737 Out of Expectations!

Chapter 737: Out of Expectations!

After Aakesh lost the seventeenth round of battle, he found himself back in the selection area.

Since there was still some time left before Lily would exit her training, Aakesh decided to spend that time in another training environment.

Aakesh didn't have to think about the training area since he was going to the similar one he went to yesterday.

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, several minutes had passed.

The silence in the selection area suddenly broke down as a cracking sound emerged, and following it, a portal-like space crack appeared. Soon, a silhouette stepped out of it, and it was none other than Aakesh.

Aakesh took a glance around and didn't see Lily waiting for him. Since Lily's training was about to end anytime, Aakesh decided to wait for her rather than enter another training area.

Time flew by, and the waiting soon came to an end as Lily emerged from the second emergence of the portal-like space crack.

Lily then asked the system for her chair, and not long after, her chair appeared placed in front of Aakesh's chair.

Lily didn't like training, so she wanted to enter Panagea, but the tradition between her and Aakesh was to her liking since she was the one behind the idea. Even if the time flow rate in Panagea became thousands of times compared to the Primal dimension, Lily wouldn't care about it when she was talking with Aakesh.

More Time flew by.

Lily and Aakesh first discussed how their days had gone by before Lily's return to the store. After that, Aakesh and Lily began discussing additional strategies for Lily to conquer a large territory of her own in Panagea.

Today, the conversation went lengthier than usual since the events happening in Panagea were out of expectations for both Lily and Aakesh.

The King, who was the ruler of the land Lily had in her fiefdom, was a cruel and egoist person. Just a day before Lily's return to Panagea, a piece of tragic news spread around in the Kingdom.

The King's eldest son had died tragically in a battle with an opponent the prince should have never trifled with.

The King didn't care much since his son had died due to his foolishness of challenging someone more powerful than him, but since the son had the status of being the King's eldest son, the King took the death as a hit on him. For someone of his ego, it wasn't something that could be considered a trifle.

The King had summoned all the head nobles in his territory, and he was probably going to announce war.

Lily was worried since fighting in the war wasn't good for her. War changes everything. It gave her a way to create a positive perception in the eyes of the other nobles, but unfortunately, Lily didn't have such capabilities for now. Her army was one of the best-trained forces in the Kingdom, but they still couldn't do anything to people exceeding Level 250, and there was no lack of Level 250 in the opposite force.

"Use this war to bring other nobles under your umbrella," Aakesh didn't see this war as Lily. The war was unexpected for Aakesh since he couldn't just divine the King's eldest son dying, and the King then might announce a war.  Despite that, the war could fasten his plans by months, if not years.

Wars are the best way to create negative perceptions of the ruler. The title of the King was hereditary, and there was no expert capable to fight the King. Aakesh wanted the other nobles to do the deeds for him, and Lily would deal the last blow and enjoy the fruit.

Aakesh didn't like these fights for thrones, but since Lily wanted to sit on one and had used one of her three wishes, Aakesh was going to help Lily sit on the highest seat and rule.

Time flew by, and after discussing the strategies by which Lily could use the situation and if somehow the war occurred in her favor finally came to an end.

Aakesh had a smile on her face, while Lily was also beaming with joy since discussing with Aakesh had given her a sudden inspiration, which Aakesh also liked.

The next moment, Aakesh and Lily disappeared from the selection area and appeared in the store's hall.

Not long after, a door floating midway in the air appeared after Lily summoned it. Soon, steps connecting the door to the floor also emerged.

Lily then climbed on the steps and entered the room. After Lily left, the door to Aakesh and Lily's room closed on its own.

The next moment, the smile on Aakesh's face disappeared, and the usual expressionless face took its place.

Since there were still a few hours left before sunrise, Aakesh decided to enter Panagea. He turned around in the direction of the portal room and stepped forward.

As usual, Aakesh's eyes fell on the ranking leaderboard. Maria still maintained her first place and didn't look to lose that spot anywhere near in the future.

Aakesh's eyes glanced across all the top hundred adventurers. There was no change in ranking from yesterday, so Aakesh moved his eyes away and went to the nearest virtual portal.

Aakesh then touched the portal using only the tip of his finger. The next moment, a suction force stronger than anything Aakesh could fight against appeared from the stars shining in the portals and sucked him inside.

The next moment, the light in the stars began dimming. In no time, all the countless stars had turned gray, signifying that it had gotten filled.

Aakesh was already aware of the process of entering Panagea, so he didn't miss anything.

The next moment, Aakesh found himself in the spot he had exited Panagea before the sunrise.

Aakesh had exited Panagea inside a settlement since he had ideas of doing some quests, and not just hunting creatures.

Since today went differently than earlier days, and Aakesh spent some hours doing the store upgrading quest, he didn't have enough time to do the missions and then activate his class skills, Watcher.

With the time remaining, Aakesh could only do one thing if he decided to follow the schedule he had put for him after the time flow rate in Panagea changed.
