Hogwarts Outsider

Chapter 138: 3-person line

The last Sunday in September.

The sky is clear and blue, and the wispy clouds are not stained, just like a piece of clean blue paper. This is a rare good weather, especially for Hogwarts who has experienced a rainy September.

The students are naturally very happy about this, because today is the day to go to Hogsmeade.

For Matthew Wickfield, this is his second trip to Hogsmeade, the only village in the UK where only wizards exist.

The last time was naturally during the Christmas holiday last year. At that time, he went alone and encountered an odd witch following him. Finally, he escaped back to Hogwarts from the secret passage of the Honey Duke candy store.

During the Easter holiday in April this year, the first-year students had the opportunity to go to Hogsmeade, but it was approaching the final exams, and everyone obediently stayed in Hogwarts Castle for review, and Matthew did not exception.

But this time, Matthew is no longer alone.

In the morning, while having dinner in the auditorium, Matthew bumped into Neville and Hermione; then after breakfast, the three of them left the castle together as a matter of course.

...

Mr. Pringle, the administrator of the castle, stood at the oak gate as usual, checking the names of his classmates who were allowed to go to Hogsmeade.

And this time is longer than ever, because Mr. Pringle needs to use his Detector to test everybody repeatedly.

On the other side of the oak gate, two black shadows in cloaks stood there.

They were tall and big, their faces completely hidden under their hoods, and hands stretched out under their cloaks. They were gray and white, and seemed to be covered with mucus and spots... as if they were dead bodies that had been soaked in water for a long time and were rotten.

Matthew once again felt the bitter chill from the heart that he had felt at the gate of the castle... He even felt that he could no longer be happy.

Dementor!

This was the first time Matthew got so close to them.

I have to say that this feels extremely sensational, even a little desperate.

Not only Matthew, but Neville and Hermione also turned pale.

Especially Miss Hermione Granger, when she walked through the oak gate guarded by the dementor, she was a little unsteady, and tears kept flowing in her eyes...

This state continued until they left Hogwarts almost a quarter of an hour.

Hermione just let go of her hand holding Matthew's clothes tightly. Matthew touched the back of her hand a bit on the way, and found that her hand was extremely cold...

She lowered her head, wiped her tears, and gasped for breath at the same time...it was finally relieved.

"It's terrible..." she said hoarsely.

"My dad said that the dementor is the most terrifying creature in the world." Neville thought thoughtfully.

"I heard that Azkaban is full of dementors..." Hermione couldn't help shivering. "How terrible it is, I'm afraid it's almost equivalent to **** on earth..."

"It should be." Neville nodded.

"...There are the three criminals who escaped from Azkaban..." Hermione continued, "how on earth did they do it...no wonder Hogwarts took such strict precautions..."

The three of them talked about the Dementor and Azkaban, and at the same time walked along the road to Hogsmeade Village.

The number of students on the roadside is still quite large, after all, it was the first time to go to Hogsmeade this semester and everyone was very interested.

Since it was already autumn, the leaves on the trees on the roadside turned yellow. They fell to the ground and dyed the rough roads yellow.

The three men's shoes stepped on the leaves, only a rustle was heard.

...

Soon, they arrived at their destination.

At the entrance of Hogsmeade Village, Matthew saw brothers Fred and George Weasley, they were in front of the window of Joko's joke shop, pointing to the things inside.

"Where are we going?" Matthew asked softly.

"Go to two broomsticks for a glass of butter beer," Neville suggested. "I still feel a little bit cold..."

Matthew has no opinion on this, although the influence of the Dementor is minimal to him.

They continued along the road, past the post office-every moment there, some owls flew out of it.

A small road next to the post office, Matthew remembers that it leads to the pig’s head bar... He can vaguely see the rusty bracket and the wild boar head painted on it... A middle-aged man dressed as a waiter is lying at the door Something.

The middle-aged man looked up at Matthew and the others.

I don't know why, when he saw the sign of the pig's head bar again, Matthew suddenly felt an extremely uncomfortable feeling from the bottom of his heart.

He didn't feel that way the last time he entered that bar half a year ago.

Fortunately, they did not stop, but continued to move forward.

Crossing the road, they soon got into the two warm broom bars.

...

There are so many people in the bar. UU reading www.uukanshu.com is almost full; a beautiful middle-aged woman is greeting guests; there is also a bald middle-aged wizard who is making five or six cups. Wine glasses of different colors were handed to each table.

Matthew and Hermione stood there for about ten minutes before they reached a small empty table, and they sat down quickly.

Then Neville came back, with three frothy, steaming butterbeers in his hand.

"Finally I can rest for a while!" He sat down and picked up a glass of Butterbeer, "Cheers!"

Matthew took a swig and had to say that it tasted great, at least better than the mead he drank here last time.

And because it is warm, the whole body is full of warmth after drinking it.

"It's much more comfortable this way." Hermione couldn't help but sigh.

At this moment, a cool breeze suddenly messed up Matthew's hair.

The doors of the two broomsticks were opened, and Matthew looked over the rim of the cup, and suddenly choked.

"That seems to be... Professor Slughorn!" Neville pointed to the door and whispered.

The bald-headed Mr. Rosmerta has eagerly greeted the past, and he is mainly responsible for entertaining "priest guests."

Horace Slughorn swaggered into the bar, and he was not alone; behind him, there was a little first-year girl.

Under normal circumstances, first-year students can only come to Hogsmeade during the Christmas and Easter holidays, but if there are teachers with them, it is a different matter... So Miss Elaine Shafik can be here today .

Hermione Granger gave Matthew and Neville a vicious look like a lioness.

As if to warn them, don't say hello to Slughorn!
