Starting My Cultivation With Time Management

: Please leave, write something else by the way

The boss of our company is a Fujianese.

His family is said to be a well-known local family. The ancestors made their fortune in Quanzhou in the early years when the port was opened, and later became a well-known smuggling sea merchant. The farthest business was to the Arabian Peninsula.

The reason why we know so clearly is that every year at the annual meeting he brags about their family’s history of struggle, euphemistically called “Shark Spirit”, which means similar to the spirit of wolves, to encourage employees to work hard.

By the way, he also said that the difference between the spirit of sharks and the spirit of wolves lies in the strict status and hierarchy within the wolf pack, and there are various rules for dividing meat, while sharks don't pay attention to this, and whoever can eat meat is considered a skill.

The boss claims to be a Buddhist, saying that the shark spirit is actually a bit ironic, because the Buddha probably does not teach people to speculate, such as producing masks and ventilators during special times.

But later we found that the high probability of his belief was not Buddha, but something else—in his office, there was a gilded Bodhisattva statue with three faces, nine eyes, and eighteen hands, six of which held the Bodhisattva on the ground. Like holding up, the six hands are stretched flat to pinch out the Dharma seal, and the six hands are raised high to make a palm.

Many colleagues privately said that the body material of this gadget may have radiation, because it is easy to get dizzy after staying around for a long time. I don't know about this, because I don't often go to the boss's office.

In short, the reason for not updating today is because the boss wants to organize us to go out to sea for group building tours during the May 1st period to learn more about the spirit of sharks.

To put it simply, we rent a boat to go out to sea like fishermen, divide up 10 teams, and cast nets to catch fish in their respective positions. Then the lunch of the day is the fish we salvage, and the team that catches less eats less.

Don't worry book lovers, I secretly brought a Snickers bar.

Anyway, we set off from the company bus tonight and are now staying in hotels on the coast.

The hotel room has a musty smell, but it's ok because you can see the sea from the window.

I shared a standard room with a certain colleague, and the company secretary was his girlfriend. He just slipped out to have a private meeting with his girlfriend, and I was alone in the hotel typing.

Today I was going to continue to write extra stories, but this colleague just sent me a long message on WeChat. I think it is very interesting, so I specially share it with you.

His girlfriend told him that in fact, the boss went out to sea specially during May Day, not for team building, or to learn some shark spirit, but to salvage something from the sea.

It is said that the boss has often had a strange dream since December last year.

In his dream, he dreamed that his ancestors went south by boat and came to a big island called Luosuosi, and dug a burning statue of Bodhisattva from the island.

This thing should be the one on his desk, but it is not the same one. The one on the desk was consecrated later by a master from Thailand.

In short, this bodhisattva later blessed his family with safety and prosperity, and the fleet that went out to sea "kowtowed and stopped when encountering wind and waves", and the business quickly became bigger and stronger.

But in the Qing Dynasty, great conflicts arose within the family because of the division of the family. A certain ancestor probably suffered a wrong. When the family fleet was sailing, he jumped off the ship after stealing a statue of a Bodhisattva.

Every time it came to the end of the dream, he would watch the Bodhisattva slowly sinking into the deep sea, gradually being completely swallowed by the lightless ocean, and then he would wake up suddenly.

Because this dream is so frequent that the boss has a deep obsession, thinking that this is a hint from the Bodhisattva to him to salvage the lost Bodhisattva statue in the family, so he organized us to go to sea for group building.

This reason is actually unreliable, because if he really wants to salvage something, he can just pay the boss of the ship to help him. Why use so many company employees?

Perhaps it was to let us witness the moment when he salvaged the Bodhisattva.

In short, I have already stayed in the hotel and plan to rest first, and I will post the photos of the sea trip to the group for everyone to see tomorrow.
