688 Different Kind of Battle(2)

Chapter 688: Different Kind of Battle(2)

The Armadoran stayed surprised for several seconds after seeing it alive.

"See, peaceful people like me are Immortal," The Armadoan looked at Aakesh and reprimanded him, teaching him the lesson of peace.

[Ding!]

Aakesh heaved a sigh of relief as he didn't have to hear any further nonsense from the creature as the sound of the bell rang in the battle arena, announcing the start of the second match for the day.

Aakesh didn't speak with his words but with his weapons. The next moment, he waved the cloth, and it flew toward the Armadorna with several times quicker speed and power compared to Aakesh's last attack.

Despite it being quicker and more powerful than the last attack, the cloth hit the ground in the end, creating a large cracked surface, while the Armadoran was just a slight distance away from his previous spot.

"Eh, why do I want to attack this strange creature?" The Armadoran suddenly uttered out in surprise, as for the first time ever in its existence, an idea to attack someone appeared in its head.

"No, I can't do that. I am a peaceful person," The Armadoran shook its head right after, ignoring Aakesh's second attack coming toward it.

Similar to the first battle, the Armadoran failed to defend against the second attack and died as a result. This time, it had half its upper body completely crushed as if some heavy object got placed there.

The next moment, a familiar scene of light sweeping across the battle arena appeared in the area.

Sometime later, Aakesh tapped on the blue screen and chose to fight the third battle.

Not long after, the arena returned to its pre-battle situation, while the Armadoran also returned alive.

"I am alive this time as well," The Armadoran exclaimed again.

"Am I really an undying creature? Did the Multiverse reward me for my kind nature?" The Armadoran asked itself as it was still hard for it to believe that it was alive.

"Hey, strange creature, why did you kill me again?" The Armadoran then took his focus to Aakesh and asked him. Its tone contained nothing but disappointment in Aakesh's action. It had a look of pity in its eyes as it thought of Aakesh as some mental creature that couldn't stop killing.

"Eh, why am I feeling an urge to take revenge for getting killed?" The Armadoran asked again without even giving any time to Aakesh to respond.

The creature behaved as if it was the only one there since one moment it asked a question to itself, and the next moment, it would ask Aakesh. And then, without giving any time to Aakesh to answer, it would return to itself and ask another question.

Aakesh didn't know what to speak or feel at the moment. He was usually expressionless all the time, with no care for what was happening to others. But for some reason, the Armadoran was making him feel irritated and was testing his patience. Aakesh knew it was the doing of the system as different opponents had different kinds of situations.

Aakesh believed that since the male Armadorans were known for their laidback attitude and never fighting, the system was making him feel psychological issues with the battle.

At the same time, the battle between him and the opponent was taking longer time than usual to start. In the earlier days, he would have already won four or five fights up to this point, while today, he was still waiting for the third fight to begin.

[Ding!]

Finally, Aakesh's frustration came to an end as the bell finally rang and announced the start of the third battle for the day.

Without waiting for even a moment, Aakesh released an attack. This time, he didn't want to let the creature dodge the attack, so he used more strength than he would rarely use at this point of the battle.

The next moment, something unexpected to Aakesh happened.

The Armadoran failed to dodge the attack and died as its entire body had gotten filled with countless holes. It wasn't what was surprising for Aakesh, but before his strike was to reach the creature, Aakesh saw the Armadoran attempting to punch at the cloth flying toward him.

Aakesh couldn't help but feel that things were going to be interesting. He knew that his intuition wasn't wrong when it sensed that the battle was going to be different than usual today.

"Eh! Why did I try to attack?" The Armadoran asked itself after it got revived once again. Its tone was filled with disappointment since it had never expected it to attack anyone.

"Is my peaceful nature not the reason behind me being Immortal?" The Armadoran then asked itself, Its jaw almost dropping to the ground as it believed that its peaceful and kind nature was the reason behind the Multiverse rewarding it with an undying body. But now, it got revived again despite it attempting to attack the strange creature in front of it.

As expected, this time, the bell for the fourth battle rang even later than it was for the third fight. The creature was like a chatterbox as it had already spoken more words than Aakesh had ever spoken with others, excluding Lily.

At the same time, Aakesh could feel the growing irritation in his heart the more the creature spoke. If not for the restrictions on attacking the opponent before the ringing of the announcing bell, Aakesh would have forcefully shut the mouth of the Armadoran.

[Ding!]

The bell finally rang and announced the start of the next battle.

This time, Aakesh didn't attempt to kill the creature straight away as he found the time between the start of the fight to be more challenging for him rather than the actual battle with the Armadoran.

Aakesh started the battle with a rhythm. He only used one percent of his strength and attacked the Armadoran.

The Armadoran didn't even attempt to defend itself as it led the cloth filled with needles hit its skin while it continued uttering different kinds of nonsense.

It was as if the creature was conscious of its actions in the last battle. It forcefully controlled its hands so as not to try attacking Aakesh.
