Chapter 438: 15. Stay forever

   Chapter 438 Fifteen. Stay forever

The bald strong man looked at Mike playfully: "Let's check your brother, can we?"

"I didn't steal anything from you this time!" Virgil's simple and honest voice sounded.

"Shh, don't talk!" Mike bumped Virgil with his shoulder and said with an unnatural smile: "Of course, everyone can prove it for us."

To prevent the casino from using the next trick, he pulled the surrounding gamblers in to testify.

No casino dares to use small tricks at the risk of being discovered by guests.

provided that Virgil was really not stupid enough to take a chip.

Mike still had a trace of fantasy. You see, they only asked for Virgil to be searched but not himself, which shows that the casino still follows the rules.

But soon, his mind was filled with more tangled thoughts: Could it be possible that they actually saw Virgil steal the chips?

In any case, Mike could only watch the strong man's two men walk up to Virgil, rudely searching his pockets, as powerless as he watched the dice box fly up and down.

After dozens of seconds, the subordinate who had not found anything stepped back and shook his head at the strong bald man.

   They didn't find any chips.

Virgil snorted and lowered his head to straighten his wrinkled clothes.

This is often the only thing that the bullied can show their dignity.

Mike breathed a sigh of relief, "How about it? Can we leave?"

The voice of    fell, and Mike's breathing suddenly stopped. The look of the strong bald man reminded him of the hungry and greedy beasts he encountered on the way.

   "Perhaps swallowed."

Realizing that the situation was becoming difficult to end, Mike couldn't help but walk up to the bald man and explained loudly: "Listen, we're from Allenberg, it's a small place where Zenster was killed by monsters not long ago. The attack killed almost everyone. We escaped and went to the port to leave by boat. We are not locals, and we don’t plan to stay here for a long time. It’s useless to ask your casino chips, right?”

spoke too quickly for anxiety, and the reemergence of the Allenbeardshire accent made his words more believable.

But the strong bald man just sneered, grabbed Mike's collar like he was carrying a chicken, his eyes fell on Virgil, who wanted to rush over but was subdued by his subordinates.

Mike, who was caught by the bald man, begged: "We are leaving in the afternoon, there is no way to wait until Virgil pulls out something, and even if he swallows the chips and eats a few pieces, we can pay you back, okay? ?"

"That's really too slow." The bald-headed strong man cracked a cruel smile, took out the knife on his thigh and threw it to his subordinates.

Mike suddenly seemed to have lost all of his strength, staring blankly as his subordinates caught the knife and walked towards Virgil.

"Idiot... How can the Black Mamba allow outsiders to take the money from the inner district..."

In a trance, Mike seemed to hear a low sigh from the crowd. He subconsciously looked at the crowd, only to see a pair of blank eyes.

He couldn't find who had just made the sound.

A force suddenly emerged from Mike's body, and he shouted to the crowd: "This casino will be framed for stealing if it wins, so you just look at it and don't care!"

But to his despair, these numb figures were motionless, motionless, and even emotionless.

Mike began to struggle, trying to get rid of the bald man's control: "Wait a minute you can't do that! Please, we grew up together, he was my best friend—"

   "I didn't steal your chips!"

Virgil's roar interrupted Mike's struggle. He grabbed the knife and looked at the strong bald man.

The strong bald man didn't care about the knife in Virgil's hand at all, and looked playful: "Prove it to us."

"how to prove!"

Mike has faintly realized something and shouted: "I am willing to refund all the money I won except the ticket!"

The bald man ignored Mike's noise and said to Virgil, "Cut your stomach open and let's see if we have any chips."

The angry Virgil hesitated and looked at Mike, who shouted at this moment: "I'll give you the ticket too!"

In Mike's pleading eyes, the bald man seemed to finally satisfy his appetite: "I think the chips your brother stole won't exceed the money you won. If you teach it, you can—"

"Ferry tickets can't be given to them!"

Virgil's shouting brought the focus back to him, and he glared at Mike and said loudly, "We're going to the Lennon Islands! Aren't we going to prove it, I—"

"don't want!"

Mike's terrified scream rang out in the suddenly dead casino.

  Some retching sounds echoed around.

   "You saw it! I didn't steal...your chips..."

The initial shouting quickly became weak.

   "Really... idiot."

muttered to himself, and the palm that was holding Mike suddenly loosened.

Mike rushed to Virgil, panicking to cover the wound on his stomach. But there was no use except getting his hands wet with Virgil's blood.

The strong bald man looked into the dark corner, and the lit pipe in his mouth swayed up and down.

Looking back at Mike and Virgil, the bald-headed man waved his palms in disgust, as if driving something away and said, "You have proved his innocence, okay, get out with your brother with something."

Mike forgot how he was driven out by the casino. When he helped Virgil to get into the dark alley and sat in the cold, his confused consciousness finally returned to his body.

"I'm so sleepy... Mike..." Virgil struggled to open his eyes.

"Don't sleep...don't...can't sleep! I'll take you to the doctor now!" Mike said incoherently, trying to lift Virgil, when a voice suddenly came from outside the alley.

"right here!"

Before he could turn his head, Mike was hit **** the back of his head and fell to the ground with a thud. Confused, Mike felt his palms torn and fumbled for his pockets.

"The ticket...the ticket is returned to me!"

Virgil suddenly let out a final roar, jumped on Mike and grabbed the hand that was pulling away.

Something was torn apart, and then blurred silhouettes escaped the alley.

A **** hand holding the blood-stained ticket was stretched out in front of Mike.

   "To... Lennon Islands..."

The **** hand is powerless to fall.

Do not! Virgil! Do not! ! !

Mike roared inwardly, anger and resentment filled his heart, he was willing to pay any price...

  【Any price? 】

  Yes, at any price!

murmured in his heart, Mike wanted to raise his head, but his vitality seemed to be pulled away by something and withered in a blink of an eye.

At the last moment, Mike saw an illusory figure walking past him——

Two bodies that have lost their temperature are leaning against the damp and dirty alley.
