Hogwarts: I'm a model wizard

Chapter 438 The Escaped Dementor

Kyle's words instantly silenced the entire principal's office.

Dumbledore had seen a lot of big scenes, but now he suddenly found that he didn't know what to say.

The same goes for the paintings on the wall.

In the portrait, a thin wizard looked at Kyle hesitantly, the expression on his face constantly changing.

He also has a portrait in the Ministry of Magic, and often goes there to take a look and inquire about the latest happenings in the wizarding world.

Therefore, he still knew something about Cornelius Fudge... But no matter what he thought, he could not connect that person who was keen on seeking power and expanding contacts with what Kyle just said.

As for Phineas, it's more straightforward.

"Albus..." He said to Dumbledore without hesitation in front of Kyle: "Check it quickly. I think this kid must have been under the Imperius Curse of someone."

Phineas also knew Fudge well. In his own words... "Millifett is bad enough, but he's even better."

Millifett was the Minister of Magic a hundred and fifty years ago. During her tenure, she passed many unnecessary bills... such as the wearing angle of wizard hats.

At that time, wizards had to spend twenty minutes checking whether there were any problems with their clothing every time they went out.

But after meeting Fudge, Phineas suddenly felt that Millifite was not bad. At least she passed a lot of practical bills every year.

As for Fudge, he has been in office for several years, and the only thing he can say a few words about is the "Muggle Protection Act" last year.

"Phineas... I don't think anyone in school can use the Imperius Curse on a student." Dumbledore said calmly.

"Then why did he start talking nonsense," said Phineas.

"I can find someone to check him out." Another witch also said.

Delise Devante, the headmaster of Hogwarts two hundred years ago, was also a famous healer, and her portrait still hangs in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Maladies.

Dumbledore shook his head, ignoring their words and looking at Kyle with interest.

"I knew you could always bring me some surprises... Do you mind telling me what you think?"

"If the Minister of Magic is someone else, such as Barty Crouch, it will indeed be difficult for Sirius to overturn the verdict, but with only Fudge... this matter will be much easier to handle.

"But before that..."

He looked at Sirius, "Do you know any people who have been confirmed to be Death Eaters but have not been caught yet?"

Sirius shook his head in confusion.

Most of the people he knew had been his neighbors for twelve years, and the rest had all been cleared up... As for whether there were any fish that slipped through the net, he didn't have time to investigate.

"I do have some information about this." Dumbledore suddenly said: "There are two Death Eaters who have changed their identities and have been operating in the dark, but they are not important figures."

"That's enough," Kyle said, "As long as it's definitely a Death Eater."

"Why are you asking?" Sirius asked curiously.

"Give me a gift." Kyle said matter-of-factly. "They're doing you such a big favor, so you have to bring something with you."

Dumbledore thought for a moment, then seemed to think of something, and his eyes became brighter and brighter.

"I knew you could always surprise me!" he said again.

By the next day, Dumbledore had left the school, and Sirius had also disappeared.

Harry came several times to inquire about the situation, but saw no one, which made him unable to even eat.

However, Kyle ate quite well, and his appetite even increased.

When Harry asked, he just shook his head, saying that he didn't know where Sirius and Dumbledore had gone.

Kyle really doesn't know.

He wanted to go along, but Dumbledore wouldn't take him.

But this is fine...

Two more days passed and they still hadn't come back.

Kyle got up early that day. After breakfast, he went to Hogsmeade through the statue of the hunchback witch on the fourth floor on the pretext of having something to do.

Today was the agreed day, and he was going to find the dementors to get something.

Hogsmeade was peaceful.

Kyle searched for a long time and finally saw a familiar black robe in the place between Hogsmeade and the school...

It was a dementor, but he was not sure if it was from that night. After all, in his opinion, all dementors were the same.

Kyle was about to go over and ask, but just when he got close to the dementor, the other party floated away quickly like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.

Kyle was stunned for a moment and quickly chased after him. There was such a dementor nearby and he couldn't let it escape.

Although the dementor could fly, it seemed unable to leave this area, and was quickly caught up with Kyle...

Kyle was a little surprised. This dementor was smaller than the one he had seen before, and his robes were also more torn. The hooded cloak was almost turning into a jacket.

"Why are you running away..." Kyle said, "I want to ask you something..."

The dementor didn't say anything, but just tightened the few remaining tattered robes around him.

"Where is your leader..." Kyle thought for a moment, then added: "He's not from the Ministry of Magic."

The dementor stretched out his hand and pointed in the direction of the castle. Because a sleeve was missing, his arm looked extremely ugly under the sunlight. It was black and white, and it looked like he had been sunburned.

"Is it over there at the castle?" Kyle asked again.

The Dementor nodded.

After getting the answer, Kyle immediately walked towards the castle, but before leaving, he threw a dark blue cloth to the Dementor and asked him to mend his sleeves, as a thank you for its help in guiding the way.

This was prepared by Kyle as a souvenir for the Quidditch World Cup, but there was no black, so he had to make do with dark blue.

But the dementors probably wouldn't mind this little thing.

Hogsmeade was not far from the castle, and within a few minutes, Kyle had already seen the castle gate.

There are two dementors guarding there.

But there was no need to ask this time. After noticing Kyle, one of the dementors immediately floated over.

"You should have seen that Dumbledore didn't cause any trouble for you...so what did she say?" Kyle asked straight to the point.

The Dementor was also very straightforward, "The underground storage room of the ancient house...the portrait...behind the third wall tile..."

"Where's the old house?"

"I don't know...she didn't say..."

"Okay." Kyle nodded, stretched out his hand and said, "Where are the things I gave you before?"

The Dementor reached out and pulled out the envelope and an empty vial.

In exchange, Kyle gave it a few pieces of chocolate.

"These are all things that can make people happy. They are considered as my reward for buying the news. You can take these back to her... maybe you can both have a meal." Kyle said with a smile.

The dementor didn't understand, but he understood the extra food... so he put away the chocolates.

After doing all this, Kyle walked into the school gate.

However, he did not go back to the castle directly, but found a remote place and lit the envelope with his wand.

During this process, a voice that sounded like a whisper came from the envelope.

"Gringotts...the vault..."

Then Kyle took out the empty bottle.

"Split into pieces!"

The bottle exploded into a pile of fragments, mixed with the ashes of the envelope.

"The water is as clear as a spring!"

"Clean up!"

After two consecutive spells, the ground instantly became as clean as new, leaving no traces behind.
