken aback.

"Professor McGonagall's confinement." Harry simply explained, "Actually, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are not allowed. They are the confinement of Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape respectively."

Wood hesitated to speak.

What did he do to provoke two professors...

"You are indeed a qualified Gryffindor." After a while, Wood choked out such a sentence, "Then we can temporarily change it to Tuesday and Sunday, and when your confinement is over, then..."

Harry cut him off: "It might not end."

Wood was taken aback.

Can't end... what do you mean?

"I'm going to be in detention for a semester." Harry said softly.

Wood threw his head back, surprised: "One semester? Gryffindor didn't get so many points deducted."

"You can't tell if you've been deducted points." Fred tilted his head, "Professor Lockhart is very generous to Harry."

"We wrote another sonnet, but only got five points." George nodded. "But Harry gets ten points for answering a question!"

"If I hadn't seen Professor Lockhart date a seventh-year Hufflepuff last time, I would have thought he liked you."

"A date? With a student?" Angelina, another Chaser on the Quidditch team, leaned forward. "Really?"

George nodded earnestly: "Yes, on Thursday night, after curfew, Fred and I went to the kitchen and saw a seventh-year Hufflepuff student enter his office."

"It's only been a few days since school started!" Angelina exclaimed, "And he's still a professor!"

Great Britain's attitude towards "teacher-student love" is conservative.

Wood waved his hand: "Okay, this is not a place to discuss gossip, we should continue to select players."

Seeker is the most important and core position of a team.

But other positions should not be underestimated.

One of the Chasers is graduating, and Wood has to find a replacement.

It was not until the night that Wood reluctantly picked out a few and announced that they would train with the team tomorrow.

As the captain, he has a lot of headaches, and there are many things outside the court that he needs to solve.

I don't know how to explain to Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw that they want to exchange the use time of the Quidditch pitch-"Harry was locked up for a semester", this reason sounds a little ridiculous.

But on Gryffindor, it's not too abrupt.

I'm also a little lucky.

Fortunately... it didn't collide with Slytherin's time.

Training the next day.

Wood tried to free the Snitch, and within ten minutes Harry found him and captured him quickly and without stress.

Training went well.

The only problem is that there is always a dazzling white light flashing on the sidelines.

Listen to Alicia Spinnett, Gryffindor's back-up Chaser, a first-year wizard named Colin Creevey, who has been squatting on Harry for a week and has been wanting to take a picture his photo.

But I have never met Harry, either in the dormitory, in the library, or in the professor's office.

Hearing that Harry was training on the Quidditch pitch this time, he rushed over excitedly.

After waiting for two hours, he was finally pulled away by his friend, but Harry still couldn't wait.

"You should buy a good broom." After training, Wood clenched his fists. "We haven't won the Quidditch Cup for six consecutive years. The last time was when Charlie was around."

"The Nimbus 2001 is the best model."

"Of course, the Nimbus 2000 released last year is not bad."

Harry agreed, he is not very short of money now, a best broom is really necessary.

Go back to the common room.

Harry immediately found the address of the broom shop from the advertisement section of the Daily Prophet, and asked Hedwig to order one for him. The little girl who had just rested for a week was very angry, and it took Harry a while to comfort her.
