Hogwarts: Wizards Supreme

Chapter 70 The Second Attack

In Hermione's letter, the little witch asked Brian in a subtle way if he knew about the Chamber of Secrets.

Brian wrote in reply:

"Unfortunately, Hermione, I don't know who the heir is."

"I left early on the day of the death anniversary party. I couldn't stand the environment there and went straight back to the auditorium. The Halloween party was almost over at that time."

"As for the secret room, I promise I will pay attention to relevant news..."

Brian read the letter in his hand again, lost in thought.

No matter what, everything he did this year can be blamed on Tom. How could a little wizard withstand the power of the Dark Lord?

Brian used the two newly acquired witness points on his memory, raising it from proficient to expert level. This can effectively improve his learning ability and learning efficiency, and is beneficial to the upgrade of other abilities.

The incident in the Chamber of Secrets did not affect the progress of the Quidditch match.

The first Quidditch match of the school year is about to begin, Gryffindor versus Slytherin, and it's definitely not going to be a pleasant match.

Draco had been very complacent recently. He felt that the Chamber of Secrets had been opened, the school was going to be purified, and he was going to beat Gryffindor on the court and give Potter a good look. This was a double blessing.

Even though the Quidditch team's training became more frequent and difficult, he still actively participated in the training with great enthusiasm.

On Saturday morning, Draco climbed out of bed early and woke Brian up.

Draco looked arrogant and said in his characteristic slow tone: "Brian, be careful today, I will make Potter confused!" But his slightly trembling legs still exposed his inner nervousness.

"Okay, I'll take a good look." Brian smiled and shook his head. I don’t know if the house elf will come out to cause trouble this time. He may indeed know that the diary is in his hands.

At eleven o'clock, Brian arrived at the stadium. He politely greeted Professor Snape, and then sat quietly aside, flipping through the alchemy book in his hand.

Daphne sat next to him, surrounded by her group of friends. She looked at the field nervously, her hands on her abdomen and clasped tightly.

The members of the Slytherin team wore bright green uniforms and stepped onto the court with confidence. The little Draco looked very thin among them.

"Oh, Draco, I hope he goes well in the competition." Daphne whispered, "Brian, stop reading, the competition is about to begin!"

Mrs. Huo Qi blew the whistle and the game officially began.

Brian raised his head and looked into the stadium, comforting: "Don't be nervous, he is an excellent seeker."

"I know, but his opponent is that Harry Potter. I really hope he won't secretly curse Draco." Daphne said worriedly. She seemed to really believe that Harry Potter was an extremely powerful dark wizard.

Brian shook his head, thinking the other way round was more or less the same.

In the arena, the Slytherin team's broomsticks were obviously much faster, and they completely turned into blurry green shadows. Draco and Harry were flying high at the top, and Draco was still flying back and forth, as if showing off his broom to Harry.

Soon it started to rain, and a Bludger hit Harry out of control. No matter what the other players did, they couldn't change the direction of the ball. The little wizard could only keep changing directions and flying in the sky.

Draco laughed on the side, admiring Potter's embarrassed look. Even the falling raindrops didn't seem so annoying anymore.

Snape frowned, stared at the Bludger solemnly, and put his right hand into his robes.

Daphne let out a low exclamation, her blue eyes staring at the arena unblinkingly, wondering who she was nervous about.

Brian put away the book in his hand, looked around, and found the house elf hiding in an inconspicuous place behind a group of Gryffindor wizards. He was stretching out his slender fingers and pointing at the swimming elf. While walking the ball, his head would hit the chair on the side from time to time.

Brian didn't intervene, just watched the scene happen.

"It seems that Dobby may have seen me take away the diary." He pondered, "You need to pay more attention to this."

He watched Harry get hit hard by the Bludger, and then hit Draco at full speed. After Draco hurriedly dodged, he grabbed the Golden Snitch next to him, and then straight up Falling towards the ground.

Brian looked at this scene indifferently, but he was thinking in his heart: "Why has there been no change at all despite my intervention? My butterfly effect should have affected it a little..."

But the fact is, nothing seems to have changed much.

Harry still had his arm broken by the Bludger, Draco still missed the Golden Snitch beside him, and Lockhart was rushing over to cast a spell on Harry...

"Is there really a destiny?" Brian murmured.

He glanced at his newly obtained 0.5 witness points, and silently walked to the common room amidst the disappointed sighs of all the Slytherin wizards.

"What happened? Will Potter be okay?" Daphne said, "Fortunately, Draco is okay, that's great."

"Potter must have wanted to cast a spell to harm someone, and then his spell went out of control." Pansy said from the side, "Oh, Draco, by the way, I brought an umbrella..." She ran towards the venue.

"Oh, Pansy..." Daphne looked angrily at Pansy who ran away, following Brian.

"To be honest, sometimes I feel really embarrassed like this." Daphne whispered, "Sometimes I feel like other people look at me weird."

"Maybe she likes Draco?" Brian unfolded his umbrella and extended his hand to invite Daphne to come in.

"The problem is, it's not just Draco! She also likes Blaise and Professor Lockhart..." Daphne hummed, counting the names one by one, "She just thinks they are handsome."

"Am I ugly if she doesn't like me?" Brian joked.

"No, of course you are not ugly, you are... beautiful." Daphne coughed slightly and blushed slightly.

"Well, I don't want to be called beautiful all the time." Brian said with a smile.

"Then you have to grow up quickly." Daphne looked at Brian's beautiful eyes half-hidden under the black hair on his forehead and narrowed his eyes with a smile.

They returned to the common room, and Draco soon returned, looking furious and dripping wet. Pansy followed far behind, feeling a little disappointed. Captain Flint bared his teeth and said angrily: "Draco, the Golden Snitch is right next to you, you can reach it if you stretch out your hand!"

Draco seemed a little unsure. He snorted and looked away.

"I don't know what you are doing. You really failed to meet your standards this time!" Flint said. "The follow-up training will be doubled. We can't lose again!"

Draco gritted his teeth and nodded, muttering something silently.

After returning to the dormitory, Brian used a cleaning spell on Draco to make him look less embarrassed.

"Potter, he is simply..." Draco was still angry.

"But you also have to reflect, Draco." Brian leaned against the door and said softly, "Your level is more than that. If you focus more on the game today instead of on Enter Laughing Potter, maybe we'll win."

Draco sat on the bed a little guilty and roughly tugged at his team robe.

That night, Brian returned to the secret room.

Because Colin Creevey had an accident, he decided to find a new target, which could be regarded as a new test.

He scanned the castle model and finally found a little Hufflepuff witch wandering around the castle in the middle of the night. She was wearing a pair of big black-rimmed round glasses.

Brian could tell she was of Muggle origin, mostly because of Draco, who was always well informed about it. According to him, distinguishing friend from enemy is the prerequisite for everything.

This time, after Brian gave the order to the Basilisk, he stayed here and checked the situation through the castle model.

Things went smoothly, and the basilisk completed its task easily, then retreated into the water pipe and swam back freely.

Brian casually threw some animals he got in the Forbidden Forest to the basilisk as food, and the basilisk swallowed them with some dissatisfaction.

[Witness and participate in the second attack, witness point +1×2]

Brian looked at the prompts on the system, his eyes getting deeper and deeper.

He took out Tom's diary and wrote in it: "Tom, I have completed the second attack. I think I will be able to drive them out soon."

"You did what I didn't do, Brian," Tom responded.
