Since I didn't specialize in INT and my mana is not that high, it takes a lot of time to recover the lost mana that I used to cast a single [Basic Fireball]. But still, I won't complain since it is still the same damage though but a pitiful one at that. Of course, the damage can be easily seen to the wolf after it received the attack, burning a big patch of its fur. Not only that but it is also hesitant to attack now after receiving damage, causing it to remain at the back of the formation of its pack.

But that doesn't mean it will be able to avoid any damage coming from me.

"[Shocking Lightning!]"

Zap!

The wolf that received both the fireball and the lightning strike staggered and electric bolts started to appear around its body and it is currently shaking. That means I managed to strike and inflict Paralysis since [Shocking Lightning] has a small chance to inflict paralysis against enemies.

The paralysis lasts for 10 seconds or a bit lower depending on the enemy. When the other wolves rushed forward after seeing the damage inflicted on their companion, I have to do my own way to bring them to a stop.

"[Ice Prison!]"

A huge chunk of ice appeared before me, encasing the area and some of the wolves coming up to me. Some of the wolves who didn't get caught by the freeze got caught in the spikes created by the [Ice Prison], effectively impaling and killing them in the process. Because they were impaled with their vitals pierced, they died without the need to reduce their HP to zero. It was a very convenient method and a bit realistic but it's not something I can easily exploit by myself. Of course, I know their vital parts but that doesn't mean attacking their vital parts will kill them instantly. It was just a matter of RNG and chances since it only usually inflicts critical and sometimes, fatal wounds that will cause them to receive [Bleeding].

Seeing the situation from their other companions that died, the other wolves are hesitant to attack but they didn't retreat and just keep themselves circling around the area, looking for a good chance to strike back.

Seeing their hesitation, I didn't bother to keep myself on the defensive and went to the offensive immediately. To make sure my speed is enough and will allow my stamina to last, I decided to use the skill I previously bought in the Ninja skill tree.

[Silent Sprint]

1st Tier

Cooldown: 5 minutes

Mana Cost: 30 MP

Info: This allows the user to Sprint without decreasing its stamina for 2 minutes. Also, footsteps that alert enemies will be temporarily muted during the duration of the skill.

Note: A secret art by Ninja to run without giving any sound. Try running while your hands are in the back and feel the Ninja run.

[Breathless Breathing]

1st Tier

Cooldown: 7 minutes

Mana Cost: 70 MP

Info: You can continue running without running out of breath. Also works when swimming, making the stamina infinite for 5 minutes.

Note: Used by Ninjas to breathe underwater and to run away for escaping. Usually used for spying enemies, but sometimes used to peek at girls in a hot spring or pool and to run away from the scene as soon as possible.

They work the same way but using them together allows me to extend the time limit of the [Silent Sprint] with the help of [Breathless Breathing]. This way, sprinting will not use any stamina in the process. As for my speed, well, I am confident enough that I am fast with my feet. Getting to the position where the wolves are near each other and taking them by surprise, I unleashed my skill.

The HP of the wolf fell to 4,118 but its still a huge amount and the other wolves started to change their positions. It only spells bad news for newbies but not for me.

My MP fell to critical levels. I have been using skills causing it to fall and I don't have any passive skills that allow me to recover a bit faster. But that's where the Mana Potion comes in. Despite the sh*tty taste that I want to puke, it allowed me to recover my Mp to a full bar. I received a few bottles after it dropped in some of the monsters I dropped earlier and since they are small MP potion bottles, they are just a minuscule amount and is just designed for beginner players to keep fighting and grinding levels while they still have no money to buy larger bottles of potions.

"Grawr!"

The paralyzed wolf earlier managed to recover from being paralyzed and started to continue its attacks after I attacked it earlier. Despite being game mobs, they act like real wolves. If someone is familiar with how real wolves act, then it will be really helpful to that person to use it during this time. As for me who only has small extensive knowledge about them, beating them up and reducing their HP is the only thing I know.

But since they aren't so complicated to fight against, I have no problem fighting against them even if they try to do some sneak attacks. They are pretty much predictable and the moment you caught on to what they are thinking, you can just launch your very own counter.

I counterattacked against the attacking wolf which the wolf did not expect me to do. Since all of its guard were down and the wolf is in attack mode, death only awaits the wolf as I fiercely stab the sword on its chest. piercing its heart.

And since I don't want this guy to only suffer fatal wounds since they still have a small chance to survive, I yank out the sword from its chest and pull it upwards, slicing its head to half.

The bigger leveled the monster you are fighting, the bigger the experience earned. It is a very common thing in MMORPG and it's not surprising.

Now that many of their comrades got killed, the wolves are now in desperate mode. Seeing their enemy is still alive and most of the wolves are dead, the remaining wolves will now try to avenge their brethren and fight and try to kill the ones who killed them, and sometimes, they don't just attack normally, they enter the berserk state and can sometimes amplify their attack power.

"Awooooo!"

All of a sudden. An ear-piercing howl reverberated in the surroundings. The howl's pressure is huge, causing me to shake in surprise. No one from the wolves around me howled and I don't think they are the ones who did either since normal wolves don't have this pressure in their howls. If my hunch is correct, the howl didn't come from the normal and average Gray Wolves but to a wolf that is labeled as Elite.

Hearing the howl, the wolves seemed to have gained back their morale and attacked me simultaneously. It's a bit annoying but it allowed me to gain more of their aggro and that will save me time going after them. I started attacking and making sure to hit their vital signs before finishing them off with a bit of a slice in their heads.

-Congratulations! You leveled up from 2 to 3.

-Got 10 AP(Title effect activated, 3 Bonus AP acquired.

-Got 10 SP

-Got...

Several notifications appeared one by one on my interface. However, I have no time to consider looking for it, there are still a few enemies trying to attack me. Swing here, swing there, kill here, kill there, I made sure every attack is precise and fatal.  I am hitting their vitals right now and although some died in Instant Kill, most didn't and are still moving. However, dealing with a finishing move from them while the weapon is still stuck in their bodies allows me to finish them off while they still have a lot of health.

Slash!

As the last Gray Wolf is killed, I saw another four wolves accompanied by a white-furred Wolf appear in the distance. As much as I don't want to meet the Elite monster while I am still low in level, I have to do it now since it is showing up before me.

[Pure White Wolf] Elite Monster

The Elite Monster has finally appeared and from the looks of it, it doesn't look too happy with the carnage I caused!
