At the end of one list, another list will be evaluated.

The fourth on the Kyushu God List: Bodhidharma

State nationality: Fengyun

Realm: Early stage of the Heavenly Dao Realm......

"This god is fourth on the list, and he is actually the Bodhidharma Patriarch......? How could it be!"

"This ancestor of Zen Buddhism in Middle Earth is actually also a Heavenly Dao Realm existence?"

"I've never heard of it! And how did he belong to Fengyun Prefecture!"

"Isn't he from the Northern and Southern Dynasties? It stands to reason that it shouldn't belong to one of the nine major states today. "

"That may be the same as that Sanfeng Patriarch, an existence that reflects the heavens!"

"After all, on our side of the Fengyun Dynasty, this is also a legend a long time ago. It is completely on the same level as the Sanfeng Patriarch! It is one of the four most terrifying powerhouses who have touched the ultimate power!"

"I really didn't expect that this patriarch would also be on the list!"

"Actually, it's not an accident!"

After all, the Sanfeng Patriarch, who is as famous as him, has already been counted on the list. "

"How can this old patriarch of Buddhism, who is even older, who has created a lineage of martial arts in Buddhism and influenced the development of martial arts in several dynasties such as the Tang Dynasty, the Great Song Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty, and Fengyun, not be on the list?"

In the midst of the exclamatory exchange of people, the words continued to slowly appear:

Bodhidharma, born in Nantianzhu.

Originally known as Bodhidharma, it was later renamed Bodhidharma.

Bodhidharma, originally a prince of Nantianzhu, escaped into the empty door because he did not want to compete with his two brothers for the throne.

At that time, the 27th ancestor of Zen Buddhism, the Venerable Prajnatara, traveled to the country of Tianzhu, promoting Buddhism and educating sentient beings along the way.

Bodhidharma was attracted by the ideals of the Venerable Prajnatara to purify all sentient beings and the rich wisdom of Buddhism, so he worshipped under the disciple of the Venerable Prajnatara and became a disciple of Zen Buddhism.

Later, Venerable Prajnatara passed away, and Bodhidharma, who inherited the mantle and the great completion of Buddhism, began to travel east to China to spread the Dharma in accordance with the instructions of the Master before his death.

Bodhidharma traveled across the ocean, bumped on the sea for three years, went through difficulties and twists and turns, and finally arrived at the treasure land of China.

After landing in the South China Sea, Bodhidharma walked all the way north, spreading Buddhism and alleviating the suffering of the world.

One day, Bodhidharma, who was preaching the Dharma to the north, was blocked by a vast river.

Just looking left and right, he saw a ferryboat. So he went up and planned to cross the river by boat.

But the boatman, seeing that he was sloppily dressed, barefoot, and strange-looking, refused to cross the river.

The boatman and a few merchants who crossed the river looked at the bald monk in front of them strangely, and laughed at him.

Asked him: You are a sloppy monk, with a tall nose and deep eyes, a stubble beard, and such a strange face, you must not be from my Middle Earth, I don't know which Fanbangyi tribe you are from?

Bodhidharma replied: "The poor monk is from the country of Tianzhu.

The boatman said: "From Nantianzhu? It is said that you Tianzhu people, after going to the thatched house, wipe your buttocks with your hands, which is too unhygienic." No, no, I can't let you come up on this boat. so as not to surprise other distinguished guests. "

A shipload of merchants also smiled and agreed: "That's it." We don't share the same boat as the people who wipe their buttocks with their hands. "

Seeing this, Bodhidharma did not say much.

He sat down on the ferry alone.

Watch the ferry leave.

But when he saw the boat, in a laugh, he sailed to the other side.

However, not long after reaching the center of the river, the laughter suddenly stopped abruptly, and the whole boat became panicked and shouted.

It turned out to be the boatman's youngest daughter, who accidentally fell into the river because she was playing on the deck.

The river was turbulent, and it rushed out all at once.

