Vol 7 Chapter 10: arrogant

The sound of machinery running came from the opposite side of the portal.

The scene that emerges from the door is a low and cramped corridor.

Constantine looked at his hands with novelty, and then took the lead to step over the portal.

Kewen followed and waved to cancel the portal.

Stepping on the stand made of metal mesh, Constantine greeted the end of the promenade: "Beeman!"

At the end of the promenade, a messy workbench was arranged. At this time, a thin figure was lying on the platform and writing something.

The sudden greeting made the thin figure startled, and he immediately turned his head to look over in an overreaction.

Finding out that it was Constantine, the little old man with a stubble face was relieved.

"God, John, you scared me!"

The little old man named Biman got up from the chair and asked in surprise, "John, why are you here?"

"Father Hannathy is dead! My client was kidnapped in my presence!"

Constantine said hatefully, "Now I've got his tail! So I need some help!"

"No, no problem!"

Biman nodded quickly: "What do you need?"

"uh-huh!"

Cowen made a noise and stepped past the surprised Constantine.

He came to the little old man Biman, put on an air of bitterness and hatred, and said in a low voice: "Guns! A lot of guns!"

The atmosphere was quiet.

Beaman looked at Constantine a little bewildered.

And Constantine rolled his eyes in disgust, and he said contemptuously, "Don't pay attention to him, extraordinary people are crazy."

"Uh..." Biman was a little funny: "John, you are also a member of the extraordinary."

"No." Constantine shook his head: "I'm just a human, and my abilities depend on knowledge, which is fundamentally different from those guys with superpowers."

"Hey..." Kewen's voice appeared.

He was a little disillusioned, disappointed that no one could understand his meme.

Constantine still ignored Kewen, and he said to Beaman: "I need something to deal with demons! The more powerful the better!"

Biman was stunned: "Didn't I give you the 'Dragon Breath Artillery' before? That's already the most powerful in my place."

"Not enough!" Constantine said with a gloomy expression: "I need more! Give me everything you have here to deal with the devil!"

"God!" Beeman whispered. "John! What the **** are you dealing with?"

Constantine opened his mouth. He chose to hide it, so he said perfunctorily: "I know that those are not good for you! The priest has been implicated and lost his life. I don't want your only remaining friend to have the same accident!"

"Trust me! I can handle it!" Constantine patted Biman on the shoulder: "Go and organize."

Beaman hesitated, then nodded.

He turned and walked towards the religious objects on the workbench, quickly picking.

Constantine sighed silently, then took out his mobile phone and made a call.

"Chaz."

Constantine told his apprentice and driver: "You go to the door of the midnight bar immediately and wait for me!"

"Okay sir!" The excited voice of the little apprentice sounded.

"Don't do superfluous things!"

Constantine exhorted, then hung up the phone.

"Midnight bar." Kewen asked. "Is that the bar that treats all supernatural beings equally?"

"You haven't been there?"

Constantine said in surprise: "Did you just come to this city?"

"Well." Ke Wen nodded: "It's been less than a week since I came here."

Constantine suddenly said: "No wonder I haven't heard of you, yes, it's that bar, and then we need to go there to find something that can deal with the gods."

Cowen nodded.

Before long, Beaman was holding a bunch of things on the workbench.

He said to Constantine, "John, that's all, the holy water, the corpse cloth, the broken blade of the Templars, the socks of a cardinal, and this!"

Biman gritted his teeth and took out a small cross from his arms, and he said reluctantly, "This is the cross I invited from the Vatican, you take it with you!"

Constantine was a little moved, he shook his head and pushed the cross back: "You keep your own self-defense, these are enough."

"about…"

"Beeman!"

Constantine interrupted, looking into Beeman's eyes and shaking his head.

Seeing this, Biman had no choice but to stuff the cross back into his arms.

Constantine raised his hand in relief and patted Biman on the shoulder again, then he found a piece of cloth and wrapped everything Biman prepared together.

Then he looked at Kewen, who was looking at all the religious objects: "Hold your hand and use your portal again."

Kewen retracted his attention, nodded and stepped forward, putting his hand on Constantine's shoulder.

Constantine took a deep breath, then raised his arms in a circle in front of him, imagining his next destination.

"John, you are..."

Beaman was puzzled and didn't understand what Constantine was doing.

Constantine, whose attention was interrupted by the voice, sighed and explained simply: "I'm using magic, Beeman, don't interrupt me."

