Hogwarts Outsider

Chapter 47: Mystery

Matthew Wickfield couldn't believe his luck.

But there is no doubt that he succeeded in achieving his original goal, which is: Let Horace Slughorn invite himself to join his "Slug Club."

And only after the first attempt, it succeeded.

He originally thought that he would work harder at least a few times to win Slughorn's favor.

But anyway, this is good news.

  ……

Matthew took a pile of potions lesson supplies, walked through the corridor in the basement, and returned to the Slytherin common room again.

touched the head of the big green snake, he whispered the password for the past two weeks: "Higher than glory!"

The giant snake loosened the tail that it was biting in its mouth, squirmed gently, and opened the stone gate.

As soon as he entered the common room, Matthew saw Crabbe and Gore, two big men, they looked particularly conspicuous.

The two are sitting in the armchairs by the fireplace, swiftly writing, writing something.

Speaking of, these two hapless children have almost never stopped their accidents since the beginning of school... They were "attacked" twice and then sent to the school hospital. The time they spent in the school hospital was almost more than the time spent in other parts of the castle combined.

Sometimes, Matthew even sympathizes with them.

He walked quickly over, and then sat in a soft armchair next to him.

Because of the incident with Nott that happened before, he deliberately kept a safe distance from Crabbe and Gore.

Then Matthew took the initiative to speak: "Hi... Crabbe, Gore!"

Both boys raised their heads and glanced at him.

Crabbe responded slowly: "Wickfield, what's the matter?"

"What are you up to?" Matthew asked "curiously".

"We are writing essays in the astronomy class, and will be handed in later evening." Gore replied.

At night, they need to go to the Astronomy Tower and attend Professor Sinista's astronomy class. Professor Sinista is very strict. If she fails to complete the assignments she has assigned before, the consequences may be disastrous.

"Time is too late!" Matthew looked at his watch, pretending to be surprised.

It is indeed too late. The astronomy class will start at seven o'clock in the evening, and it is almost five in the afternoon.

"Yes!" The two boys nodded together, and were about to lower their heads, and continued to write, "We have to work harder!"

   "Hey, wait!" Matthew said again.

They raised their heads again, with confused expressions on their faces.

"Need a little help." Matthew said unhurriedly: "Maybe my paper, I can give you a reference!"

"Really?" Crabbe and Gore both cheered.

"Of course, don't be too similar, that will be discovered by Professor Sinista!" Matthew said as he raised a hand:

   "In addition...I have another condition..."

"No problem! Who do you want to beat? As long as you are not in the fourth grade or above, we can help you!" Gore said with a dumb face.

"Of course it wasn't someone." Matthew shook his head quickly: "I'm just a little interested... about what happened when you were attacked by Ronald Weasley in Gryffindor that day in the prize showroom. what?"

Crabbe suddenly looked embarrassed, and he whispered a little embarrassed: "Professor Rozier...she...she won't let us talk about it!"

"Forget it!" Matthew looked a little bit interested, he stood up, turned and prepared to leave.

"Wait, wait!" Gore hurriedly yelled a little flusteredly.

attracted some high-grade Slytherin students around, one after another.

   "Huh?" Matthew turned around again.

Gore hurriedly waved his hand at the senior students, then lowered his voice, and said to Matthew: "But you must never tell others..."

"That's natural!" Matthew nodded without thinking.

"The situation was like this..." Gore looked around, then whispered:

"We were in charge of wiping the medals, medals and trophies in the prize showroom. Weasley was wiping it while complaining there; we didn’t know him, so we didn’t answer the conversation... Then he didn’t know why, he suddenly left the prize Showroom?"

"Leave?" Matthew frowned: "Where did you go?"

"I don't know." Crabbe shook his head and continued: "Mr. Tang followed him soon, leaving me and Gore to continue wiping things there."

"What's next..." Matthew asked solemnly: "Are Weasley and Mr. Tang back?"

"I don't know what happened later, Crabbe and I fainted without knowing the reason. After waking up, we were already in the school hospital." Gore said again.

"Oh, okay, thank you!" Matthew nodded thoughtfully.

"So, Wakefield... the astronomy paper?" Crabbe said expectantly.

"Wait a minute, I'll get it now!" Matthew thought about ~www.ltnovel.com~ while walking towards the bedroom.

  ……

According to Crabbe and Gore's description, it seems very likely that the location of the attack was not the prize showroom?

Where did Ronald Weasley go at the time, and then hit the "murderer" and was attacked by the "murderer"...

...Then the "murderer" was discovered by Mr. Tang. He attacked Mr. Tang and made him go crazy, while sending Weasley back to the prize showroom.

   So where did Weasley go?

This question may only be known to him and the murderer!

In addition, why did the murderer take the trouble to bring Weasley back to the prize showroom?

Many mysteries hovered in Matthew's mind.

While passing the astronomy course essay to Crabbe and Gore, he also instructed:

"Since Principal Rozier won't let you talk about this, then you had better stop telling others, and don't say that I know this too!"

"That's natural!" Crabbe and Gore nodded repeatedly.

Just as Matthew was about to return to the dormitory again, a panting senior girl walked up to him.

"I'll give this to Matthew Wickfield," she said, and then handed over a roll of parchment with purple ribbon.

"Okay, thank you!" Matthew took the scroll with his name on it.

   This looks like an invitation.

He opened the paper roll gently, and only wrote a very brief content on it:

  "Matthew:

If I can come to my office for dinner with me this Sunday night, I will be very happy.

   you faithful

   H.E.F. Slughorn Professor"
