The Day of the Draw at Hogwarts

Vol 4 Chapter 24: Is Delix actually so decent?

A wand is a tool used by wizards to magnify magic. Generally, the body tissue of a magical animal is used as the core, and a wood is selected as the body. Can the magic metal act as the wand body? Many wand makers have made their own explorations along this path.

Mr. Ollivander was no exception.

Sadly, Mr Ollivander failed like the other wand makers, leaving behind a huge wand made of magic silver—perhaps more appropriately called a wand.

Mr. Ollivander's magic silver staff is two-finger thickness and two meters long. It takes a lot of effort just to wave it, not to mention those complicated spell-casting movements.

Tom is far less skilled in wand science than Mr. Ollivander, and he can't turn corruption into magic, turning this magic silver stick into a wand that can be used. But he could transform the staff into an oversized magic amplifier. Then through the above rune pattern, this wand can perform several specific magics without complex movements.

Tom was remodeling this staff during the summer vacation, and it has been 80% completed by now.

Today, Tom felt it was time for a phased test. The complete form of this wand is used to deal with Voldemort, so its semi-finished state is also good to teach Voldemort's younger brother a lesson.

Tom put on a wizard robe first, then pulled the staff out of his luggage. The original slender and clean staff has many dense runes on it. The runes meet in the upper middle of the wand, and there is a groove where Tom's wand can be stuck.

After inserting his wand in, the wand trembled slightly. Tom raised the staff, and with a screeching sound, he slammed the staff on the ground, and the top of the staff was shining like fireworks, making Tom feel a little warm on his fingertips.

"Very good." Tom is satisfied with the effect, he knows that his wand has successfully established a connection with the wand. He picked up the staff and walked with Hermione's three-headed dog Patronus towards the heart of the camp - a large four-story tent perfect for his own spellcasting.

At this time, the staff of the Ministry had rushed near the marchers. They desperately wanted to rush in and approach the group of wizards wearing hoods and masks, but they were blocked by invisible barriers and could not get close.

"Actor." Tom cursed inwardly. He noticed that many employees of the Ministry of Magic were simply not doing their best, pretending to be trying to rescue them, but not actually making effective efforts.

The wizards in the parade moved forward in an orderly manner, and lit the tents by the roadside. The wizards at the Ministry of Magic could only watch from the sidelines, neither daring to walk away without an order, nor to attack the marching crowd with magic. The weakness and rigidity of the Ministry of Magic are vividly reflected here.

If this goes on, the Ministry of Magic will be disgraced, and the Death Eaters will be a foregone conclusion.

Tom quickened his pace and trotted to the center of the camp. There were several black marks on the tall, castle-like tent. It can be seen that the Death Eaters are very interested in this landmark building, and they cast several flame spells on it, but the tent seems to have been treated with fire protection, and the few spells failed to set it on fire.

At this moment, the gate of the "castle" opened, and Tom walked into the luxurious tent effortlessly, and climbed the stairs to the top of the tent.

There are some sundries scattered here and there, and it seems that the owner of the tent once held a barbecue banquet here. It's just that with the turmoil, the owner here fled.

"What are you doing? Come down!" Just as Tom stood up, he heard an anxious and familiar voice from below. Tom looked down and was happy - downstairs was his old acquaintance, Dulix.

"Mr. Dulix, what are you doing?" he shouted at Dulix.

"I'm going to stop those lunatics—and, here's the question I should be asking: what are you doing?"

"Just like you, stop them."

When Dulix heard this, everyone was stunned.

As the Auror on duty, he had just been patrolling the Irish camp, giving the restless Irish some physical persuasion. After hearing that there was trouble here, he rushed over immediately, only to see a man carrying a long stick climb up to a tall tent.

He asked the man's purpose, and the man told himself he was here to quell the unrest? Dulix was a little dazed: there is no such person in the ministry, and what is his stick for?

He took a closer look and saw the silver alien Patronus, and he recognized the man on the roof at once - Tom Yodel!

Is he going to use the Patronus to attack the crowd? It doesn't seem to be possible? But he is still a child! Dulix believes that Yodell should really want to solve the problem, but he is very doubtful that Tom Yodl really has that ability.

Delix climbed into the tent and said to Tom seriously, "It's very dangerous here. You'd better go to evacuation with your family. It's fine to leave it to us professionals."

Tom gave Delixi a strange look: he didn't expect this guy to be able to say such positive words. In his impression, Delix has always been a jerk...

"Don't look at me like this! I'm an Auror!" Delix's self-esteem was trampled by Tom's gaze, and he shouted dissatisfied.

"That's right, you protect me here, the front swing of my spell is a little long." Tom looked away from Dawlish and turned to the parade crowd. The arrival of Mr. Weasley and others stabilized the situation. Under his command, the wizards and the remnants of the Death Eaters on the Ministry of Magic's side launched a spell against each other. More and more wizards have joined the Ministry of Magic~www.wuxiamtl.com~ Maybe this stalemate will continue, and after a few hours, the Death Eaters will use Apparition to leave.

Tom could not accept this treatment.

He put his wand in front of him, held the part of his wand inlaid with both hands, and took a deep breath—

"Atmospheric-ventus!"

Wind blows--!

With the staff as the center, a breeze was born. The breeze circled around the stick, doubling in size each time it circled.

Soon, the weak breeze became stronger and stronger, rolling up the oven and wine bottles on the top of the tent. A drop of cold sweat broke out on Tom's head. This wand requires more magic power than he thought!

Whoo-ha! Tom took a deep breath again, raised his staff, and then landed heavily on the top of the tent again. The ground trembled, and the whirlwind suddenly expanded several times and floated toward the parade crowd.
