Hogwarts Outsider

Chapter 16: Slytherin's common room

After the applause was over, Professor Troca sat down.

But Professor Grindelwald is still standing there.

"In addition, we also want to welcome all first-year freshmen!" he continued.

The applause rang out again, much more eager than before.

"The moment you step into the Hogwarts campus, this castle is like your home. It will shelter you and accompany your growth; no matter when and where you encounter any suffering, Hog Watts will be your strongest barrier!"

"However, you must also abide by Hogwarts' discipline, rules and traditions. Professor Kettleborn asked me to remind you that all the forbidden forests on campus prohibit students from entering; the administrator Mr. Pringle also wants me to warn you, Casting magic in the hallway is absolutely not allowed; and Professor Rozier wants you all to know that lateness and failure to complete your homework will be severely punished..."

"...Even though Hogwarts is divided into four colleges, the bond between magic and mystery has always firmly linked us together. Harmony and unity are the wishes of the four founders, so I don't want it Seeing any unnecessary disputes appearing in the castle..."

"...Finally, I also want to remind everyone that insulting titles such as **** and mudbloods are strictly forbidden at Hogwarts!" As the principal said, his eyes were shining at the Slytherin table. He scanned it: "If you don't believe this, you can try it."

"Now, before everyone goes to bed, let us sing the school song together!" Grindelwald said at last.

He lightly waved his wand, and a long gold ribbon flew out, twisting and winding lines of text like a snake over the high dining table.

Matthew noticed that the wand in his hand was a little different from ordinary wands.

  " Hogwarts, Hogwarts,

   Hogwarts, Hogwarts,

   please teach us the knowledge,

Whether we are the old people who die,

It’s still a child who hurt his knee..."

Different students began to sing the school song according to different tunes.

so that the auditorium seems a little funny.

Grindelwald's voice is the loudest, and his singing is also the most beautiful.

"Music, go to bed with everyone!" He wiped his eyes and said, "I wish you all a happy year to come."

  ……

Slytherin's first-year freshman followed Miss Gama Farley, through the noisy crowd, out of the auditorium, and down the marble staircase.

After such a lively banquet, many people are a little tired; for example, Crabbe and Gore, yawning there.

They first came to the exit between the castle and the basement, and then stepped down the stone steps into the gloomy underground corridor.

The light in the basement was a bit gloomy, and it was only a dozen steps apart to see the lone torch on the stone wall. And this corridor is very empty, amplifying their footsteps, it sounds a bit gloomy.

Miss Farley's wand shone with a ray of light at the end, leading them forward through forks.

Matthew has been watching the surroundings, trying to remember where they each turn.

Almost ten minutes later, they stopped by an empty, wet stone wall.

After waiting for a while, a stone gate appeared on the stone wall with a big green snake painted on it, with the snake's mouth biting its tail.

"As you can see, the Slytherin logo is the giant snake-the smartest kind of creature." Miss Farley introduced: "Also, the colors of our college are emerald and silver."

She gently touched the snake's head on the stone gate, and then whispered:

   "Blood is thicker than blood!"

The snake on the stone gate began to squirm slightly, and as it moved, the stone gate was slowly opened.

"This is the password. Change it every two weeks. Please check the bulletin board."

Then, the group of them walked into the Slytherin common room——

At this moment, Matthew realized that the location of the Slytherin common room was at the bottom of the Black Lake.

The ceiling is transparent, and you can see the sparkling waves on it and the schools of fish swimming by from time to time.

Except for the poor lighting, it can barely be regarded as a comfortable round room. A warm green flame burned in the uukanshu.com fireplace, surrounded by soft armchairs.

Jiama directed the girls through a door to their bedroom; after that, she led the boys through another door.

A fairly spacious bedroom, fully enough to accommodate five people living here.

There are five traditional four-poster beds, with green silk curtains hanging on the beds, and silver embroidery on the bedspreads. Many medieval tapestries can be seen on the surrounding walls, as well as silver lanterns hanging from the upper ceiling.

Matthew found the bed with his name on it, and at the same time saw that his luggage had already been sent over.

Above the luggage, there is a slender paper box; when I look closer, it reads the "Grigovic" trademark and a line of small letters with the name "Garyk Ollivander".

Is this your own magic wand?

Matthew opened the paper box carefully, and the brand-new black walnut wand was lying quietly in the paper box. There was a magic wand holster beside it.

The four roommates were exhausted. When Matthew raised his head, he found that they all put on pajamas and fell asleep.

Matthew himself was not sleepy. He opened his suitcase and took out the items inside.

until I saw the old book at the bottom of the suitcase, quietly staying there.

"Are you the ghost of all this?" Matthew asked softly.

He seemed to be talking to himself again.

Suddenly, a small voice came from the left.

The soft waves from the bottom of the lake outside the window beat the window.

Matthew turned his head and saw a giant octopus strolling by the window in the dim light.

The huge eyes of the octopus are staring at him.
