Chapter 1478: Choice!

Aakesh liked the details of both upgrades equally since both of them opened a large market for the store.

The upgrade of the second pillar was only restricted to beasts summoned or hatched from the store, while the first upgrade had no such restrictions.

At the same time, the second upgrade provided something that many customers had been eagerly waiting for since the product's arrival.

The summoned beast's progress depended on the quality of the beast. The lower it was, the harder it was for the beast to progress further, while the higher the quality, the easier it was for the beast to achieve the breakthrough.

Many customers liked their beasts due to the equal contract signed by the store, so they didn't want to give up on their beast once its quality reached ordinary since it was almost impossible to progress with that quality.

Due to that, Aakesh had been asked about the quality upgrade several times, and every time, Aakesh would reply with silence.

Aakesh remembered that the system had informed him that there would be a feature for the quality upgrade, so he never answered with a straight refusal. The feature was finally here, and seeing the details, it seemed like it was going to cause bloodshed in many customer's pockets.

But the first upgrade was such that, despite having the most asked feature, Aakesh didn't immediately make his decision.

The combined hatching could change the dynamics of not only the beast group but also the Sacred Dimension.

What if the eggs of the two overlord beast races were to be combined, and a terrifying beast emerged from them? It would cause a terrible war across the dimension.

Aakesh felt that, in that case, many beings would even disregard the store out of greed. Even though the system added a warning that not every combination would result in favorable results, there were still fifty percent chances of it being favorable.

Aakesh didn't worry about the aftereffects of the feature since he was invincible inside the store. He only cared about what benefits the two upgrades could bring him and which was more suitable for that moment.

The store had sold several billion beasts, so the market wasn't that small for the second upgrade.

Aakesh had come to his decision at that time, but since Lily and Khaval were there with him, and he always involved them in any of his decisions to make them feel better, he asked for their opinion.

"The second upgrade is more suitable than the first upgrade," Lily gracefully replied like a scholar.

Khaval only scoffed, seeing Lily. He no longer trusted Lily's words after what she did the previous time. She would always mock him for taking Aakesh's questions seriously, but when it was her turn, she did the same, and in the end, Aakesh took her suggestion.

Khaval acted as seriously as before but also responded with the same answer. He didn't show much interest in the combination feature due to it being an unstable product.

The higher the quality of the eggs, the more difficult it would be to combine them. If there were unlimited attempts for every combination, then the first feature would have been his choice, but after every failure, the two eggs wouldn't be able to combine again, limiting the feature to one chance.

The second feature had no such limitation. If one chance failed, the beast could employ the feature again. The only limit set was that one beast could only use the feature once a year, which was nothing worth the trouble.

At the same time, the bloodline evolution ability allowed the beast to grow stronger with every serum, so there were certain advantages. There was no parameter to quantify the bloodline level of the beast summoned in the store, so with every evolution, the beast's familiarity with the owned skills would grow, making it further stronger.

Aakesh's thinking was in the same direction, so a gentle smile spread across his face, and he nodded in appreciation.

Lily couldn't help but scoff when she saw Aakesh's reaction toward Khaval. In response to Lily, Khaval grinned at her and sparks formed between the two creatures.

Aakesh could only smile wryly when he saw the two members of his family. Before the two could fight and cause a storm in the store, Aakesh tapped on the blue screen in front of the second Beast Summoning Device.

The next moment, a blue light enveloped the second device, while the blue screen near the first device disappeared. The process only lasted for a second, and following that, a new switch appeared on the second pillar.

The switch was below the healing card compartment, next to the start button. One button started the process of healing, while the newly appeared button would allow the beast in the beast card to be injected with a serum that would give it a chance to upgrade its quality.

Aakesh decided to test the feature, so he pressed the button for summoning. Despite only being at the Divine Lord cultivation level, he could also summon from the second device because of his privilege as the store owner, which allowed him to be unrestricted by the cultivation level.

Five seconds later, a beast appeared on the screen and immediately after its card. The beast was familiar to him due to his vast knowledge.

As Aakesh's luck would have it, he failed to summon an ultimate quality beast, and the one in his hand was a legendary quality one.

Aakesh only sighed upon seeing that, but since he needed a beast below ultimate quality to test the function of the new feature, he wasn't at a loss.

Aakesh placed the beast card in the card compartment and pressed the evolution button. The next moment, a blue light enveloped the card and dissipated three seconds later.

Following that, the card flew out of the hole and into Aakesh's hands. When Aakesh saw the details, he found the beast's quality had upgraded from legendary to divine.

Aakesh decided to give it another try and repeated the process. He used his privilege as the store owner and bypassed the limit of one evolution serum once a year.