The boatman who rocked the boat, looking at his daughter who was washed away, only screamed and jumped in a hurry, but there was no way.

Fortunately, on the ferry, Bodhidharma heard the cry for help.

When I opened my eyes, I saw that the little girl was about to be drowned.

Immediately broke off a reed at his feet and threw it into the river.

Then he jumped and stepped on the reeds on the river.

Hurried towards the little girl who had fallen into the water.

He came up to the little girl and lifted her out of the water.

Then he continued to step on the reeds, flew a few times, and jumped lightly to the opposite bank. (If you read a violent novel, go to Feilu Novel Network!)

Such handsome kung fu has attracted the applause of a boatload of merchants.

In my heart, I was also ashamed of my previous rudeness, and I didn't dare to be disrespectful to this monk anymore.

However, looking at the shore, after Bodhidharma gently put down the little girl, he turned around and left silently, not even leaving a name on the law.

Bodhidharma went all the way north.

The news that this Tianzhu monk came east to promote Zen Buddhism soon spread throughout the major monasteries, so that the monks of China welcomed it.

But after the monks saw the ceremony, when they saw that this Bodhidharma came barefoot, they were so cold that they didn't even bring a retinue and scriptures, so they looked down on it.

There was a monk who looked down on him and thought that he was not a monk who had attained the Tao at all, so he wanted to fight with him.

Shanmeng monk said: The lotus flower that grows in the sludge can only be cleaned by the lotus, and the turbidity of the sludge must not be taken.

Bodhidharma shook his head and said: "Unchanged with fate, unchanged with fate!" Sludge can give birth to wonderful lotus, not necessarily not good soil.

Shanmeng chuckled and said, "According to what the master said, isn't there nothing to be said about everything?

Bodhidharma said: There is no good or bad in everything, everything is different from person to person. Of course, the sludge is filthy, but the growth of Miao Lian is absolutely inseparable from it.

Shanmeng was not convinced, and said: Since the master is an enlightened person, then I want to ask you, master, where will this person go after he dies?

Bodhidharma shook his head and said, "I don't know."

Shanmeng sneered: It turns out that in this world, there are things that you don't know about the master?

Bodhidharma nodded: I'm not dead yet, so of course I don't know what happened after death.

When the monks heard this, they were quite Zen.

One day, the monks sat in meditation in the clean room, and they were not allowed to speak for three days.

But that night, Bodhidharma picked up the porcelain tile and rubbed it on the table.

The monks were puzzled and asked him why?

Bodhidharma said to grind this porcelain tile into a mirror.

Shanmeng laughed at him again and said: How can the porcelain tile be ground into a mirror?

Bodhidharma: Since tiles can't be sharpened into mirrors, then how can zazen become Buddhas?

All the monks hurriedly asked: How can we become a Buddha?

Bodhidharma Dao: Buddha is amorphous, and Zen meditation is not sitting or lying. You only know how to meditate, but you don't know why, and then you will never see the way.

The monks asked, "Then how can we see the Great Way?"

Dharma Dao: Fundamentally, we should practice.

The monks asked again: What is the root?

Bodhidharma Dao: The heart is the foundation!

At this time, Shanmeng and the monks were finally convinced by the Dharma of Bodhidharma.

One day, Emperor Wu of Liang summoned Bodhidharma to discuss Buddhism with him. patrol

Emperor Wu of Liang said: Since I ascended the throne, I have repaired Buddhist temples, built Buddha statues, copied Buddhist scriptures, and made countless offerings to monks.

Bodhidharma shook his head and said, "Your Majesty does not have any merits.

Emperor Wu of Liang was unhappy and said: I have done so many things for Buddhism, why do I have no merits, so what do I have to do to have merits?

Bodhidharma Dao: Sympathize with the sufferings of the people, do good deeds for the people of the world, and purify all sentient beings, so that the people have their fields and their dwellers have their houses, which is merit.

When Emperor Wu of Liang heard this, he suddenly realized.
