Hogwarts: Wizards Supreme

Chapter 68 The First Attack

Brian put on an invisibility cloak on himself and reached the secret room with ease.

"Speak to me, Slytherin - the greatest of the Hogwarts Four."

Brian hissed an incantation, and the basilisk's yellow eyes appeared behind the statue's open mouth.

"It's been a long time... I'm very hungry... Let me tear... Let me kill..."

The basilisk's cold gaze fell on Brian. It was crawling restlessly on the ground, its bright green scales looking very gorgeous.

Brian had already put on those glasses. He looked directly at the basilisk in front of him and hissed:

"I can let you out tonight, you need to solve a goal."

Brian first followed the hole in the statue back to the inner secret room and found the location of Mrs. Norris in the castle model. It was patrolling the third floor, its bright cat eyes looking around, and Filch was at the other end of the third floor.

"Why do you have to do this?" Slytherin's portrait looked at him quietly, "You don't seem to have any hostility towards them."

"For the greater good." Brian smiled.

"Well, I'm just a portrait, and I won't interfere with your actions." The portrait sighed, "You are incompatible with this world, Brian. Being too detached is not a good thing in many cases."

"Why did you set up such a spell, Mr. Slytherin?" Brian didn't want to discuss this issue and asked instead. That boastful snippet is enough to make anyone die on the spot.

"This is the bad taste of the original body. Anyway, he is no longer in the world, so it will only be me who is embarrassed." The portrait said quietly, "Of course, it cannot be ruled out that he himself thinks so."

Brian nodded, turned and left here.

He climbed onto the basilisk's head and let it carry him up the intricately intertwined pipes, and finally left the secret room.

Brian took out the goggles, drew his wand, pointed it at it and muttered: "Indestructible."

He put the goggles on the basilisk's head. The goggles naturally stretched and lengthened, covering the basilisk's eyes, and then it became invisible.

From the outside, the basilisk was not wearing anything suspicious.

"Go get rid of that cat," Brian hissed.

The basilisk shook its body in dissatisfaction. It wanted to kill people, but it could not disobey this man's order. It swam out of the pipe and out through the open door.

Brian sat on the basilisk wearing an invisibility cloak. They walked through a passage and saw Mrs. Norris wandering around the castle like a lion patrolling its territory. The basilisk moved closer.

Mrs. Norris sniffed in front of a puddle of water and saw its reflection. In an instant, it fell to the ground stiffly, as if it had turned into a cat-shaped sculpture, its yellow cat eyes widening.

Brian slid to the ground along the smooth scales of the basilisk, lifted Mrs. Norris's curved tail and hung it on the torch stand nearby, then took out his wand and pointed it at the wall, causing a line of red writing to appear on it, It's like it's written in blood.

While Brian was making arrangements, the basilisk swam restlessly on the ground and crawled around the corner of the corridor.

"Come back." Brian said.

"Someone over there... asked me to eat him... he was too hungry..." The basilisk retreated reluctantly.

Brian immediately stopped what he was doing. He looked around the corner of the corridor and saw the petrified Filch.

Filch's eyes widened in horror, looking straight at the bright glass window, as if looking into the distance.

"Accident?" Brian murmured, "But it doesn't matter."

He ordered the basilisk to return to the secret room and left the third floor directly, heading towards the auditorium.

Not long ago, at the death anniversary party, the three little lions felt that they couldn't bear it anymore.

"It's too cold. I can't stand it anymore." Ron's teeth chattered and his stomach growled.

"Let's go." Harry glanced at the food on the table, feeling sour in his stomach.

"I really want to warm up in front of the fireplace." Hermione tightened her robe and sniffed.

"Luna, do you want to leave?" She looked at Luna who was chatting happily with the ghost and asked.

"No, I want to chat with them for a while." Luna said happily, "It's really interesting here, isn't it?"

"Where's Brian?" Hermione didn't want to comment here. She looked around and couldn't find that familiar figure.

"He left early," Luna replied, watching with interest as the Headless Hunters performed acrobatics with their own heads.

"Well, that's a really smart choice," Hermione said. She couldn't believe she had foolishly stayed here for so long.

They hurriedly left the party and walked through the gloomy aisles toward the auditorium.

