"I completed 'Joker', Agnas' last song."

As soon as those words were out of Aiden's mouth, he knew that the reactions were going to be something he had never seen before.

Doubt was the first one out of all the emotions that Joseph was going to feel today.

"What are you saying? You should not joke about anything like that."

"It's not a joke. I won't lie about something like this. I know what it means to you."

Joseph looked into Aiden's eyes.

They were resolute, pure, truthful. Age had made his vision worse but it had given him the ability to see the truth from the lies.

'He's not lying! But how could it be? No one, not even me, was able to complete it. No, first let's see if the quality is intact. I need to hear it to know it.'

He thought in his mind and the senior agent who was already becoming impatient shouted out.

"What the hell is 'Joker'? Are you calling us clowns? Theodore, what is this behaviour? I thought you were a professional. What is this stupid guy and the director is saying? Fix this mess up."

"Hey don't shout! Let me explain. 'Joker' is—"

"Agnas' last song and the reason why I even wanted to direct this biopic."

Baz interrupted Theodore and completed his sentence. Then, he went on to talk about how the idea of the biopic had even come up.

It had happened a long time ago when Baz had heard 'Joker' due to Joseph and had been entranced. He had only listened and talked about the song for the next three days.

In the end, he decided to make an Agnas biopic.

The end of this biopic was actually going to be 'Joker'. The song plays as the credits roll to the tragic death of Agnas but no one was able to complete the song and hence, another ending was used.

But now, Aiden has managed to complete it.

It was nothing short of a miracle.

"Is it really completed? Even Joseph wasn't able to do it and he's arguably one of the best composers in the world."

Theodore asked and glanced between Joseph and Aiden. He was not even 30 and did what a world famous composer wasn't able to do? It was hard to believe.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure he just made a mess of it and is now saying that he completed it."

Liam who was silent till now finally opened his mouth. He had heard enough to know what was going on.

Other people in the room were also thinking of the same thing as him.

"I heard it."

At that moment, Baz opened his mouth, shutting everyone who was doubting Aiden's claims.

"Are you sure the quality is the same?" Joseph asked.

"It gave me goosebumps."

That was enough of an answer for everyone to turn towards Aiden. Standing next to him, Wade was suddenly feeling like Aiden's plan was working.

He was proud of the actor he had chosen to represent. Tom was the same and he looked like he was happy to be witnessing history happening in front of his eyes.

This was going to be written in golden letters in the future.

"Aiden, can I hear it?"

"Okay."

Aiden said, taking out his phone and putting the volume to the loudest. Then, taking a deep breath, he played the song.

Everyone went silent after that.

If he was being honest, it was probably the hardest song for him to compose. And he didn't even know how he had done it.

He was in such a state where he felt like he was living with a hole in his heart and only completing the song was in his heart.

He finally understood that to complete 'Joker', you needed to be in an emotional range that a few people in life would experience.

That's the reason why no one was able to do it till now.

His skill 'Connect' had helped him in that.

After completing the song, he had written down lyrics on top of it but even if there were no lyrics, the song was emotional enough to make people cry.

Those lyrics were also written in a trance-like state which Aiden could only describe as feeling like you are in an endless grief.

One more thing was that the song didn't have silver light.

'It's the first song from me to have a golden light.'

Yes, the whole room was covered in golden light as the song played. It was a very strong golden light and although Aiden knew that rather than him, it was because of Agnas, he still felt like it was a big achievement for him.

The effects it had on people were very clear too.

Wade and Baz, who had heard the song before, looked a bit emotional and a few people were already unable to stand and have sat down.

Both Cameron and Liam being singers have realised what they were hearing and it looked like they were having chills on their body.

Finally after three minutes, the song ended.

With it, a tear dropped on the ground.

It was Joseph.

"Grandpa, are you okay?"

Cameron quickly rushed to him but Joseph shook his head, telling him that he was fine. His eyes were red and he seemed to be taking deep breaths.

"I'm fine… I'm fine… It's just I never thought that I would be able to hear this in my entire life. I feel like my life has fulfilled its purpose now."

Saying that, Joseph looked at Aiden and slowly walked towards him.

Then, he hugged him.

"Thank you. I underestimated you but you gave me the best gift of my life."

Aiden wasn't able to say anything and just hugged him back.

'This must mean a lot for him.'

He thought in his mind and closed his eyes for a bit.

Theodore also looked a bit emotional and now, he was looking at Aiden with a different light. Infact, everyone was looking at Aiden in a different light.

It was special.

"Okay, he completed the song. It's a good one. I agree but can we come to the main topic now? I like the whole emotional scene but Aiden still can't play Agnas."

The whole atmosphere was broken by the senior agent and Tom wondered for a second how much months he would need to spend in jail if he body slammed him a little.

"We can't do the movie without the song." Theodere said as everyone looked at him. "If Aiden could compose the song, then it's fair to say that—"

"That doesn't mean great acting. If he was that good in acting, you would have selected him on the spot."

"He was among the actors who was nearly casted until Intra Entertainment interfered."

Baz replied and the senior agent shrugged. Next to him, the rat faced assistant was shivering, thinking that the agent was stupid to show this type of attitude to the director.

Even if Liam kept the role, Baz would make his life a hell on the set just because of his grudge against the agent.

"Every agent wants his actor to get the role. That was decided."

The senior agent said firmly. Then, his gaze landed on Aiden and his face showed an evil smirk.

"If it's only about the song, we could just use it. We are using other Agnas' songs in it anyway. We will just put Aiden's name in the credits. It will be fine, right?"

"Bastard."

Wade muttered and glared at the senior agent. He was saying to just get it over with since Aiden completing the song meant good for the movie but it didn't mean that they needed him.

He wanted to throw Aiden out.

Theodere was going to interfere when he suddenly saw Aiden smiling.

'Why's he smiling? Wait a minute…'

He widened his eyes and in the next moment, Aiden looked at the senior agent.

"I don't think you know but the copyright of the song isn't in Agnas' name."

"What?"

"He died while making it. Only people close to him knew about it and his family wanted nothing to do with his music. The song was with Joseph because of that but even he never copyrighted it. No one did. There's no record."

It was a sight to see everyone's face when Aiden revealed that.

All of them looked at Joseph but going by his face, it was true. Aiden could just say that it's his song and everyone would believe him.

"You copyrighted it?"

"I did. Two days ago," Aiden said. "Of course, my intentions are very pure and I only did it because I knew someone would say something like that. I know the cockroaches in the industry very well. I won't take any credit from Agnas. Don't worry about that."

With that, it was a checkmate.

The game was in Aiden's hand. The senior agent was baffled but before he could say anything, Baz opened his mouth.

"I have already decided that Aiden would be the lead. My decision won't change."

"The CEO—"

"I will talk to him about it personally. I know how to convince the production and distribution company."

It was sealed then.

The senior agent gave a glare to Baz and Theodere before motioning Liam to follow him. The rat faced assistant did the same.

Before Liam could pass Aiden, he stopped him.

"We all try our best to get roles in the industry. I'm not against you nor do I hate you. I just don't have a habit of losing out on something I really want."

"I heard you have a movie coming out. Good luck with it."

Saying that, Liam left the room.
