Chapter 1012: Goal!

Aakesh introduced all five store products to Ruby, further shocking her.

Ruby finally understood why Aakesh seemed uninterested in doing business with the Dice Association. The products the store had obviously come from a top-level organization, and the Dice Association stood no chance against it.

The store gave her a new goal since she wanted the Dice Association to reach the level of the organization behind the store. At the same time, she also doused the rage in her heart and accepted the situation calmly.

"Store owner, give me three first-grade lesser Mind Expansion Pills," Ruby requested. She wanted more pills, but Aakesh refused to sell even a single more than the limit, and when Ruby still tried to persuade, he pointed toward the rule board, shutting her up.

She was a peak Divine Being and was on the verge of becoming a Divine Lord, so the effect of the pills excited her.

Aakesh nodded and got up from his chair. He went to the pill counter and took three pills from the last shelf in the first row.

Soon, Aakesh returned to his chair with three pills in his hands.

"You need to pay six hundred lesser Sacred stones," Aakesh announced and pushed the pills toward Ruby.

Ruby took the amount from her space ring and pushed it toward Aakesh. He waved his hands, and soon, the stones disappeared from the store and appeared in the system's space.

After the pills, Ruby asked Aakesh about Panagea. The next instant, when she learned there was a long line of people and hours of waiting, her face was filled with disappointment.

Since today was her day off, Ruby had nothing else to do, so she decided to enter Panagea and check what the store owner said about it.

Since there were hours of waiting in front of her, Ruby decided to check other products to spend that time. Both cultivation arts and beasts interested her, so she fell into a dilemma about whom to choose next. The sheer knowledge she could get from the cultivation arts was incalculable. As for the beasts, it meant a loyal partner with mighty strength.

It took some time for Ruby to come to her decision, and in the end, she chose to go for the beast first. She already had a cultivation art of her own, so it wasn't like she was in dire need of it.

Ruby then asked Aakesh a few questions about the Beast Summoner Device. When she got the information she needed, she thanked Aakesh and headed toward the room containing the device.

When she walked into the room, her eyes went straight to the many murals of beasts on the walls. Ruby felt immersed in it, as they looked more like living creatures than only paintings.

Time flew by, and several minutes passed in a flash.

Ruby spent all that time looking at the murals. While she was looking at them, a new customer entered the room and left after buying a beast. It also made Ruby more familiar with the process.

Ruby looked at her space ring to figure out how much money she had before she started the summoning.

"One supreme stone and seventy thousand higher Sacred stones!" Ruby mumbled the total wealth she had.

The first round of summoning cost ten lesser stones, while the next round would grow ten times, and it would continue, so Ruby first made a plan of how many summonings were her limit.

'Let's forget about the supreme Sacred stone.

I have seventy thousand higher Sacred stones, so I can go for eleven rounds of summoning, but that will take more than twenty percent of the amount, so if I get an expensive beast, I won't be able to afford it.

Let's limit the number of summonings to ten.

If I have to activate all ten rounds, It will cost me 1111 higher Sacred stones and more than one thousand ordinary Sacred stones...'

Ruby thought about the situation. Since she came from a trading background, she could never do things without being aware of the costs.

"Let's do 10 and stop at that," Ruby mumbled under her breath since she found it to be the best choice.

After coming to a decision, Ruby didn't waste any time and pressed the switch on the pillar.

The square light began to rotate at an unprecedented speed, and soon five seconds had passed. The next moment, a beast appeared on the screen.

When Ruby saw the beast, she frowned since she recognized it, and it wasn't a very high-level creature.

The next moment, a card emerged out of thin air and flew into her hands. After reading the details on the card, Ruby squinted and put the card back into its slit.

Even though Ruby had decided to go for ten rounds of summoning, she still became disappointed. If she had gotten a desirable beast in this round, she would have saved more than a thousand higher Sacred stones.

Ruby then took a deep breath and calmed her heart. She then pressed the switch again, beginning another round of summoning.

On top of the screen, "1" appeared while the square light began to rotate.

Time flew by, and several minutes had passed since Ruby started her summon rounds.

The square light was currently rotating, while there was a "6" on top of the screen.

It was Ruby's seventh round, and finally, the one that would start charging in higher stones, so she hoped to get a desirable creature in this round at least.

Five seconds passed in the blink of an eye as the rotation came to a stop, and a beast appeared on the screen.

Ruby didn't get too excited even though the beast on the screen was unfamiliar to her since she had already seen two unfamiliar creatures of ordinary quality.

Ruby waited for the card to appear, and the wait didn't last long as soon it flew into her hands.

Ruby couldn't hide the anticipation in her heart when she looked at the card, but the next moment, she became dumbfounded, and soon, it turned into an ugly expression.

Ruby would have thrown the card if she hadn't known how to control her emotions because it was a wolf species, a rare species at that, but it was only a lesser quality beast.