"I'm so smart that I came to a place like this." Ron said, he missed the warm fireplace and the fragrant food. "I hope the party isn't over yet."

At this time, Harry asked doubtfully: "What is the sound?"

"What? I'm talking." Ron said.

"It wasn't your voice, there were other voices." Harry stopped abruptly. The voice was cold and made his whole body shiver.

"No sound, Harry." Hermione looked at him worriedly.

Harry listened intently and said, "Listen! He's talking again!" He looked at the ceiling and felt the voice moving upwards.

"Harry, ignore it." Hermione said seriously, "It's not a good thing to hear sounds that others can't hear!"

"That's right, Harry, maybe there's a ghost hiding in the wall, probably Peeves." Ron looked around.

"No, it's going to kill someone!"

Harry shouted, breaking into a run. He went up the stairs and followed the sound to the third floor. Ron and Hermione stumbled after him.

They walked around the third floor, and when they walked around a corner, they saw Filch standing stiffly looking out the window.

"It's Filch!" The three little wizards took a step back in unison and hid themselves behind the corner.

"We should go back, I don't want to be caught by Filch." Ron breathed out.

"Harry, let's go." Hermione tugged at Harry's robe.

Harry was concentrating on listening to the sound, when he said a little dejectedly: "Okay, the sound has disappeared."

They walked towards the stairs and Harry saw something glistening on the wall of the adjacent corridor.

"What is that?" He ran over.

There is a line of writing written on the wall:

The secret room was opened again, and the purification of the school began. Be wary of those who are enemies of the heir.

They also saw Mrs. Lorris hanging aside. They looked at each other, held their breaths, and felt their hearts pounding.

At this time, the little wizards who had finished the banquet were noisily walking over. Everyone suddenly became quiet when they saw what was happening in front of them. You can hear needle drops throughout the corridor.

Brian was among the young wizards, standing next to Draco and watching this scene quietly.

Draco looked over and saw the writing on the wall, his cheeks flushed with excitement.

"The secret room has been opened, you are next!"

He glanced at the nasty cat hanging on the side, and looked maliciously at Hermione standing next to the writing.

"Hurry...go find the professor!" Hermione glared at Draco fiercely and said to Harry with a slightly trembling tone.

"What's the matter?" Lockhart's voice came from behind the students. He shouted loudly, "Don't be stuck here. I'll handle it. Nothing can trouble me!"

The little wizards tacitly made way for the professors behind them to pass. Dumbledore walked over quickly, his eyes under his half-moon glasses stared at Mrs. Norris seriously, and reached out to pick them up.

Lockhart, wearing a bright violet robe, walked forward with dignity. After a casual glance, he babbled: "It must have been killed by a spell. I think it was the Transformation Torture Curse. I know." It’s a pity that I wasn’t there to break its curse, otherwise I would have saved it in time…”

Dumbledore ignored him, took out his strange-looking wand and knocked Mrs. Norris, muttering a long list of spells, but to no avail.

"Ah -" a scream sounded in the quiet corridor.

"Fe...Filch..." A Hufflepuff girl pointed to the corridor on the other side and said in a choked tone.

Dumbledore bounced up and strode over. It was hard to imagine that an old man could be so agile. Professors McGonagall and Snape hurriedly followed.

Dumbledore's eyes were fixed on the petrified Filch, and he also tapped with his wand.

"Oh, this is so outrageous!" Lockhart swallowed his saliva and said with a forced smile, "You dare to kill the administrator. There must be a crazy dark wizard sneaking into the castle!"

"He's not dead, Gilderoy," Dumbledore said softly, "They're petrified."

"Ah?" Lockhart was stunned for a second, and then said, "Yes, that's what I think...Ah, by the way, who was here at the beginning? Harry, it was you, right? Tell me. How did you find out?"

Snape looked at Harry gloomily and said in a smooth tone: "Yes, Potter, why do you appear here instead of attending the Halloween party?"

Harry stammered, but his reasons didn't hold up. He didn't talk about the ghostly voice he heard because it sounded even more bizarre.

The little wizards around him stared at Harry Potter in horror, as if they were looking at some kind of demon. They silently moved away from Harry, leaving a large area around him empty.
