Chapter 333 - Rain

Chapter 333: Rain

With the appearance of the seven Yultes, Aakesh knew he had lost this round since even the weakest Yultes exceeded his level by two sublevels, while the strongest in the group was a Level 7.

Even though defeat felt imminent, how could Aakesh give up on the battle?

He decided to forget the million strong soldiers on the ground and entirely focus on the group of Yultes. Before the round ended, Aakesh wanted to kill as many Yultes as possible.

Thinking like this, Aakesh stopped the chant he had just begun. He then disappeared from the spot where he was standing and appeared in the air.

In the span of less than a second, Aakesh had jumped up and down several times. While he jumped, he also shot arrows, with multiplication arrows randomly in the midst.

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

The sound of a metallic clash rang in the area as the swords in Yultes's hands clashed with the arrows shot by Aakesh.

Aakesh wanted to push forward to put pressure on the group of Yultes since the strongest in the group was just standing and not taking any actions against Aakesh at all. Unfortunately for him, he couldn't push forward, but instead, he had to move backward as he felt that the Level 7 Yultes would attack him if he dared to take a step forward.

With every clash, Aakesh was getting pushed back. While Aakesh was fighting the six Yultes at the same time, the soldiers had also reached him.

The soldiers who took the leads were in a needle formation, with the spearman at the front, while the shieldsman gave a cover to them.

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

The sounds of metallic clashes continuously rang in the area. Aakesh was still entirely focused on the group of Yultes. Even though the soldiers had reached him, he ignored them.

Time flew by.

"Boom!"

An arrow with an orange fire arrowhead successfully pierced the defense of one of the Yultes. The next moment, a mushroom cloud erupted in the air, and an explosion loud enough to shake the land around several meters appeared.

It has been around ten minutes since the battle for conquering the fort had begun.

Aakesh had numerous injuries on his body, but fortunately for him, none of the wounds reached a severe stage.

The group of Yultes was in an even worse shape than him as just now Aakesh had killed the first Yultes of the lot, while the other five similarly had numerous injuries. One of them even had a life-threatening wound after the combined effort of a few multiplication arrows amputated three of his four hands and pierced one of the eyes.

The Level 7 Yultes finally made his move after one of the Yultes in their group died.

Since the beginning, Aakesh had been keeping an eye on the Level 7 Yultes, so when Aakesh saw the Yultes suddenly disappearing, he readied himself to defend.

The Yultes were too quick for Aakesh to defend by shooting, so Aakesh had no choice but to stop the slash coming at him by the bow in his hands.

"Clang!"

The next moment, a sound of metallic clash rang in the area as the sword in the Yultes's lower left hand clashed with the bow.

The Yultes expressionlessly looked at Aakesh and then slashed at him, aiming to cut him in half using his other swords since he had four hands and four swords.

Aakesh had predicted something like this, so before the sword could reach him, his bow arrived and stopped it from killing him.

Time flew by, and a few seconds passed.

Every time a swing came at Aakesh, his bow came at the right time and defended him.

Even though it helped him in surviving the slashes of the Level 7 Yultes, he wasn't the only opponent Aakesh had. There were five more Yultes and more than a million soldiers.

Since Aakesh was busy defending him with his bow, he wasn't able to shoot arrows to stop the approach of the other Yultes and the soldiers. Using that time, the soldiers had surrounded him.

"Whoosh!"

Aakesh suddenly bent down. The next moment, a spearhead passed through the place where his head was a moment earlier.

At that moment, a slash came at him. Aakesh using all the strength he could accumulate at that moment in his legs, jumped in the air to save himself from the spears and sword swings that came at him.

The Level 7 Yultes only glanced at Aakesh jumping. A glint passed through his eyes. The Yultes then joined the four swords and his four hands to make a pattern of a cross.

Suddenly all the four swords began glowing at the same time. Soon, an outline of a new blade appeared floating in front of the cross.

Aakesh's jump hadn't even been completed when he suddenly sensed a life-threatening danger. Before he could even look or think of defending, the blade passed through him.

Aakesh didn't feel anything when the blade passed through him. He just lost his consciousness.

If Aakesh were here to see the scene, he would've seen rain of his blue blood and body parts that had been cut into tiny pieces.

The next moment, Aakesh appeared in the selection area, with his last memory being the danger he had sensed.

Aakesh didn't even have to ask as the system automatically added the memory of how he had died into his head.

Seeing the scene of his blood and body parts raining, Aakesh nodded and promised himself to grant the same courtesy to the Yultes when Aakesh killed him.

Aakesh had no interest in entering any new training area, so his comfortable chair appeared next to him. He sat on it and began thinking about his strategy to handle this situation of more than a million soldiers who had at least the same level as him and the seven Yultes.

Time flew by.

While Aakesh was thinking about the solution, a portal out of nowhere appeared in the selection area, and then Lily stepped out of it.

A grin spread across her face, seeing Aakesh waiting for him. She then jumped directly on his head.

Aakesh stopped thinking about the fort when Lily appeared.. A smile spread across his face as Lily shared her experiences of the training area, making him forget about his loss and death in the battle.
