Hogwarts: Wizards Supreme

Chapter 83 Leaving the Soul

Harry and Ron ran wildly in the corridor, their figures slowly getting smaller, and gradually returning to their original appearance.

They rushed up the steps and into the dark hall, throwing their shoes at the door of the cupboard where Crabbe and Goyle were kept, and there was a crashing sound inside. They ignored it and hurried back to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom.

"You said, it was really Hagrid who opened the Chamber of Secrets last time?" Harry said in a difficult tone after changing his clothes.

"I don't know, Harry." Ron opened his mouth.

Harry looked pale. He had always known that Hagrid had a soft spot for huge monsters. Perhaps Hagrid would think it was outrageous to imprison that monster for so long, and he should let it out for free.

Harry could even imagine the teenage Hagrid putting a leash on the monster, putting a collar on it, and leading it around the castle. But he didn't believe Hagrid would intentionally kill someone.

"Don't think too much, Harry." Ron looked at Harry's ugly face and consoled him, "This is just what Foley said. Maybe he was mistaken, or he was just lying."

Harry nodded numbly and tried to pull the silver snake from his arm.

"Oh, it's you indeed. I told you that your smell is very familiar...don't drag me..." Ofer hissed, "You are Scarhead, right? Little Yellow Hair has always called you that..."

Harry had an idea and hissed: "Is your master Brian Foley?"

Ron stared at him with a look of horror on his face, and Harry winked at him.

"Yes, my name is Ofer." Ofer remained motionless, like a snake-shaped sculpture.

"Your master, can he communicate with you like me?" Harry felt his heart pounding.

"It's a pity, no, you are the first." Ofer said, "So, are you a snake? I have always looked at you and you are very pleasing to the eye."

Harry sighed in disappointment and said, "I'm not a snake. Ofer, do you know about the Chamber of Secrets?"

"I don't know, I'm not interested." Ofer wrapped Harry's arm tighter, "It's so cold, you're so warm..."

"Can you get off me?" Harry said with a dark face.

"Oh, okay." Harry seemed to hear the deep disappointment in Ofer's tone, "Can you send me back? I'm afraid I'll freeze into a popsicle outside."

"We can consider it." Harry nodded.

He said to Ron, whose eyes were wide open and curious, "It said that Foley doesn't know Parseltongue and doesn't know anything about the secret room."

"Okay." Ron shrugged, then asked curiously, "What does it feel like to talk to a snake?"

Harry said uncertainly: "I don't feel anything, it's normal."

"Oh——" Ron said in a long tone.

They walked towards the Gryffindor common room and heard screams and noises coming from the hall. The two looked at each other and quietly approached the hall.

There was a group of young wizards and a few professors surrounding them, and that was where they had stuffed Crabbe and Goyle into the cupboard.

"What happened? Were they discovered?" Harry asked confused.

"I don't know, let's go and take a look." Ron pulled him closer to the crowd.

They saw several professors discussing something with serious faces. The expression on Dumbledore's face was unprecedentedly serious, and Snape stood aside with a gloomy expression.

A large man was lying on the ground, as if dead, and Harry saw that it was Crabbe. Gore was hiding aside and shivering with his bare feet.

"I know that he, Vincent Crabbe from our house, is a pureblood." A tall and thin Slytherin student whispered, "Poor guy, is he dead?"

Harry and Ron looked at each other and felt as if their hearts were frozen.

"Is there something wrong with our potion?" Ron swallowed hard, "Did we poison him to death?"

"Impossible, Goyle is fine, we use the same bottle of sleeping potion!" Harry whispered.

"Aha, big guy! I'm leaving, Scarhead!" Ofer said cheerfully, sliding off his arm and swimming to Goyle, scaring him so much that he almost jumped up.

Harry was distracted and ignored Ofer. Ron pulled him away quickly from the scene.

The young wizards who were surrounding him were quickly ordered by the professors to return to their respective common rooms. Several professors gathered around Crabbe and started discussing with serious expressions.

