Hogwarts: Harry Returns From The Witcher

Chapter 59 What is our Senior Tom doing? (Please follow up~~)

Dumbledore's tone was extremely sincere.

Harry wondered, "Really?"

"Of course, the professors don't have that much energy. They rummaged through every corner of Hogwarts." Dumbledore nodded and smiled slightly, "Besides, this bathroom has been abandoned for fifty years, and there are almost no people there. use it."

"We're not considered perverts breaking into girls' bathrooms now."

Harry walked to the faucet and said skillfully in Parseltongue: "Open."

A dazzling white light flashed.

The faucet twisted, like a snake, and crawled to the left. The root canal pulled the pool, causing it to hum and vibrate, and twisted open, revealing a round door with a hole. Of course, it was more like the entrance of a water pipe.

"It's really here." Harry rubbed his face with a strange expression, "What did my senior Tom do to discover the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets?"

In the dead of night.

When the Ravenclaws started wandering to the Restricted Area.

Hufflepuffs haunt the kitchen.

The Gryffindors were wondering what to do.

Tom rummaged through one girls' bathroom after another.

"Okay, Professor McGonagall will take Mr. Potter back." Snape flicked his sleeves, "This is not where he should stay..."

"No, we still need Harry." Dumbledore interrupted him.

Snape took out his wand and looked at him coldly: "You know what's underneath!"

"But we may still need Parseltongue." Dumbledore took out a thumb-sized crystal bottle from his robe, which contained a light layer of crystal clear liquid, "Don't worry, I'm carrying Fox's tears."

Harry's eyes lit up.

Tears of the Phoenix.

A rare material with a strong healing effect is not on the prohibited list, but even Diagon Alley is not allowed to sell it.

"Harry, would you like some?" Dumbledore caught Harry's gaze.

Harry nodded, "Of course, as payment for being forced to take part in this, how about it?"

Demon hunters have always been "thieves never leave empty space".

"Then it's settled." Dumbledore waved his wand, and the effect of the spell fell on Harry and Snape. He turned to look at McGonagall, "Minerva, please stay here and watch."

Meg nodded.

The three of them burrowed into the pipe, and the spell effect made them swim forward slowly.

"Harry." Dumbledore talked about more information, "I asked Ms. Myrtle, the student who died fifty years ago, and she said that she only saw a pair of yellow lantern-like stuff, and then died."

"Can you guess what it is?"

couple?

That is the eyes.

Yellow, looking at each other is dead...

Harry quickly found the corresponding name in the list of black magic creatures: "It's... a basilisk?"

Dumbledore nodded: "That's right."

"So be careful when you go down, and close your eyes." Snape said, mocking coldly, "Don't stare blindly at your eyes like a mindless troll."

"You don't need to take action."

"Dumbledore and I can work it out."

"Can you keep me the skin, teeth, and spine of the basilisk?" Harry asked.

"As long as you are honest." Snape immediately agreed on Dumbledore's behalf, "Don't cause us any trouble, you can take those useless things back as you like, and play your house-like armor game."

"Thank you for your kindness." Harry praised with a blank expression.

Snape snorted, turned his head away, and ignored him.

They land quickly.

At the end of the water pipe is a natural grotto, damp, dark, eerie silence, without any breath of biological life, only tick, tick, and water drops falling from time to time.

Snape waved his wand and lit a light, illuminating the surroundings.

There are densely packed corpses all over the ground, mostly small rodents, occasionally some fish bones.

"It seems that our basilisk's diet is not good." Harry simply commented, "I have lived for thousands of years, and I can only eat these things, tsk."

With a flick of his wand, Dumbledore rolled up the bones, threw them into the shadows, and walked forward.

Soon they passed a flat field.

Harry stopped.

"What's wrong?" Dumbledore looked serious, and the magic power began to condense in his hands.

Harry gestured: "There used to be something here. It was huge, at least twenty feet long, and had a faint magical aura."

"The basilisk is resting here?" Dumbledore frowned, staring at the flat ground that was almost indistinguishable from other places in his eyes.

"No, it should be snake slough." Harry shook his head, knelt down, and wiped the ground with his hands, "It was just taken away, and the traces are very new, less than a day old."

He looked up at Dumbledore.

"Or rather, at the start of a Quidditch match."

"He guessed that we would find the secret room and made preparations in advance."

"I'm afraid we're going to get nothing this time."

Dumbledore frowned: "This is really not good news."

They move on.

They walked out of the castle area before they came to the end. There was a solid wall with two vivid stone snakes carved on it, and their eyes were made of shining emeralds. The craftsmanship was exquisite, as if they were alive. .

"Open." Harry said the word again in Parseltongue.

Emerald green light flashed in the eyes of the two snakes. They circled and crawled aside, moving the stone wall away, revealing a spacious passage.

Inside is a hall, dim, cold, with a thick and sinister atmosphere.

Is it the smell of a basilisk?

Harry frowned, it was really uncomfortable.

Dumbledore waved his wand, cast a spell on them, added a layer of protection, and walked in alone. After a while, he called Harry and the others: "Come in, it's safe inside."

The lobby is bigger than it looks from the outside.

Thirteen pillars support such a huge structure. On each pillar, there is a snake carved, circling, entangled, and opening its mouth to hunt, each with a different expression.

And, at the end of the hall, the huge portrait engraved on the wall.

An old man with a monkey-like appearance, a sparse beard, and a robe that reached to the ground so that it looked a bit ill-fitting.

"This is Slytherin?" Harry walked up to Dumbledore.

Dumbledore nodded.

"I thought he would look like Voldemort." Harry commented casually, and took another step forward, "I'm going to try talking to him again."

"Maybe it will bring out the basilisk."

Dumbledore raised his wand.

"Open!" Harry closed his eyes and said Parseltongue aloud.

There was a rumble of violent trembling in his ear, but nothing happened, only a faint breath of magic power gushed out, and there was no other breath.

Dumbledore patted him on the shoulder: "There are no basilisks here."

Harry opened his eyes and looked.

Slytherin's mouth was wide open, and the dark hole occupied almost half of his entire face.

"Let's go in and take a look." Dumbledore waved his wand, and the three of them flew up, followed Slytherin's mouth, and entered the inside of the statue.

It was a room no smaller than a common room.

Dry and clean.

But it was empty, there was not a single book on the bookshelf, and the cabinets storing rare materials were also swept away.

"Senior Tom's hair is really clean." Harry scanned it carefully, but didn't find anything else of value. "I'm ashamed of myself."
