Chapter 43

This is our second meeting after we broke up.

I was worried that it would be awkward if we met again, but when we meet face to face, it’s nothing.

There were no feelings of jealousy or resentment. Is it because everything was arranged that day?

Seon-ah was the first to say hello.

“Hi.”

“uh. Hi.”

He greeted people awkwardly and looked at them.

The man who came with Seon-ah looked at me and held out his hand.

“Have we seen one before?”

I said holding the hand.

“Yes. Wait for the festival.”

“nice to meet. I’ve heard a lot about the kids.”

“nice to meet you too.”

“What did you come to school for?”

“Someone I know wanted to see the school.”

I saw Go Junhyung.

He is the son of GH Construction, one of the largest conglomerates in Korea.

A tall, handsome face. His shoulders were wide open and he had a good physique. He had a charming appearance that caught people’s attention, regardless of whether he came from a chaebol family.

A strong confidence was evident in his gestures and eyes.

He probably never bowed his head to anyone in his life.

The car key was in his hand. When I asked who came to school in a car worth 300 million won, it’s 300 million won, which is the price of a house for ordinary people.

I would have been surprised if it was in the past, but now I am not very impressed.

Hye-mi pretended to be close to Seon-ah, she said.

“Have you seen Jinhoo tea? Isn’t that real?”

The two aren’t really close friends. The reason is that since her freshman year, Hyemi was unilaterally wary of Seonah, who received more attention than herself.

Suna asked.

“It’s an odd car. Is it yours?”

“It’s my friend’s car. I borrowed it for a while.”

Junhyung Go said.

“You can’t make excuses. Because tastes are different.”

You are sneakily driving people’s words into excuses.

Instead of responding, I smiled and nodded.

“Yes. Taste should be respected. The problem is kids who argue with other people’s tastes.”

Go Junhyung also smiled.

“Who says that?”

Unlike his smiling mouth, the way he looked at me was meaningful.

“There is such a child.”

I also looked at Go Junhyung with meaningful eyes.

Then, as if she was stabbed alone, Hyemi intervened with her snoring.

“It’s funny, really. I know it’s hard because my parents’ business went bankrupt, but it’s not unusual to come to school in a car like this.”

I thought that dogs would bark whenever possible, and I tried to put up with it, but I can’t.

“What did you say now?”

When I shot with a stiff expression, Hyemi flinched and stepped back from her.

“My, did I say nothing?

“Hey, Hyemi Lee!”

“Hey, are you yelling at me now? This is gender violence.”

Suddenly, Kyung-il stepped forward as if protecting Hye-mi.

“Jinhoo, you have to be patient.”

Why are you coming?

“Why do I have to be patient?”

“You’re a woman.”

“·················ogue.”

If it’s just pretty, it’s a problem with this guy who just looks on his side.

I told Kyung-il.

“Look out. I’ll talk to him separately.”

As if excited by Kyung-il’s appearance, Hye-mi hid behind her back and said.

“When I get a little angry, I try to hit a weak woman. This is a problem in our country.”

Then she pulled out her cell phone.

“I will report you.”

“What are you reporting?”

“You tried to scream and hit me.”

“I never tried to hit him.”

“It doesn’t matter what you were thinking. It’s important that I felt that way. When a woman feels threatened, doesn’t she know it’s violence?”

“·················ogue.”

Where the heck do you learn this stupid logic? Are there any schools that teach this?

Go Jun-hyung and Seon-ah watched the situation with interest. Even if it’s not the two, there are too many juniors around.

If I have to fight him here, I’ll just throw away my image… but it doesn’t matter.

Let’s think of it as a way to contribute to the world by properly educating each of them.

“Don’t you think that talking about the ruin of our house has crossed the line for a long time?”

At that moment, English came from behind.

“Hey, Jinu! What’s happening?”

She turned her head to see Ellie walking this way. As time passed and I didn’t come back, it seems that he came to find me.

Ellie came naturally and she stood next to me.

“Who are these?”

“My classmate.”

Her classmates and juniors could not hide their surprise when they saw Ellie as if she had popped out of a fashion pictorial. It was the same with Seon-ah and Go Jun-hyung.

Minyoung asked me.

“Are you together?”

“uh. I was guiding you because you wanted to see the school.”

Suddenly, the way my juniors looked at me changed 180 degrees. In an instant, I feel like I was reborn as a great senior from an otaku.

“How do you know each other?”

What am I supposed to say about this?

Ellie was dispatched to Korea from the Golden Gate Asian office to help with my work. But she can’t just say this as it is.

Minyoung asked Ellie in English.

“What brought you here?”

Ellie smiled and replied.

“I got kind of so bored after couples of days in the hotel with Jinu that asked him to take me around.”

Everyone was surprised by that.

“Ho, a hotel?”

“How many days?”

Kyung-il asked loudly.

“Is it true, Jinhoo Kang?”

“Oh, no…”

It’s not wrong, but it’s enough to cause misunderstanding.

Both my classmates and my juniors looked up to me with respect and praise.

“·················ogue.”

What are these crazy people thinking now?

All eyes turned to Ellie as if something had just happened. She boasted such an overwhelming presence.

Perhaps this situation was not to her liking, Hyemi said in a quarrelsome manner.

