Hogwarts: Wizards Supreme

Chapter 77 Duel Club

Ever since the news spread among the young wizards that Fred had been attacked and was lying half-dead in the hospital, the students had been in a state of suspicion.

The first-year students all gather together in small groups for fear of being attacked if they act alone.

Of course, some Slytherin wizards are very satisfied with this. What they want most is to find out who is the heir who will do such a great thing.

At this moment when everyone is in danger, news spreads that a duel club will be opened in the school.

Draco, who had been taught a lesson, worked hard for three days and learned several Defense Against the Dark Arts spells from Brian. It must be said that he had excellent talent in spells. But he soon lost interest. He preferred those evil curses and some slightly evil little black magic.

For example, he really wanted to turn Ron Weasley into a pig-nosed monster.

Draco looked at the notice on the bulletin board and said slowly: "How about we go take a look at eight o'clock tonight, Brian?"

"Okay." Brian nodded. There should be a witness point this time, and he was still looking forward to seeing it.

"It's best that Potter and the others will go," Draco said proudly. He had just learned the disarming spell from Brian. "I can't wait to teach them a lesson."

At eight o'clock in the evening, many young wizards came to the auditorium together. The long dining table in the auditorium was replaced by a gilded stage, with hundreds of candles floating in the sky, and the ceiling showed a night sky as dark as velvet.

Almost all the students in the school came. The students were crowded together. Everyone was holding their own wands and their faces were full of excitement.

"I wonder which professor will teach us." Daphne looked expectantly, holding her wand tightly in her hand.

"It must be Professor Snape. Of course, Professor Flitwick will do," Draco said.

"I'm afraid things won't go as planned." Brian said in a playful tone, "You know, duels and the like are closely related to Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"No..." Daphne opened her mouth. Next to her, Pansy looked at the stage with rosy cheeks and screamed.

Draco and Blaise groaned.

Lockhart, wearing a purple robe, walked onto the stage. He looked radiant and smiled like he was filming a toothpaste commercial. He opened his arms to the cheers of many little witches.

Next to him stood Snape, wearing a black robe, his face looking like he was in mourning.

"At least Professor Snape is here..." Daphne said weakly.

Lockhart waved everyone down and shouted, "Come around, come around! Can everyone see it? Great!"

"Dumbledore allowed me to start this little dueling club so that everyone can learn the skills of self-defense, just as I have always done - for details, please pay attention to my published works!"

"Let me introduce my assistant, Professor Snape," Lockhart grinned. "He told me that he knows a thing or two about dueling, and he volunteered to assist me and give everyone a small demonstration. !”

Snape's face turned even darker, and he stared at Lockhart with an unprecedented gloomy gaze, as if he was about to pull out his wand and recite the Death Curse if he said even half a word.

But Lockhart was still smiling, seemingly unaware.

"I really don't know why Professor Snape would be willing to do such an outrageous thing." Blaise said with his arms crossed.

"He probably also wants us to actually learn something useful." Brian looked at Snape on the stage with clear eyes, and the low pressure on his body almost turned into black mist. "You know, we didn't learn anything in Defense Against the Dark Arts, and now we're threatened by the Chamber of Secrets."

"Yes, Professor Snape is the best. Why doesn't the principal not allow him to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor?" Daphne said.

"Obviously, if he becomes the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, he will probably only be with us for one year." Theodore added next to him, "This position has been problematic for more than just a few years."

"I really don't understand why the school doesn't cancel this course." Daphne played with the wand in her hand.

"It's about to begin!" Draco shouted. "Anyway, I think Lockhart needs to be taught a lesson!"

On the stage, Lockhart and Snape turned to face each other. Lockhart bowed exaggeratedly and flipped his hands in many tricks, like a peacock spreading its tail. But Snape just moved his head impatiently.

Then they held their wands to their chests like swords, then jerked them over their shoulders.

"Expelliarmus!" Snape shouted.

A dazzling red light hit Lockhart, who had not yet reacted. He flew backwards off the stage, hit the wall, then slid down and curled up on the floor. His wand was thrown high in a swirl, and Snape reached out to catch it.

