Hogwarts: Wizards Supreme

Chapter 74 Night Encounter

He stayed in Snape's office for a long time tonight. It was already dark, and Brian walked along the increasingly dark corridor toward the common room.

Recently, due to Filch's accident, many bold little wizards began to sneak out late at night.

Professor McGonagall caught several groups of little wizards wandering around in the middle of the night and locked them up several times, but he still couldn't stop the little wizards from taking risks. Her hair has turned a few gray recently.

Hagrid suggested that he let the little cuties he raised into the castle to patrol, but the professors sternly refused.

Brian was sure that he saw two little witches holding small green lanterns, floating in front of them like ghosts.

He sighed softly and heard the footsteps approaching quickly from the corridor on the other side, as well as the sound of giggling.

"Peeves..." Brian muttered, took out the invisibility cloak, covered himself, and stepped aside.

"Bang -" Two dark shadows rushed out of the corridor. They turned a corner, but happened to bump into Brian.

"Ouch..." Several people fell to the ground and groaned.

Brian was knocked to the ground and his invisibility cloak slipped off. He looked at the Weasley twins in front of him who were holding their buttocks and screaming, not knowing what to make of their expressions.

"Hahahaha... I caught you! You're a little kid who hangs out in the middle of the night." Peeves' bright eyes widened as he screamed and flew around above the three people.

"Shut up, Peeves!" Fred said with a smile, "Filch is lying on the bed now, you can't call anyone!"

"Hi, are you okay?" George greeted Brian, "Sure enough, we are not the only ones who are very energetic at night!"

"No, I'm not here to hang out..." Brian said weakly. He just wanted to go back and do his homework quietly.

"You troublemakers, you need some color!" Peeves made a face, stretched out his tongue, and threw paper balls at them with a wastepaper basket in his hand.

Fred picked up the waste paper on the ground and played two-player battle with Peeves.

George looked at the map in his hand against the moonlight and laughed loudly: "There are not many people around here. Maybe we can compete with each other to see who has the loudest voice!"

"Oh, Hogwarts Moonlight Night Concert! What a great idea, I applaud it with all my hands!" Fred said in an exaggerated tone as he dodged a paper ball.

"No, we have to go to the old witch statue on the eighth floor..." George urged, "Hurry up, the time is almost up! If we miss the time, we have to wait another month!"

Brian quietly picked up the Invisibility Cloak. Unexpectedly, Peeves floated over very quickly and grabbed the corner of the Invisibility Cloak.

"Oh, Foley, you're such a nuisance!" Peeves screamed angrily, "Slytherin's little bastard, you're so evil..."

Brian took out his wand and pointed it, causing all the paper balls on the ground to fly up and land on Peeves' face.

He grabbed the invisibility cloak and breathed out softly.

"Oh, good job!" Fred gave a thumbs up with a smile, "Peeves, so you are a weakling? Maybe I can consider giving you a toilet seat as a shield!"

Peeves angrily swept away the paper balls in front of him, put the wastebasket on Fred's head, and pulled out the carpet from under his feet. Brian dodged aside with quick eyes and hands, and George fell to the ground on his back, grinning.

"Ouch!" Fred rolled to the side and knocked over a pair of armor. The armor fell to the ground and fell apart, burying him inside.

"Hahaha, let you know how powerful the great Peeves is!" Peeves shook his butt in the air and made exaggerated faces.

"Fred!" George smiled and took off the iron armor that was pressing on his brother, but Fred lay there quietly, motionless.

George took the wastebasket away from Fred's head and saw his eyes closed and a smile on his face.

"Oh, I fainted." George rolled his eyes exaggeratedly and fell next to his brother with a thud.

Peeves floated over, screamed, and lay flat in the air.

Brian looked at the guys playing childish games with disgust and felt that he was really out of place.

"Surprise!" George jumped up, and so did Peeves.

But Fred made no move.

He lay there quietly, as if asleep.

"Fred, the sun is shining on your butt!" George smiled and shook Fred, but he couldn't wake him up.

"Fred?" The smile on George's face gradually disappeared and became serious. He patted his brother's cheek, pulled out his wand and said: "Oh, poor Fred, he was knocked unconscious by you, Peeves!"

"Resuscitate quickly." He used the resuscitation spell, but Fred was still lying there quietly.

"Resuscitate quickly!"

Peeves yelled, "What? Don't tell me he's made of glass!"

Brian leaned over with a sullen face and glanced at the unconscious Fred. His breathing was very steady and he probably just fainted.

"Fred, stop kidding me!" George stared at him, his brows furrowed tightly.

"This is not right, send him to the school hospital!" Brian said. He pointed his wand at Fred, causing him to float slowly.

George grabbed one of Fred's feet and led him towards the school hospital. Brian followed silently. Peeves screamed and flew away.

They arrived at the school hospital, and George called out to Madam Pomfrey.

"What's wrong?" Madam Pomfrey walked out of the room wearing curlers and pajamas.

"I don't know, but Fred suddenly fainted." George said hurriedly.

"Oh, okay, let me take a look..." Madam Pomfrey said softly, "Put him flat here."

She drew her wand and muttered a few spells, then suddenly stopped and exclaimed in a low voice: "Oh my God!"

"No, you go back first!" she said hurriedly.

"No, he is my brother, please tell me what happened!" George said.

"Oh, okay, what did he do before?" Madam Pomfrey said, "You guys stay here and don't leave. I'll go find Albus..." As she said that, she trotted out in a hurry. .

The two sat quietly on the chair, Fred was placed aside, as if sleeping soundly. George patted his forehead worriedly.

"Don't worry too much, he will be fine." Brian said softly. His eyes sparkled in the dark night.

"Yeah." George said. He seemed very mature at this time.

Dumbledore quickly rushed over, followed by McGonagall and Snape. They took turns checking on Fred, talking in low voices.

"Albus, are you sure it's the same as Colin Creevey?"

"Yes, the soul is gone, exactly the same."

"This...is already the second time, and there may be more. What should I do?"

"Find the source. How did they become like this..."

"There are two parties involved this time." The professors turned their attention to Brian and George.

George told what happened tonight. The two of them had come out to explore the secrets of the castle, something they had always been passionate about.

Tonight, they first went to the underground city and studied an ancient carved stone wall there to confirm whether there was a secret passage inside. Then, they rushed towards the eighth floor of the castle, which was their main purpose. Rumor has it that if you find the old witch statue in the right place at the right time, it will perform wonderful magic on visitors.

They met Peeves halfway, so they ran ahead, bumped into Brian, and were caught up by Peeves.

Then that happened.

"In other words, you didn't encounter anything noteworthy?" Dumbledore frowned.

"Yes, I thought he was joking with me at the time." George said with a complicated expression.

"Oh, I'm afraid this is a serious situation beyond your expectation." Dumbledore looked at him deeply.

"Severus, inform Arthur and Molly."

Snape nodded, his expression still gloomy and indifferent.

"George, you need to take me through all the places you have been to tonight." Dumbledore said softly with bright blue eyes.

"Minerva, go call Peeves over. Maybe he will have some clues." Dumbledore turned around and said.

Professor McGonagall sniffed, responded in a low voice, and then hurried out.

"Ah, and Brian, if you don't mind, you need to wait here for a while. Maybe you can find a room here to sleep." Dumbledore said.

"Okay, sir." Brian nodded slightly.