“hotel? How can you say such dirty things in front of people? I’m not a woman who works like that. She is a real woman, ashamed.”

I couldn’t help but be amazed.

“Are you crazy?”

“Why? What did I say wrong?”

“It’s not okay to say anything with a pierced mouth. If you think your brain isn’t working when you’re talking, don’t talk at all.”

Min-young was also angry because she couldn’t see it.

“You were too harsh, Hyemi Lee! stop!”

“Huh, are you taking sides with a man like you?”

I said to Kyung-il, who was protecting Hye-mi.

“Move.”

“Uh, okay.”

Kyung-il looked at my expression and stepped back as if surprised.

When her human shield (?) that had protected her disappeared, Hyemi panicked.

“Go, don’t come any closer! I’ll report it to the police if you come!”

very varied

“Do it to report it. Let’s see how it goes.”

“Gee, I’m really going to do it!”

Ellie grabbed my arm.

“Calm down, Jinu.”

Then he stepped up to me and spoke to Hyemi in fluent Korean.

“The introduction is late. I’m Ellie Kim. What is your name?”

Hyemi, who was laughing, was startled.

She probably didn’t know that she could understand all Korean.

“I am Hyemi Lee, a 3rd year student at Hankuk University. So what is that person doing?”

Hyemi was embarrassed, but she was proud and emphasized that it was a ‘Korean university’. First of all, you will see the sign of a prestigious university.

Ellie smiled and said.

“I am a Golden Gate attorney.”

When she said that, everyone burst out in laughter.

“Ugh! Golden Gate, American IB?”

“A lawyer….”

She must have never thought that a woman who looked like a model would be a lawyer. Besides, she works at Golden Gate.

Golden Gate is the world’s largest IB that the world’s leading talents want to join. I wonder if there is only one graduate from Hankuk University every few years, even in all faculties.

Pushing the Hankuk University sign in front of Golden Gate Jaewon.

This isn’t about turning on a flashlight in front of a searchlight.

“Hey, lie. Do you have any evidence?”

Ellie took her business card out of her purse and held it out. Her business card had her name and title written in English and Chinese.

Hyemi’s eyes widened.

At this point, it might be hard to deny it, but it was still an expression of disbelief. She just doesn’t want to admit it.

Ellie looked straight at her Hyemi and asked.

“By the way, what does it mean when you just said ‘a woman who works that way’?”

Everyone’s eyes turned to Hyemi.

“Well, that’s….”

Ellie hardened her expression, she said in a businesslike tone.

“Did you know that it is very rude and disrespectful to say that to someone you are meeting for the first time?”

“What, what?”

“And did you know that she can be punished for contempt under Article 311 of the Korean Criminal Code?”

When the story of her punishment came out, Hyemi was perplexed.

“My, when did I insult you? I never thought of that.”

I returned what I said earlier.

“It doesn’t matter what you were thinking. It’s important that Ellie felt that way. Didn’t she just say that if a woman feels that way, she’s right?”

“·················ogue.”

The child she had been talking about suddenly bit her mouth completely.

She was helpless, and Hyemi, who was rolling her eyes, suddenly took out her phone and muttered.

“Oh! I forgot I had an appointment. I will wait for you friend I will go first.”

I got in front of it.

“Where are you going? Apologize and go.”

Ellie crossed her arms and said.(Read more @ wuxiax.com)

“If you apologize, I will do something that never happened. If you don’t like it, should I formally raise the issue?”

Hyemi looked around her, asking her to listen to her side.

She thought she couldn’t watch her any longer, so her female juniors all stepped forward together.

“Hey, guys…”

Hyemi’s expression brightened as she thought she was on her side. However, the words that came out of the mouths of her female juniors were completely different from her expectations.

“Apologize, sir.”

“Yes. You were wrong.”

“It’s been so bad ever since.

“In that case, what would be the image of the School of Business Administration?”

“It’s a complete disappointment.”

Demands for apology poured in, reminiscent of a hearing.

In the end, Hyemi was driven by her public opinion, and she had no choice but to bow her head.

“Mi, I’m sorry. I’m going to cancel what I said earlier.”

An apple that didn’t even look like an apple was over.

“Well then, I have an appointment.”

I waved her hand to go away.

“Huh. You will.”

Hyemi bit her lips slightly and she looked at me. Seeing her even brimming with tears, she seemed quite upset.

What do you do when you stare?

“You said it was late? Run quickly.”

“Everyone, see you later, guys.”

As Hyemi ran away, she ran somewhere.

Even then, the next day, she would show up at school as if nothing had happened. If it’s a talent, is it a talent?

One of her juniors took the lead and bowed her head to her Ellie.

“We apologize for that. really sorry. Were you in a bad mood?”

Ellie smiled and shook her head.

“It’s okay. It didn’t feel too bad.”

“Then why…?”

Ellie said to her junior who asked why.

“I watched as I walked, but the behavior towards Jinhoo was too harsh.”

So, did you go out because of me on purpose?

Ellie frowned slightly at me.

“Thank you.”

“What?”

“You accepted an apology for me.”

“It’s natural.”

Then Eli said jokingly.

“It doesn’t matter why Jinhoo did that. It’s important that I feel that way. If a woman feels that way, she says it’s right?”

When she heard that, she burst into laughter.

“It is.”