"Are you sure it's another soul separation incident, Dumbledore?" Professor McGonagall's voice trembled slightly.

"Yes, you can't be wrong." Dumbledore frowned.

Snape looked at Goyle who was shivering at the side, and said softly: "Goyle, tell me your experience."

Gore stammered as he explained what had happened.

Snape's eyes seemed to be looking at a giant monster, and he said slowly: "How dare you stuff suspicious food into your mouth? Even the rats in the sewers wouldn't be so stupid."

Goyle dropped his head.

Snape glanced at the two pairs of shoes randomly thrown next to him, and said gloomily: "Someone knocked them out for some purpose. I detected the ingredients of the hypnotic drug from Crabbe, but it was just the most common hypnotic drug." medicine……"

"It's like this again, we have nothing in common, Albus..." Professor McGonagall said hesitantly, "Is that thing just randomly choosing targets to attack?"

"No, they must have some kind of connection." Dumbledore pondered, "Maybe they came into contact with something..."

"What exactly are we going to do, Albus?"

"I don't know what made them targets, but they have one thing in common, that is, they are all in a weak state that cannot resist..." Dumbledore's eyes were shining brightly.

"Colin Creevey took cold medicine because of a severe cold that night and fell into a coma; Fred Weasley had marks on the back of his neck, and it was obvious that he was knocked unconscious that day; Vincent Crabbe was knocked unconscious with hypnotic drugs..."

"That thing is not strong, Minerva." Dumbledore said, "It can only attack those who are unprepared."

"In this case, it will not be difficult to prevent. I will cast a little magic spell on some gadgets." Dumbledore said slowly, "Distribute them to everyone after Christmas. Minerva, you make the arrangements."

"Okay." Professor McGonagall nodded.

Brian mused, while Draco chirped.

"What? You mean those two were not Crabbe and Goyle?" Draco raised his voice in surprise.

"That's right, I thought you should be keen to discover it." Brian said helplessly, "They have a lot of flaws."

Draco's face turned slightly red and he said, "I didn't think about that, I just thought they were a little weird... who makes them so stupid all the time..."

"Why don't you expose them?"

"That's of no use, Draco." Brian shook his head, "They are obviously investigating the secret room, and they even suspect us. Why not give them some information."

"Are you telling the truth? That stupid big guy Hagrid will be the heir of Slytherin?" Draco looked suspicious.

"I don't know if it's true or not, but the school's conclusion at that time was that he was the one." Brian raised the corner of his mouth slightly.

"But obviously, the school at that time only needed a scapegoat, and it didn't matter who it was." Brian said softly, "The most important thing is that after Hagrid was expelled, no one was attacked again."

"Okay," Draco muttered, "Maybe I can get my dad to find someone to take that big idiot and put him in Azkaban."

At this time, several students walked into the lounge together. They surrounded Gore and asked him various questions.

"What happened? Goyle is famous?" Draco raised his eyebrows, "Don't tell me they were stripped naked and hung in the hall..."

Goyle sat down in the armchair next to them and said in shock: "Crabbe...he was attacked!"

"What!" Draco jumped up and stared at Goyle fiercely.

Brian also sat up straight, stared at him closely and said, "Goyle, tell us what happened?"

They listened to Goyle stammering as he recounted what had happened. Draco was pacing back and forth anxiously, his face even paler.

"How could it be, how could he be attacked?" Draco said, "No, he was not petrified, nor was he dead. It shouldn't be an attack..."

"The professor said he was sick and fainted." Gore rubbed his head dully. Ofer climbed out of his pocket and went back to warm himself by the fire.

"Huh, you didn't tell me earlier!" Draco threw himself into the armchair, "I just said, unless the heir is crazy, how can he attack a pure blood." Obviously he did not realize the seriousness of the matter.

"Let's go see him tomorrow." Brian said thoughtfully.

"Okay," Draco drawled, "It's really troublesome."
