Hogwarts: Wizards Supreme

Chapter 88 Visiting the Forbidden Forest at Night

Looking at the sleeping Daphne, Brian's expression looked solemn and confused.

"So, she just fell asleep?" Pansy Parkinson patted her chest and let out a long sigh of relief.

"Maybe, it's best to send her to the school hospital for a check-up." Brian stared at Pansy for a long time, until she looked away in panic, and then said lightly.

Several little wizards hurriedly assembled a simple stretcher. Brian used magic to levitate it, and Goyle was responsible for dragging it.

"So, Pansy, why did she drink your potion?" Draco said on the way.

"She was willing to give it a try for me." Pansy muttered, "Anyway, I did it according to her instructions..."

"So... it was Daphne who fainted?" Draco said bluntly. He expressed disbelief at this act of seeking death.

"No, she actually brewed it successfully." Brian held a small bottle of potion and muttered, "It's just that the weight of the ecstasy is a little heavier, and it has an extra drowsy effect. But the effect of the potion is okay. In a way, this cannot be considered a failure.”

"She just fell asleep?" Draco muttered, "Then we don't have to send her to the hospital..."

"But the thing is, she's not just asleep now..." Brian said meaningfully, taking a deep look at Pansy.

She turned away in a panic.

"Not just asleep?" Draco repeated.

Glancing at Daphne, who was lying quietly on the stretcher, the corners of her mouth were slightly raised, as if she was having a sweet dream, and Brian fell silent.

After Madam Pomfrey checked, professors rushed over one after another soon, making several young wizards aware of the seriousness of the matter.

"So, Miss Parkinson, where did her amulet go?" Dumbledore said slowly, staring at Pansy with his blue eyes seriously.

"I...I don't know!" Pansy said in a panic.

"Parkinson, you should realize that this is a serious accident." Snape stared at her with cold and empty eyes. "Continuing to hide will only deepen the guilt... It's not too late..."

Pansy lowered her head and whispered: "I took it away at noon today... I just wanted to make Daphne anxious, but I didn't expect that she never noticed..."

"You know that's not something that should be joked about..." Snape narrowed his eyes and turned pale, making the air around him feel cold.

"I will take care of Parkinson's." He nodded to everyone and left with a crying Pansy.

Madam Pomfrey arranged a bed for Daphne. Professor McGonagall looked a little haggard and she left in a hurry.

"You go first, Draco." Brian said to the frightened Draco, "Follow Professor Snape."

"Okay, what about you?" he said.

"I want to clarify some issues." Brian said softly.

"Okay, then be careful." Draco pulled Goyle and left in a hurry. Obviously he had many questions to ask Snape.

When everyone left one by one, Dumbledore rubbed his eyebrows, looking a little tired.

"Professor Dumbledore, have you found the reason for leaving the soul?" Brian said softly.

"There is no connection, Brian." Dumbledore sighed. "I only know that they were in a state of unconsciousness before leaving their souls, but why they were, I don't have any clues."

"Then have you ever thought about trying to make yourself unconscious?" Brian said softly, "Maybe you are among them..."

"Ah, obviously this is a good method." Dumbledore narrowed his eyes slightly and said with a smile, "However, when I wanted to do this, I suddenly discovered that the problem in the Chamber of Secrets has not been solved yet. Under the circumstances, it would be a bad idea to render yourself unconscious."

Brian nodded slightly and said, "I understand. Goodbye, sir."

He left the campus hospital, looked in the direction of the Forbidden Forest, and went straight back to the common room.

"Brian, did you ask something?" Draco ruffled his pale blond hair, looking a little restless. "The dean refused to tell me..."

"Obviously, it's the so-called epidemic, the same as Crabbe." Brian said with a slight wink.

"Haha, the epidemic..." Draco said mockingly, "Who would believe that it is the epidemic... maybe it is some black magic, or the monster in the secret room is out of control!"

"No, I want to write to my father and ask him to take me out of Hogwarts." He paced back and forth in front of the fireplace. "We don't need to take that risk. We can wait until the danger has passed before coming back, or we can transfer directly to Durmstrang!”

Brian nodded helplessly and said, "Okay, it's up to you. I have to go out."

"Don't go out! Don't you know how dangerous it is outside?" Draco tugged on his robe and looked at him puzzledly, "You look like a brainless Gryffindor!"

"Obviously, Draco, as long as you wear the amulet, you won't be in that danger." Brian shook the brass coin in his hand and said.

"Okay, as you wish!" Draco said angrily, walking straight towards the dormitory.

Brian shook his head slightly, turned around and walked out of the stone wall, putting on the invisibility cloak. He climbed the stairs, past the dark foyer, across the grounds, and once again into the Forbidden Forest.

He walked along the dark forest path, heading deep into the Forbidden Forest, and came to the extreme edge of the castle model.

Brian walked along the border, carefully inspecting several locations, and finally found some gadgets in an unassuming cave.

It was some stones arranged in strange shapes.

Brian identified it carefully and showed a faint smile.

He walked out of the cave, crossed the border, entered deeper into the Forbidden Forest, and walked slowly in one direction.

The deeper Forbidden Forest gradually becomes dangerous, and Brian needs to use a few magic spells from time to time to drive away the beasts that come out to look for food at night.

After Brian waved his wand to drive away several rats that were half as tall as a man, he heard an exclamation not far behind him.

Brian's face darkened slightly, he turned around, knocked the rat behind him unconscious, and rushed towards the direction of the sound.

In the thick grass, Draco stood up in a panic. He wore a single-sided spectacles on his face and was busy pulling the invisibility cloak on his body. Seeing Brian's gaze, he chuckled awkwardly and took off the funny glasses on his face.

"Why are you here, Draco?" Brian said angrily.

"Ah, I came out to take a look at the scenery..." Draco raised his chin and said with a proud expression, "There is no rule here that no one is allowed to come..."

"Tell me, why are you following me?" Brian rolled his eyes slightly and tilted his head.

Draco smiled evilly and said, "I sprinkled some developer on you, and I brought this..." He shook the single-sided glasses in his hand and said, "Developer mirror."

Brian raised his eyebrows. He knew this product. It was one of the items in the Magic Joke Shop. The developer is a colorless and odorless ink, and the fluorescence it emits can only be seen with a special developing lens. However, its confidentiality is not strong and its practicality is not high. It is often used by young wizards to write ciphertexts and passwords. Unexpectedly, Draco developed a new use for it.

"Then why do you have an invisibility cloak?"

"Because I found the invisibility cloak to be very useful and asked my father for it not long ago." Draco said proudly.

"Okay, I was indeed careless." Brian muttered, "Go back, Draco. You shouldn't follow me, it's dangerous."

"No way! You must know something, but you never tell me!" Draco lowered his voice, "Did you discover the identity of the heir?"

"Anyway, Draco, what happens next will be very dangerous." Brian looked at him and said, "You might die."

"You didn't deny it!" Draco said with excitement, "You really came out to find the heir? You shouldn't have excluded me! You clearly knew that I would help you!"

"That's not the case. Now, go back, Draco!" Brian said seriously.

"You can't order me to do anything, Brian." Draco raised his face and said, "You can pretend I don't exist." He put the invisibility cloak on himself.

"Okay, then you have to hide, Draco." Brian said softly.

"Of course." Draco's voice came muffled.

"Stay away from me, and remember, don't ask why for anything that happens tonight." Brian said gently, "I will explain it to you after tonight."

"Okay!" Draco's voice said from a little distance.
