Infinite Heroes Seat

Chapter 68: Project 3

As soon as June arrives, the atmosphere in the castle becomes exciting and tense. Everyone is looking forward to the third project because it will start a week before the end of the semester. Harry has been in contact with Ron for spells for some time recently, and their progress has not been smooth due to the lack of Hermione’s help-Hermione’s recent situation is a bit weird. She lowers her head every day to study and rarely interacts with others. Krum came to her several times and was pushed off by her. Of course Harry thought that maybe this was her true side.

On the day of the game, all the players gathered outside the Quidditch maze.

"Gentlemen and ladies, the third mission, this Triwizard Tournament final is about to begin! Let me tell you the scores of the current players! The first two players are both 85 points, they are not Modi · Mr. Guris and Mr. Harry Potter, they are all from Hogwarts School!" Thunderous applause and cheers suddenly sounded, and the birds of the Forbidden Forest fluttered their wings into the night sky.

"The second place is Durmstrang's Victor Krum! His score is 83 points." There was another round of applause. "The third place is Fleur Delacour from Boothbat College!"

"Listen to my whistle now, Harry and Guris!" Bagmon shouted, "Three, two, one!"

He blew the whistle vigorously, and Harry immediately ran into the maze. Although he had the same score as Guris, he knew that he was definitely not an unfamiliar opponent. Only if he was one step ahead would he have the hope of winning!

After Harry ran in, Mo Wen walked into the maze unhurriedly.

There are tall hedges on the road. The surrounding hedges are so high and dense that the entire maze appears dim.

Simply, a ball of light spurted from Mo Wen's wand, and all the surroundings were illuminated at once. Looking at the road ahead, Mo Wen shook his head, but didn't go any further.

Soon there was the second whistle, and Krum walked into the maze, and then there was the third sound, and Fleur also came in.

After a while, Mo Wen still stopped where he was, but there was a bright light behind him approaching, it was Furong.

"Darling, are you waiting for me?" Furong's smiling face was especially radiant in the dark.

Furong has been very happy recently. Since Mo Wen saved her sister in the second project, she has automatically become a follower of Mo Wen after she is grateful, and the contract has also been converted into the same follower as the original Qiu. The contract has gained a lot of benefits from it. She also obtained Mo Wen's knowledge of arcane magic. Unlike Qiu Zhang, who is soft-tempered, the competitive Furong pays more attention to the improvement of her own magic power. The newly acquired magic knowledge simply opened another door for her. Although due to the short contact time, she can only master a part of low-level magic, but this has also made her strength improved. Looking at the strength that she was improving every day, coupled with the wonderful taste of having fun with Mo Wen, Furong became more pleasing to the eye as she looked at Mo Wen.

Mo Wen glanced at Furong, "Go and solve Krum, I don't want any accidents at the end." He told Furong the position he had obtained through magic, and Mo Wen walked in the other direction. Go, Harry is there.

  ------

To the left...to the right...to the left...Harry is running in the maze. He must speed up. Only in this way is there a chance of winning. Now that he has done this step, he doesn't want to lose or die. For Guris, as long as he can win the Triwizard Tournament, he can prove to others that he is the best and that he is the savior!

   "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhqh

Krum or Guris? Harry thought to himself that although he hoped it was the latter, his reason told himself that it might be the former.

"Well, a warrior has fallen!" Harry said silently in his heart, but he didn't mean to rescue him at all. Instead, he ran faster.

He ran into a few dead ends again, but the ever-increasing darkness convinced him that he was getting closer and closer to the center of the maze. Then when he walked down a long and straight path, he found something moving again. The light from the magic wand shone on a very strange animal, and Harry had only seen pictures in a book called "The Giant Book of Monsters" before.

This is exactly a sphinx, it has the body of a big lion: huge minions, a long yellowish tail; and the head is a woman's head. When Harry got closer, the Sphinx rolled her eyes and stared at him. Harry raised his wand hesitantly. She didn't squat down and pounced, but she kept walking back and forth between the two sides of the road, preventing Harry from moving forward.

Then she spoke, her voice low and hoarse, "You are very close to the target, and the nearest way is to pass through me."

"Then, would you please let me do it?" Harry asked, actually he knew what the answer would be.

"No," the female monster replied, and continued to walk there, "unless you can solve the riddle I came up with. I will let you pass if you answer it. If the answer is wrong, I will attack you. If you don't answer, I will Will let you go and won't hurt you."

Harry cried out inwardly. The guessing thing is a good trick for the clever people like Hermione and Guris, but she's not good at it. But he thought about it again and again, if the riddle is too difficult, he won't answer it, so that he can safely leave here and look for other routes.

   "Okay," Harry replied, "Get out--!"

A dazzling light hit the Sphinx from behind, the monster screamed in horror, and its body began to be petrified a little bit from low. In the blink of an eye, a lifelike statue appeared in front of Harry, the Sphinx Finally, the expression of horror was frozen at that moment.

"Who!" Harry held his wand nervously, and he could easily petrify the existence of the Sphinx, which was not easy to deal with whether it was a human or any magical creature.

A person walked briskly out of the shadows, a pair of golden and silver eyes looked particularly bright against the night.

"Harry, come here. I'm already waiting over there. I don't have much time to play a guessing game for you now." Mo Wen looked at Harry and said unhurriedly, as if solving a sphinx just now was like It's as simple as eating a meal.

"Guris, what do you mean?" Holding his wand tightly, Harry asked nervously, "Who is waiting for me, and did you attack Krum just now?"

Mo Wen shrugged his shoulders, but turned and walked in the other direction, "The trophy is here. If you don't want it, you can't come."

Seeing Mo Wen's fading figure, Harry gritted his teeth and rushed over. The desire for victory broke through his inner anxiety. He didn't worry that Mo Wen would lie to him, so he also walked in this direction. Yes, unless you don’t want a trophy, this direction should be correct. Secondly, the Sphinx also said that passing behind it is the fastest route.

After crossing a few more paths, Harry just felt his eyes light up, and the trophy was shining on the pedestal a few hundred meters away.

"Ha!" Harry, who was originally behind Mo Wen, suddenly accelerated ~www.wuxiamtl.com~ quickly past Mo Wen and ran towards the trophy.

"Idiot!" Mowen said disdainfully, "The brain is not working well, even the eyes are blind?"

A behemoth suddenly jumped out of the hedge to Harry's left and knocked Harry over. A spider, at this time, eight black eyes glowed aggressively, several giant pincer-like stings were sharp as blades, one of which was sandwiching Harry's legs.

"Relax!" Mo Wen a curse hit the giant tongs, and Harry only felt the spider's strength loosen, and the whole person fell.

"Faint!" It was another curse, and the spider who wanted to rush towards Harry overturned and fell to the ground with eight legs twitching.

Harry, who injured one foot, didn't care that Mo Wen had just rescued him, but instead used one foot to forcefully jump towards the trophy.

"Tsk," Mo Wen slapped his lips, "It seems that Harry has become much more selfish under the influence of Voldemort's soul fragments." He didn't realize that there was a large part of his own reason, whether it was grabbing love with a sword or a blow. Humiliation, Mo Wen acted like a catalyst to explode the darkness in Harry's heart. Under Voldemort's influence, Harry was almost as different as the original book.

One step, two steps, Harry's hand got closer and closer to the trophy, and finally in Harry's surprised eyes, he grabbed the trophy.

Then, Harry felt a force jerking at his body, and then his legs lifted off the ground. His hand was firmly fixed on the trophy, and he couldn't let go. Lifted up by an invisible force, Harry felt the surrounding wind roaring...
