While Arthur had noted down the important game events beforehand, there were still many things that he had left from real life. His meeting with Doctor Furial seemed to have stimulated his memories, making him recall things about some people.

Having seen some of the bigshots at the Hypnotek Gallery, Arthur tried to recall what had happened to them and what they would be doing.

'There's bound to be avenues where I can gain some benefit.' Arthur thought to himself.

The first thing that came to his mind was the owner of the Spirals E-sports team, Cohn Myers.

While he himself was a player too, he wasn't actually at the top. In fact, he wasn't even in the top 1000 players in Morpheus Online.

'In the grand tournament, he ranked around the low 10,000's if I recall correctly.' Arthur thought to himself.

A ranking in the 10,000's was relatively good, if one considered the massive player base of Morpheus Online but to Arthur, it wasn't someone who would be hard to deal with in game. His interest in the man came from his administrative and headhunting abilities.

Cohn Myers had been a top E-sports star for nearly a decade before he switched over to management. In some terms, he could be considered a star of the older generation. But with the introduction of Morpheus Online, there was no way he would not be playing it.

Any new game brought forth a great chance at making money, and there would be countless individuals willing to try their chance. It was the same with Morpheus Online and Cohn Myers knew just how vast it was.

It was no surprise that he was among the first batch of people to try out Morpheus Online with the launch of Dream Pod V3.

"Cohn will be investing heavily into searching for talent, in a month or two from now. Officially they only started their recruitment from the sixth month of the launch, but he's not one to lag that far." Arthur pondered on it.

He reckoned that Cohn would have started looking for talented players as soon as they started to head out from the newbie villages and obtained classes. After all, the speed at which one rose through the levels and left the newbie village would determine their talent.

Not many could adapt to Morpheus Online quickly and most would struggle for weeks. Those that could leave the Newbie village in less than ten days' time could already be considered in the top 10% of the player base.

And those that could do it in less than a week were possibly in the top 2-3%. As for those that could it in less than that? They might be in the top 1%.

Of course, this was all something that would only be known nearly a month after the game's launch. Before that, there was simply not enough information to figure that out.

'If I assume that Cohn will start seeking out talented players within this month, he should have recruited at least a handful by next month. The one's that were officially announced six months later would be those that passed their probation period.' Arthur noted down the player names that would be part of Cohn's team.

The reason for Arthur's interest was simple.

The Spirals E-sports team would monopolize a particular quest line that Arthur wished to do at all costs. It was part of the main quest line and had caused a lot of issues for other players when they found themselves unable to progress at all.

It wasn't until the quest line had ended, that they found out they had been sabotaged by the Spirals E-sports team. This wasn't a case where there were limited rewards either. In fact, every player that participated and finished the quest would get a similar reward.

Cohn Myers had simply decided that he couldn't let others grow strong, thus decided to hinder their progress by doing this.

'This time he won't be able to do that.' Arthur decided. "Since he sabotaged the quest with his players, I'll simply prevent those players from coming into his hands."

As long as Cohn didn't have those players, he wouldn't have the same power as before.

With this in mind, Arthur noted down everything he could that would happen during it. He needed to be aware of any change that could happen with his interference too. After all, there was no saying how things would change. There was a chance that they might not follow the same line of events either.

'All I can do is try my best at preventing it.' Arthur reckoned.

Once he was done with Cohn Myers, Arthur moved onto another person.

"The Golden Glade Guild… Ranked Seventh amount the top guilds and the one with the second largest territory." Arthur hadn't forgotten about the in-game properties.

The price for in-game land would reach sky high levels and would almost be on the same level as real world property after a certain point. The Golden Glade Guild might be ranked seventh in terms of power, but in terms of property, they were second due to the aggressive expansion they had done in their early days.

They had done this due to prediction in property costs and the changes in the algorithm that would be happening. It was almost the same as real world market changes but was a lot more difficult to grasp.

This was understandable, as Morpheus Online was ran by an AI. One didn't have access to the true data of the game, and the AI could make independent changes if it felt like things were getting out of hand.

Thus, if one tried to take advantage of the algorithms, they would find that the algorithm had changed in the blink of an eye.

And yet, the Golden Glade Guild had still managed to take advantage of that. This was mainly due to their owner, the Tech Mogul Argus Cook.

He was the head of Cook FinTech and was one of the leading bigshots in market prediction softwares.

Since they had already made something for the real world, Argus had attempted to make it for Morpheus Online as well.

Of course, due to the inherent adaptability and change brought by AI, it had been difficult for him. It was a method that would only work early on in the game, and the AI would change the algorithm so much that no one would be able to use external prediction software at all.

But that early period was still enough for Argus Cook to obtain a property that was the second largest among all guilds. The profits that were brought by this would eventually outgrow their real world company profits.

'Cook had invested fast and hard which is why he managed to do it. I'll have to use the same method.' Arthur thought to himself.

His ultimate goal was to be wealthy and live a comfortable life this time around after all. He didn't wish to be miserable and die again like before.

Thus the best way to ensure this was to obtain stable sources of income. Property was one such investment, whether it be real or virtual.

'I would certainly be getting some real world property, but doing that without catching too much attention would be hard. I'll need to be steady in that. On the other hand, doing the same in Morpheus Online would be much safer.

No one would know who I am after all.' Arthur smiled just by imagining how much he would be able to obtain.

"Huu… I can't get lost in fantasies. I need a solid plan to turn them into reality." Arthur said to himself with determination.

While buying property in Morpheus Online was something that was possible right from the start, the funds needed to do wasn't something that would be possible until several months later.

Even the best player wouldn't have the funds needed to buy even a basic house until a few months later.

Besides, just cash alone wasn't what was needed either. One also needed to fulfill some other conditions to buy the land as well.

These conditions varied, but usually, they were reputation as well as a rank that would allow them to be recognized by the ruler of the land. Without these, even if one had a massive amount of funds, they would still be unable to buy anything.

Many top players in the game had funds for the land but couldn't obtain the rank needed to be able to buy the land. They would have to grind long quests to gain the favor of various NPC's just so that they would become eligible to buy the land.

This was where Arthur's advantage lay.

'This was one of the best-documented sections of information in the forum. The players had written in great detail how to best finish the quests and what was needed to do so.' Arthur thought to himself.

There was nothing more than wanting to optimize a quest that needed a lot of grinding after all.