After speaking, he refocused on drawing circles, and after a while, he successfully opened the portal again.

"Who?!"

The portal opened in an office, and was instantly noticed by the person on the opposite side.

"it's me."

Constantine stepped over the portal and let the person on the opposite side see his figure.

"It's you?!"

A black man who couldn't hide his pride in his expression said in surprise, "You actually used magic?! You didn't say..."

"Yes, there is a price to be paid for using magic."

Constantine nodded and continued, and he pointed his thumb over his shoulder and pointed back: "But this is not my magic, even if there is a price, it will be paid by this man."

"It seems that you introduced a member for me."

The black man looked at Kewen, who was closing the portal, and he said cooingly: "I know all the demigods and demigods in this city, and I know who the wizards, mystics, and wizards are, and you …”

Haughty eyes, bad tone.

The black man said in the tone of a superior: "There have been rumors in the past two days that a mage who doesn't understand the rules has sneaked into the city, is that you?"

"Boy!" The black man threatened in a deep voice: "I give you a warning, in my territory, everything must be done according to the rules!"

Raising his hand and gesturing his eyes, he pointed at Kewen: "Don't let me know you broke the rules!"

Kewen looked at the other party, and then asked Constantine, "Can I kill him?"

"cannot!"

Constantine responded with a headache: "Without Minai, without this bar, the whole city would be in chaos."

"What a big breath!"

The black Minai sneered absurdly. He looked at Constantine: "John, I found a mage, which seems to have given you a lot of confidence? Also, what are you doing here with me?"

"Minai, I need to use that chair!"

Constantine said earnestly: "I'm going to use that chair to channel and find my kidnapped client! Also, I need something that can deal with gods!"

"I think you're crazy!"

Minai raised his voice and asked, "Do you dare to break the rules?! Deal with the gods?! If you are tired of living, I can help you now!"

"Meter…"

"No chairs needed."

Kewen suddenly interjected: "I know Angela's location."

While speaking, Kewen stepped forward, and he walked towards the black Minai.

This made Minai narrow his eyes slightly and raise his hands slightly, not knowing what attack was brewing.

Constantine found that the atmosphere was wrong, and he hurriedly stopped Cowen: "Quinn! We need Minai's help!"

"There are many ways to get him to help." Ke Wen said sternly: "Submission is also one."

"Don't be ashamed!"

The black Mina was angry, and suddenly launched a first-hand attack without giving any face.

He suddenly shook his hands, causing a psychic shock wave to fall on Kewen instantly.

However, Cowen was unaffected.

With the power of his mind that was like a breeze to him, he walked all the way to the black Minay.

In the other's astonishment, Kewen raised his right hand and directly grabbed the other's neck and lifted it up.

glam, glam...

Minet's neck bone rattled in Kewen's hands.

He had completely lost his arrogance, and only panic remained.

Holding Ke Wen's right hand with both hands, Minai's black face quickly flushed red.

Kewen's right hand didn't move at all, and it didn't even shake when Minai struggled.

Seeing that Minai was about to go into shock, Constantine finally reacted.

He hurried to Kewen's side, and while helping Minai break Kewen's right hand, he said anxiously: "Quinn! We need him! Big things are the most important thing!

"

Kewen turned to look at Constantine.

He found that there was no trace of hypocrisy in Constantine's expression.

After thinking for a while, Kewen loosened his fingers, then swung his arm, and threw Mina away in his hand, knocking down a wine rack with a 'clatter'.

"I don't know what is called arrogance."

Ke Wen said indifferently: "You've just killed more than a dozen demons to make you pretentious. I have fought with Lucifer, but I didn't call you this level."

Hearing this, Minai could only lie on the ground weakly, gasping for breath.

Constantine, on the other hand, rolled his eyes covertly, thinking that Kewen can really brag.

But I don't have time to worry about anything with Kewen, after all, business matters.

So, Constantine stepped forward and helped Minai up.

He said sincerely: "Minai, when you are still the only neutral! Mammon and the gods have joined forces to conspire a disaster! Think about the consequences of their successful conspiracy!"

Looking at the black Minai with sincere eyes, Constantine said imploringly: "Help me! Just consider it my last wish!"

Minet's eyes crossed Constantine's.

He glanced at Kewen, who was staring at him, and had to nod slightly witty...
