Chapter 133 I was careless and didn’t dodge!

“Ives, let me see what spells you have mastered.”

Professor Flitwick created a wooden training dummy in the classroom and signaled Ives to show off what he had learned. Professor Flitwick needed to have a general understanding of his learning progress before he could determine the next course.

Disarming spells, stun spells, fire spells, crushing spells, obstacle spells, confinement spells… different spells shot out from the tip of Ives’s wand, some were cast silently, some were not.

Professor Flitwick couldn’t stop talking. He nodded with a satisfied smile.

He was pleasantly surprised. Avis had mastered almost all the commonly used offensive magics, which was a good thing for their courses – it meant they didn’t need a lot of time to learn. Instead of using magic, you can spend more time on training combat skills.

“out of my expectation.”

After Ives finished his demonstration, Professor Flitwick walked over, patted his knee gently, and exclaimed:”I dare say that even the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic don’t know as much magic as you. Ives showed a confused look,”

Professor, I heard that the selection of Aurors is very strict.””

Professor Flitwick explained:”That was more than ten years ago. After Fudge came to power, he stuffed many of his cronies and young masters who went to the Auror office into the Auror office. Today’s Aurors are a bunch of idiots, and only a handful of them can even do the Iron Armor Charm.”

Looking at Professor Flitwick’s angry look, Ives felt as if he had heard something he shouldn’t have heard.

“Let’s not talk about this anymore.” He called two chairs from a distance and motioned for Ives to sit down.”You are very talented in the study of magic, and you can master advanced skills such as silent spellcasting without a teacher.”

Professor Flitwick looked at him with admiration,”What you lack is sufficient combat experience, more detailed spell-casting skills, and your own dueling style.”

The first two are easy to understand, but what is the last one?

“If you want to go deeper in the dueling realm, consider developing your own unique fighting style.”Professor Flitwick added in a timely manner,”For example, which spell should be used as the core of combat, and more broadly, which discipline should be used as the core of combat.”

“Charms, transfiguration, ancient runes…even the dark arts. Just like me, I am good at magic. All my combat systems are built around magic, including what spells to use to defend, what spells to attack, and what spells to contain the opponent.

Professor McGonagall is different from me. She is better at transfiguration, so her combat system is built around transfiguration.”

Avis nodded. He still remembered that when he encountered Voldemort that night in the Forbidden Forest, Professor McGonagall used the transfiguration spell to resist the death curse, as well as the stone giant she later conjured for attack.

He looked at the system panel in his mind and couldn’t help but think about what he was better at.

With the system, there was no doubt that his talents in various subjects would eventually be maxed out, but there would still be differences. Just like his magic studies , now he has learned three special magics through special talent points, and each of the three of them is of great help to his strength.

So which magic should he focus on learning more, or all of them? Ivis rubbed his chin as he thought.

Watching the young man opposite him slowly sinking into thought, Professor Flitwick smiled and said:”You don’t need to make a decision so quickly. Your

dueling style should be slowly formed in each battle.

He stood up, clapped his hands and said,”Okay, we still have training tasks to complete today.””

He motioned to Ives to stand where he was, and then kept a distance of five or six meters from him.

A sly smile appeared on Professor Flitwick’s face,”We will spend the rest of the day training your reaction ability. Ives became alert.

Professor Flitwick continued:”I ask you not to use protective magic, and you can only use body movements to dodge my magic.” I will only use a magic spell to attack you. Don’t worry, you won’t be hurt if you are hit.”

He suddenly raised his hand, and a ray of white light quickly hit the position where Ives was standing.

Ives’ reaction was very timely. He quickly took a big step to the left to avoid the sneak attack. But Professor Flitwick’s magic had no effect. Without stopping or giving any chance to relax, they continuously attacked him from all directions.

Ives dodged in a hurry while shouting:”Professor, you don’t follow martial ethics!””

“In a real battle, the enemy will not talk to you about martial ethics,” Professor Flitwick said calmly,”By the way, I just forgot to remind you.……”

He waved his right hand and his left hand without the wand at the same time, and two white lights shot out. Ives only noticed one of them. When he ran to the right quickly, another magic hit him on the back.

Professor Flitwick’s prediction was very accurate, and he completely blocked Ives’s movements with only two spells.

The place where Ives had just been hit suddenly felt a tingling sensation, as if there were countless little ants crawling on the skin. The sour feeling made him grin, and he had to stop and scratch that area with his hands.

“……I just forgot to remind you that the area hit by this magic will become extremely itchy,” Professor Flitwick reminded,”And I haven’t said the training is over yet~” As soon as he finished speaking, Avis was It hit his left arm, and Professor Flitwick didn’t give him any time to react.

I was careless and didn’t dodge! Ives shouted in his heart.

He gave up scratching to relieve the extremely itchy pain on his back and arms. Feeling, his eyes were fixed on the magic spell shot by Professor Flitwick.

This torturous training lasted for half an hour, during which Ives was hit countless times, and the itching on his skin made him react have become a little dull

“Okay, that’s it for today.”

Professor Flitwick nodded with satisfaction, and casually used the curse to stop the spell on Ives. He was very happy. He originally thought that Ives might be unable to stand it and called to stop in the middle of the training, but he actually persisted. Come down.

He looked at Ives with gratified eyes. Talent, perseverance, and diligence, the little wizard in front of him had all the qualities to become a strong man. He dared to say that the champion of this year’s duel competition would definitely be someone else.

……

Inside Ives’ box, he dragged his tired steps and slumped down on the bed in the cabin.

Not long after, Hermione walked in from outside the box. She saw Ivis sitting listlessly on the stairs leading to the outside world.

She asked curiously:”What’s wrong? Didn’t today’s training go well?”

“It went very well,” Ives said with a grimace, slowly complaining about Professor Flitwick’s”bad taste.”

“Pfft,” Hermione chuckled and comforted,”Okay, Professor Flitwick is also doing it for your own good.”

“Alas,” Ives sighed, hoping that Professor Flitwick could use a different kind of magic next time, even if he was slightly injured!
