Hogwarts: The Cat Wizard of the Moving Castle

Chapter 65 A different kind of reading room

Perhaps it was because he was too busy with schoolwork, or maybe the schoolwork that Harry set for himself was too heavy. In short, when Harry suddenly felt that he could change into a thicker coat one morning, he suddenly realized that he had been at Hogwarts for almost two months.

The weather was starting to cool down, so he thought about it and took off his coat. It was a bit bulky when worn with the wizard's robe, so he decided to put on a high-collared inner layer.

When he arrived at the lounge, he was about to walk out when a familiar password came from outside.

"Purebred!"

The door of the lounge was opened, and Draco and two sweaty little fat guys walked in. They were breathing heavily and spitting out white mist in the somewhat cold lounge.

Draco saw Harry: "Are you going out?"

He just took Crabbe and Goyle for morning exercises.

Draco found that he couldn't get up as early as Harry on weekends, otherwise what would be the point of weekends? This is simply a waste of natural resources!

So every time he had a day off, he would get up a little late, then grab Crabbe and Goyle from the bed and go exercise with him.

Harry nodded: "I have some questions and I have to go to the reading room."

"Okay." Draco walked in. He had to take a shower and change clothes quickly, otherwise he would be sticky.

Harry walked out of the lounge and walked alone in the dark corridors. Occasionally he met Slytherin people and would greet each other.

Since the last battle, his life has become much calmer.

Of course, there must be someone who didn't like him and wanted to cause trouble for him, but for some reason, some other senior classmates diverted the conflict, and a fight broke out among them in the circle of fifth graders and above.

At the same time, Harry also had some contact with them, and sometimes he would give some help without hesitation, or chat with them when they had nothing to do, and ask him some questions out of curiosity.

And there was one question that stumped him.

"What do you want to do in the future? Join the Ministry of Magic? Or be an Auror." The senior in sixth grade asked.

It must be said that, perhaps due to family reasons, Slytherin students generally plan to graduate much earlier than those from other colleges.

This is one of the few outstanding advantages of Slytherin.

Harry thought for a long time and didn't give an answer.

He wanted to become a very powerful wizard, but he felt that this shouldn't be the answer.

Just like the goal of most people is to make money, making money is not a dream. The essence of making big money is to use money to pay for a better life, buy top-notch brooms, travel around the world, etc.

It's impossible to really love those galleons. Just looking at those small gold-containing copper pieces in the vault feels like a dream has been achieved.

Well, while those things are certainly satisfying, they are by no means the dream itself.

So he wanted to ask Uncle Mu En for help.

Only now did he suddenly remember that he should have thought about this issue a year ago - that afternoon.

"You haven't thought about life yet. Do you have to wait until you are eleven years old to start thinking about it?"

Harry, Harry, Uncle Moon clearly reminded you a year ago, but you actually thought it was just a joke!

All the way to the fifth floor, he quickly walked into Uncle Mu En's office.

It's still melodious piano music, but the office has already changed. Rustling sounds kept ringing in the office, and the entire office space expanded a bit. Several long tables were arranged in rows, and many little wizards were reading books here.

This is what Harry calls the reading room.

Compared with the solemn and quiet library, it seemed much more relaxed here. The students found that Teacher Mao Maotou was very peaceful and didn't mind their whispers, and there was soothing music.

This is a haven for relaxing reading.

When they feel bored or can't find anything to do, they don't mind coming here to pick out a collection of selected jokes, a collection of devil's advocate, or the uncensored "Grimm's Fairy Tales."

The two Green brothers always liked to tell ordinary people about the wizarding world, which caused a lot of commotion in the Ministry of Magic back then.

Now the Grimm's fairy tales in the world of ordinary people have been edited out by wizards.

When children see "Puss in Boots", they always look at Mu En with some association...

After listening to Harry's question, Moon couldn't help but put her hand on her scarf.

"I never thought you would ask this question."

Harry looked embarrassed and said a little uncertainly: "Is it too simple?"

"No." Mu En shook his head: "This question is much more difficult than magic. Many people have spent their whole lives looking for the answer but still haven't found it."

"Even you...?"

Mu En looked at him helplessly, combing her fingers along the long scarf, and smiled bitterly: "Even I don't know, otherwise why bother doing this!"

"Okay." Harry nodded angrily.

"No one can give you the answer to this question. You have to find it yourself." Mu En then said, "By the way, it's almost Halloween."

Harry nodded: "Yes, next Thursday."

"It's so fast, we're here in the blink of an eye." From the corner of her eye, Mu En noticed the Weasley twins walking in from the office door. They walked straight towards this direction with smiles on their faces.

"By the way, Captain. Is there anything special about Halloween in the wizarding world? For example, is it really possible to dress up as a ghost?" Harry asked curiously.

"To be precise, wizards don't live on Halloween!"

Harry heard a voice behind him and turned around to see these two people who were quite famous in the school.

"We celebrate All Hallows' Eve, which used to be New Year's Eve and Samhain," another said.

"Oh, okay." Harry nodded.

"By the way, do Muggles still have any Halloween traditions? What does dressing up as a ghost mean?" Fred was curious.

"We will act as ghosts or mischievous monsters and go to other people's homes to ask for candy." Harry explained, and couldn't help but think of the previous Halloweens.

In the past, the Dursleys would throw Harry an old pillowcase or Dudley's torn sheets, then cut two holes for him to put them on, and let him and Dudley ask for sweets together. And the candy he wants will be snatched away by Dudley.

Of course, if he was lucky, he could stuff a small handful inside his clothes.

This was one of the few times he could have a slight sweet taste in his mouth.

Except last year, he didn't celebrate Halloween last year. Of course, he wasn't too disappointed. After all, compared to the Moonlight Castle, the ghosts and monsters on the streets outside seemed a bit boring.

"Wow~" Fred sighed, his eyes flickering, and then he looked at George: "You know what I'm thinking."

A smile appeared on George's face, and he said mysteriously: "Besides, if our tricks and props are successful, it might be more interesting."

Then they looked at Mu En and whispered: "Captain, we have a question to ask."

"Do you want to have a night walk of a hundred ghosts on Halloween?" Mu En looked at the two of them curiously.

"I knew you understood us." Fred laughed.

George followed up by adding: "It's going to be fun for sure."

"It's just that we still have some minor problems with our tricks and props. Can you please give me some advice?"

Mu En nodded. This was not the first time that the Weasley twins came to see him. Since the two children once came to him to ask more questions and get answers, they came to him for help whenever they encountered difficult problems.

After all, neither Professor Flitwick nor Professor McGonagall would give them the answers to these questions. They knew these two children too well.

He looked at the two of them: "To be honest, I'm also looking forward to what you guys want to come up with on Halloween. By the way, Harry, do you want to see it?"