"Oh, great!" Draco and others applauded, and even Blaise clapped her hands reservedly. Pansy covered her mouth dramatically, wondering whether she should cheer or express concern.

"This is so handsome!" Daphne looked at Snape with bright eyes and said with admiration.

Brian smiled, clapped, and nodded: "Yes, he is a person worthy of respect and admiration."

But they were the only ones applauding, and most people looked at Lockhart worriedly. You know, Snape is not very popular with students from other houses.

Lockhart stumbled to his feet. He walked crookedly onto the stage, holding up his hands to tell everyone that this was just a demonstration. "I cooperated very well. You know, Professor Snape's intention to make this move is too obvious. If I want to stop it, it will be effortless!"

Snape stared at him with a murderous look on his face, his upper lip curled up, showing his teeth.

Lockhart seemed to think that Snape's expression was a bit scary. He waved to tell everyone that the demonstration was over and paired the students into pairs to practice.

Snape walked up to the three Harrys first and sneered: "Of course, our famous savior needs a good opponent to show his majesty. Potter, you and..."

Snape's eyes wandered between Brian and Draco, narrowed his eyes and said: "You and Foley are in the same group. Weasley, you and Malfoy are in the same group."

"As for you, Miss Granger, you can be paired with Miss Greengrass." He glanced at Brian and said coldly.

Brian looked at Snape's sinister eyes. He seemed to be expecting Potter to be taught a lesson by him.

"Oh." Brian sighed softly and met Harry's eyes. He didn't want to participate in this kind of bullying game.

Draco looked a little regretful, but eager to give it a try. It would be nice to teach Weasley a lesson.

Daphne reluctantly walked up to Hermione, she would rather be with Pansy.

"Face your partner!" Lockhart shouted from the stage at this time, "Take a bow!"

Brian bowed slightly gracefully and Harry did the same. The two men stared at each other in silence, Brian thinking about how to make him reveal his Parseltongue.

"Raise your wand and get ready!" Lockhart said. "I'll count to three and then cast the spell. Remember, only Expelliarmus! One, two, three -"

"Expelliarmus!" Brian gave Harry a little reaction time, then waved his wand, and a beam of red light hit Harry, sending him flying backwards. His wand fell out of Brian's hand.

Apparently Harry's first disarming spell didn't work.

On the other side, Draco took action first when Lockhart counted to "two". His disarming spell hit Ron, and Ron's wand flew out and fell to the ground and broke into two pieces. .

Draco stared maliciously at Ron who fell to the ground, turned the wand in his hand, and said another spell at him.

The battle between Hermione and Daphne was much more peaceful. The two used disarming spells in a precise manner and fired tiny red sparks at each other.

The two people pointed their wands at each other and moved slightly, staring at each other closely. The spells were ready to strike, and they both wanted to knock the other down.

Other groups are also in various situations.

Neville's spell failed to control its power well, and both he and his opponent were thrown to the ground by the spell, lying on the ground panting.

Seamus Finnigan's spell went out of control, and Dean Thomas, who was in the same group as him, was blown away and fainted directly to the ground, his face black and his hair turned into a blackened afro.

Some little wizards were slumped on the ground unable to get up, and some were bleeding profusely... Lockhart was so anxious that he was spinning around, shouting loudly, but he could not control the situation.

Draco's spell fell on Ron, turning his nose into a pig's snout and making squeaking noises. Draco laughed, holding his stomach.

Hermione and Daphne's spells fell on each other, and they flew out at the same time, and their wands came out of their hands.

Brian looked at Harry who stumbled up and threw the wand back into his hand.

"Go on, Harry Potter," Brian said softly. "Keep the spell short and give a slight wave of the wand at the end."

"Expelliarmus!" The two chanted the magic spell at the same time. After Brian took a step to avoid, Harry flew out again.

"Well, it seems you need a better opponent." Brian threw Harry's wand to him.

He casually threw the Ofer who was resting on him tonight, pointed at it with his wand and said:

"Get bigger quickly!"

Glancing over at Snape, he was staring at their group, his expression looking quite satisfied.
