1301 Elia’s Experience(19)

Chapter 1301: Elia's Experience(19)

After getting the desired card, Elia walked toward the semi-pillar. Similar to the last time, after waiting for a few minutes, it was Elia's turn.

She then put the card in the card compartment, and the next moment, she found herself in a different environment.

The scene looked straight from a horror scene, as there were tens of thousands of enemies encircling her, while mutilated corpses were littered across the ground like sand particles in a desert.

Even that scene wasn't enough to make any change in Elia's emotions. The next moment, her body acted and activated [Cataclysmic Fire].

The following second, Elia was engulfed in scorching flame, radiating an insane amount of heat, so much so that even the air seemed to be burning in its presence.

It was only the start, as after engulfing Elia, it began to expand crazily, engulfing a large area in no time. The fire seemed to ignore the ground and charged toward the numerous enemies encircling the user.

As it passed the enemy, the enemy melted into a pool of liquid, and in no time, even that was vaporized, erasing any proof of their existence. The fire kept growing crazily, and at first, it didn't affect Elia.

But as the intensity of the flame grew, Elia also began to feel warm all over her body. At first, it was nothing, but with each passing moment of time, the intensity grew.

At one point, it reached a situation where Elia found that she was passing through fire. There were no burn marks, but there was a slight discomfort.

Elia's consciousness understood why the warning contained details about the intensity. While Elia was feeling discomfort, the fire attacking her enemies was on another level. It vaporized an enemy into disappearance, even when it was a few inches away from the guy.

Time flew by, and soon, the scene returned to calm. Except for Elia, there was no second life present there, and as for the proof of their existence, that had disappeared as well.

The skill not only vaporized the enemies but also brought the same fate to the numerous corpses on the ground. Even though the corpses belonged to the people on her side as per the memory, the skill treated them equally.

[Cataclysmic Fire] was a skill that couldn't be used in the midst of battle despite its high destruction since the skill didn't distinguish between ally and enemy. Everything in its range was the fire's food. Even the user of the skill was in danger if the intensity reached extreme points.

Except for the extreme points, Elia didn't need to worry about the skill. She was on her own and didn't care whether others died during the skill's activation if her enemy also died.

The next moment, Elia's consciousness returned to the store. Her eyes immediately went to the screen on the device.

The next moment, the screen lit up, and the content on it appeared.

[Skill: Cataclysmic Fire

Level: God

Cultivator: Early to Peak True God

Compatibility: 43%

Training Time: One hundred thirty-nine years and seven months.]

Her compatibility with the skill was twenty-five percent shorter than what she had with the skill related to the strength element. The compatibility didn't only affect the training time; it also affected the strength the user could unleash if fully mastered.

A user with seventy-five percent compatibility but only half mastery of the skill would be able to bring out more power than a user who had complete mastery of the skill but whose compatibility was only forty percent.

Considering factors like that, Elia immediately rejected the fire element from her list of choices. Elia might have higher compatibility with some attacking fire-type skills, but it was a waste of time to work to find that skill since there were numerous skills related to the fire element.

It was better for Elia to put that time into searching for skills related to another element and finding the best compatibility percentage.

Elia then returned to the counter and put the skill card back. When she pulled her hand out, there was a new skill card in her hands.

Since Elia chose the water element after the fire element, the card belonged to the skill of a water element.

Time flew by, and Elia kept pulling out and experiencing the best offensive type skill she could find from the elements in her mind.

Elia wasn't stupid enough to do it for every known element since she or her race had no relations with the elements of space or time, so she didn't choose to pick out a skill from either of the two elements.

Elia only thought of the primary elements or the elements she had come in contact with. She even tried to pull out a skill related to the element of rage.

Elia had found a good skill for that element, and when she experienced it, she even liked the power. But something different than what she believed happened. Her compatibility with the skill was less than twenty percent. It was horrendous, to say the least.

It was the first time in the skill room since she began taking out the skill cards and experiencing them that she was taken aback by what transpired before her.
